Shodoshima, the Olive Island🫒
Shodoshima is a charming island floating in the Seto Inland Sea, known for its olives and beautiful scenery. In autumn, the olive groves and autumn leaves turn vibrant colors, enveloping the entire island in a tranquil atmosphere. The sandy path called Angel Road, which appears and disappears with the tides, offers a magical view and is popular as a lovers' sanctuary. Additionally, there are many nostalgic spots to enjoy, such as the 'Twenty-Four Eyes' movie village, known as a filming location for the movie. Be sure to try the local gourmet dishes made with fresh olives harvested on the island.

Brunei Darussalam 'The Abode of Peace' 🇧🇳
Introducing the three places we visited this time:
'Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque'
(commonly known as the New Mosque 🕌)
'Istana Nurul Iman'
(the palace where the king resides 👑)
'Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque'
(commonly known as the Old Mosque 🕌)
They say there's hardly any tax?!
Blessed with natural resources like oil and natural gas,
it's also known as a wealthy country!!!
The atmosphere of the city during the day and at night is quite different,
and it's a country where you can spend a leisurely time forgetting about the time.
Cappadocia Balloon Tour
Early Morning Balloon Tour in Cappadocia 🇹🇷
The view from the balloon is absolutely stunning🔥
If you're going to Turkey, it's a must-see!!
As we prepared for takeoff, I thought, 'So this is how they do it...'
The sunrise and the vastness of the land were truly moving😭
After a safe landing, it's customary for everyone to pop open some champagne🍾
We had pre-arranged the tour through our hotel, but upon check-in, they recommended a cheaper tour and helped us switch.
It seems like booking the day before is also totally fine.
The price varies depending on the size of the balloon and the number of passengers. If there are too many people, it's hard to see the view and take photos😅
We chose the second tier, but it still cost about 20,000 yen per person.
However, payment is cash only.
We had to rush to an ATM to withdraw a large amount of cash.
There are ATMs, so make sure to bring a card that allows you to withdraw money locally or bring Japanese yen to exchange.
You need to be prepared for either option to avoid trouble.
Booking, payments, and even getting to Cappadocia can be a hassle, but it's an experience so wonderful that you'll forget all those inconveniences✨
St. Joseph's Seminary and Church: Macau
Since the St. Joseph's Seminary is not open to the public, I visited the adjacent church.
The building at the top of the stairs is characterized by its cream-yellow walls, and the interior is similarly colored. It is said to be the only remaining Baroque-style church in Macau.✨
This place is very memorable as it enshrines the relic of St. Francis Xavier's upper arm bone, which has a deep connection with Japan.
The banyan tree in the garden is said to be the oldest in Macau.

[Kamakura] Warm up at the foot bath cafe♨️

The price includes a tea set, a foot bath, and a towel set to wipe your feet after you get out.
The time limit is 30 minutes
I had the impression that it was a bit hectic, but I was able to warm up surprisingly slowly☺️

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial: A Message of Peace
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial, also known as the Atomic Bomb Dome, stands as a symbol of the desire for world peace, despite being partially destroyed by the atomic bomb during World War II.
Located near the hypocenter of the explosion, the skeletal remains of the building serve as a poignant reminder of the horrors of war and the importance of peace.
After the war, the strong will of the local people led to its preservation, and in 1996, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
When visiting Hiroshima, many tourists come to see the Dome and offer silent prayers at the Peace Memorial Park.
Reflecting on history and connecting peace to the future, it is important to cherish such places.
[Osaka/Umeda] All-you-can-eat churrasco while enjoying the night view
🥩 Churrasco Table Umeda Branch

This time, I ordered
· Premium all-you-can-eat 18 types (3990 yen)
· Premium all-you-can-drink (1710 yen)
️📝
You can cut freshly grilled meat with plenty of gravy right in front of you🙏
There are 18 types of meat and vegetables, and they will bring you freshly grilled meat as many times as you like until they stop💗
The appetizer is salad and smoked duck.
It also comes with mashed potatoes, which are delicious either as is or with the meat✨️
There are more than 10 types of rare and popular meats!
The meat is very juicy, such as sirloin and aitchbone, so you'll definitely want to eat it again and again.
They also have garlic sauce and vinegar sauce, so you can change the flavor🙆♀️
The vegetables are onions, pumpkin, zucchini, and more, and the sweetness of the vegetables is packed into the dish✨️
My favorites for the mogu kayu are the grilled pineapple and grilled cheese.
The chorizo is also spicy and delicious!
They also have rice and curry rice, so I recommend eating them with meat💕
The aged curry made by a chef from the Rihga Royal Hotel is also great as a palate cleanser✨️
One dessert per person.
They bring it out at the last order, so you can choose what you like☺️
It's a great deal for the price, with a lot of volume and all-you-can-eat🙆♀️
It's a great place for a date with a view of the night view💗

Hiroshima Castle: A Historical Landmark with Seasonal Beauty
Hiroshima Castle, built in 1589 by the warlord Mōri Terumoto, stands as a symbol of Hiroshima City.
Also known as 'Rijō' or 'Carp Castle,' the name comes from the carp swimming in its moat.
The castle once boasted a magnificent main keep, which was tragically destroyed by the atomic bomb in 1945.
In 1958, Hiroshima Castle was reconstructed and now serves as a history museum open to the public.
From the main keep, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Hiroshima City.

