Tioman Trip - First time pergi ke pulau di Semenanjung Malaysia. Bergerak seawal 5.30am dari Setia Alam ke Mersing Jetty. Jarak sekitar 370km dengan masa perjalanan 4jam 30min. 10am sampai dekat Mersing Jetty, sempat bersarapan di gerai depan Jeti. Lupa la nama gerai. Minum kopi o ais (RM1.50) + nasi campur (RM7). Rating: 3.5⭐️ 11.30am bertolak ke Pulau Tioman menaiki feri Cataferry, harga one way RM80 (standard seat); return RM160. Tempoh perjalanan 1jam 15minit. Duduk ikut seat numb, da cabin compartment, bersih, aircond sejuk. Rating: 4⭐️ Kami telah book untuk menginap di Paya Beach SPA & Dive Resort selama 3 hari 2 malam. Pool view chalet with 2 queen bed, stay untuk 3 org. With that I sincerely will rate the services 3⭐️ only. For non diver, mandi pool, mandi laut, snorkeling, catching sunset, aktiviti pantai (bola tampar) dan lain² yang berkenaan. Apa² pun, pulau ini boleh dijadikan tempat utk sesekali keluar daripada kesibukan kota raya. Cuaca ketika di sini, ada panas ada hujan dan ada angin yg sederhana kencang ditambah dengan lautan agak bergelora. Day 3, check out, lunch di cafe dekat jetty. ambil ferry jam 2.30pm dan tiba di Mersing Jetty 5pm. Perjalanan agak lama sebab ferry akan singgah ke 2 lagi lokasi untuk turun dan naikkan penumpang. ✔️ Pulau Tioman - sebuah pulau bebas cukai yang terletak di pantai timur Semenanjung Malaysia. Tanpa membuat perbandingan yang ketara dengan mana² pulau lain di Malaysia, pulau ini agak menarik untuk staycation. Heaven’s In Malaysia

In my opinion, if you like long wide beaches fringed with coconut palm trees, with fine wire sand and aquamarine water, the closest you can get in Tioman is Juara beach. But you just cannot stay there. The Sandflies will eat you. Salang beach also has fine white sand, coconut trees and the most azure water in the island, but to many broken corals in the sand, too overbuilt and it has Sandflies and also little bugs in the water that bite you (but don't leave itchy bites like the Sandflies). The beach at Berjaya has yellowish coarse sand, but it is long, fringed with palm trees and probably less sand flies. Ayer Batang is a small beach with fine white sand and Sandflies, and lots of bugs in the water. I did not descend upon the Tunamaya beach, but there is no way I would pay their prices to be isolated at a very small beach that is over built, no matter how impressive their very marketed view of the twin peaks is from the island. The food overall is quite great, but avoid eating at the resorts. You will save money and enjoy better food if you eat at the local places located everywhere. Have a good trip and do patronise the local restaurant within a walking distance from the entrance to Berjaya, if you're going there. #tioman #island #pahang #berjaya #malaysia #heavensgate