Enjoy the New World to the Fullest!! Experience the essence of Osaka in Shinsekai.
Shinsekai is a very popular tourist destination!
Of course, there are many tourists, but you can also feel the essence of Osaka with locals drinking at standing bars from the morning, enjoying kushikatsu, motsu stew, and old-fashioned cafes.
[Recommendations]
○ You must try kushikatsu!
→ Unlike the kushikatsu you find in Kanto, the batter here is lighter and incredibly delicious. The top recommendation is [Yaekatsu]!! Recently, there are often long lines, and you might have to wait about an hour during lunchtime on weekends. However, it's definitely worth the wait! Since you can't make reservations, if you don't want to wait, going early in the morning might have shorter lines, but there are still queues before opening.
○ Stop by a café
→ There are many old-fashioned cafes where you can enjoy fruit sandwiches, pudding, and the famous Osaka mixed juice. You can fully savor the retro atmosphere.
○ Enjoy Smart Ball
→ In Shinsekai, there are many places to play games like shooting galleries, ring toss, and recently, archery and shuriken throwing. Among them, the old-fashioned Smart Ball is particularly fun, costing just 100 yen to play, and you can exchange your winnings for snacks. Note that those under 18 are not allowed to enter, so be careful.
[Slovakia] A vintage cafe that feels like the Vatican Museum!
"Kormuth Confectionery" in Bratislava is a Western-style confectionery shop where you can enjoy a fantastical atmosphere as if you had wandered into the Middle Ages. The interior of the shop is decorated with antique-style interiors, giving you a sense of European history and tradition. The tableware used is also antique, which really lifts your spirits! By the way, the toilets are probably the cutest in the world! It's a must-see because it's such a beautiful antique toilet that you'll think it's a real toilet👀lol
The popular cakes and pastries are handmade based on local recipes, so you can enjoy an elegant and luxurious taste with every bite🥹
The sweets made with local ingredients and the coffee brewed with a special blend are also popular, making it the perfect place to take a break while sightseeing in Bratislava☝🏽

[Namibia] Flamingo Lagoon in Walvis Bay 🦩
Flamingo Lagoon in Walvis Bay, Namibia, is one of the world's leading observation spots where thousands of flamingos gather🦩
In particular, during the winter season (June to September), when colorful flocks decorate the lake surface, a fantastic landscape unfolds✨
*This photo was taken around April
The lagoon, where the shallows of the lake spread out, is a feeding ground for flamingos, and you can see them walking in groups while probing the bottom of the water with their beaks☝🏽
The contrast between the lagoon against the blue sky and the pink flamingos is beautiful, making it a popular spot for tourists who come for bird watching and photography☺️✨

Experience the Four Seasons at Okayama Korakuen Garden
Okayama's Korakuen Garden is one of Japan's three most famous gardens, created by Tsunamasa Ikeda, the lord of Okayama during the Edo period.
The expansive grounds feature beautifully arranged ponds, waterfalls, and lawns, with seasonal flowers adding color throughout the year.
Another highlight is the view of Okayama Castle from within the garden, offering a harmonious blend of history and nature.
Korakuen is known for its characteristic 'daimyo garden' style, where visitors can enjoy changing sceneries as they walk through.
Additionally, the garden hosts nighttime illuminations and seasonal events, continually enchanting its visitors.
Playing 'Lord of the Rings' in Glenorchy
Playing 'Lord of the Rings' in Glenorchy was like stepping into the movie itself. This place, reached by car from Queenstown on the South Island, is truly Middle-earth. Expansive grasslands, rugged mountain ranges, and crystal-clear lakes—everywhere you look, you're overwhelmed by the grandeur of nature.
With friends, we took on the roles of movie characters, wielding swords and staffs as we began our adventure! Emerging from the forest into the grasslands, we struck poses like Frodo or Aragorn, gazing at imaginary enemies, and joked around while crossing stone bridges, all in high spirits. At scenic spots with mountains in the background, we shouted, 'This is the land of Rohan!' and played as if we were reenacting scenes from the movie.
After thoroughly enjoying our 'Lord of the Rings' play, we took a break at a small café in Glenorchy. The experience of intersecting rich nature with the world of the movie was truly unique to New Zealand. It was a day that felt like stepping into the film.

[Niigata] I visited the Sado Gold Mine, a World Heritage Site
In July 2024, Sado Kinzan was registered as a World Heritage Site✨
So I immediately took a ferry to Sado Island🚢
From the Edo period to the Meiji period, gold and silver mining was actively carried out on Sado Island, and it was an important place that supported Japan's economy.
The remains of the mine include buildings and facilities that convey the mining techniques and lifestyles of the time, and "Otateyama" and the "Kinzan Museum" in particular give visitors a sense of history.
A spot where you can enjoy magnificent scenery while learning about the history and culture of the mine in a natural environment.
Visiting Sado Kinzan also has educational significance as it allows you to experience the traditions and folk culture of the region, and many students visit on school trips. Sado Kinzan, where history and nature come together, has become an attractive tourist destination for many people♪
