VIẾT SPACE
#vietnamtrip
Located in an ancient house over 200 years old, the shop still retains the original features of the house, adding more tables and chairs, decorating with some plants to create a friendly and warm coffee space.
The shop has two floors divided into small rooms with many seats, some rooms show a "prison" space. To highlight the special features of the shop, it will probably be the characteristic yellow wall color and familiar green wooden windows, a very "Hanoi" house.
The shop is still in the process of perfecting the space, the drink menu is also priced at 30k, you can come experience it with a joyful spirit and contribute more to the shop.

ADRENALINE
#vietnamtrip
The shop is located in a 3-storey house with two small courtyards, hidden in an alley so the space is quite comfortable and pleasant. Adrenaline is a coffee shop model combined with private dining, meaning you can gather with friends here and the shop will set up a separate menu to serve you. The owner explained to me in simple terms that you should consider the shop as a homestay, the only difference is that people cannot sleep there. I quite like the concept of the shop, it is very suitable for gathering to drink during the upcoming Tet holiday or simply want to enjoy private, cozy meals with your family, not as crowded as in a restaurant.
With the private dining model, you need to book at least 2 days in advance so that you can go to the market to prepare things. •During the day, the shop serves coffee, the menu has a few options. I tried a portion of tiramisu combined with espresso, which was quite good, and was given a snack with homemade sour cream, which was delicious.

LACH CAFE
#vietnamtrip
Nestled in an old apartment building in Ha Hoi neighborhood, you will have to "squeeze" to find the shop, but I believe this is a hidden gem in the heart of Hanoi. The shop has two floors, mostly open and airy, the indoor space is cozy and private, suitable for dating. The rooftop area on the 2nd floor organizes movie screenings for you in the evening, you can invite your friends or lover to go with you. I went to the cafe because it was very small, there were several seats. The drink menu is quite diverse, from tea to coffee. I tried mango tea with salty cream, xingtea, both were good, the tea was not too strong so it was easy to drink, rest assured it did not cause insomnia. Muoi Ha Hoi is a coffee dish combined with salty cream, I found this dish very attractive, the salty cream was harmonious, did not leave a bitter aftertaste, I like this dish the most. A small minus point is that the shop uses plastic straws. Hopefully next time I come back, they will change the choice of straws for customers to drink at the shop.

1_1 SPACE
#vietnamtrip
I really like the cafes in Truc Bach Lake area, it has a nice Chilean vibe, or if I could choose to live here, I would like to live in this area. 1+1 Space is a small, newly opened cafe with a rustic style. The space is small, not too many seats, the bar area takes up the largest area in the restaurant, but the cafe still gives me a comfortable feeling, suitable for sitting and chatting with friends or hanging out in a cafe alone to work. The cafe is decorated in dark, warm tones, the indoor space will be a bit dark but in return it brings a bit of mood to the cafe.
The drink menu is handwritten, although there are not too many options, it is still quite diverse, meeting the basic needs of customers. My friend ordered Matcha Yuzu and it was okay, but my kumquat tea was not very impressive, my tea today was a bit bitter.

TAKE A BREAK
#vietnamtrip
Recently, Thanh Cong area has opened many new and beautiful cafes, from the hidden chill vibe to the check-in photo shops with lovely spaces. Take A Break stands out with its popular facade, suitable for OOTD photos. The space inside is quite spacious with quite a few seats, I like the sofa corner closest to the glass door because it is soft, lying down and chatting with friends is also comfortable.
I find some other corners a bit narrow and stuffy, I stopped by in the morning and saw the floor was still dirty and had water, probably because the shop is being repaired and completed. I tried peach tea with milk cream but I was not really impressed, I read other reviews and saw that the space is mainly praised but the drinks are not very good. Hopefully the shop will fix it and stabilize the quality of drinks at the shop.

CỔ CAFE
#vietnamtrip
A chill garden cafe like this that I chose to visit on a rainy day. Passing through the arch of the marigolds (the flowers must be beautiful in summer) is a small, airy yard. The space inside the house is not very impressive to me because it is small, has few seats and is a bit dark. Therefore, the highlight of the shop is the cool green yard, mixed with grass, trees and flowers. On sunny or cool days, it will be very suitable for chatting with friends. I ordered a Thai Matcha, the taste is quite similar to Thai green milk tea but it is drunk hot. Nien carefully asked me if I needed to reduce the sweetness or not, so I drank it just right, those who do not have a sweet tooth can note it down with the staff.

8:AM COFFEE & ROASTERY
#vietnamtrip
An extremely chill coffee shop for those who like open, quiet spaces, suitable for gathering and chatting with friends on weekends. The shop is hidden deep in an alley, this alley has the right vibe of Hanoi, especially on gloomy days like today, just need to put three sets of tables and chairs and you will be able to sit and stare all morning. Stepping up to the second floor is a small yard and an indoor bar area. The second floor is suitable for those who go alone, like private space or those who need a high table to study.
In fact, the shop does not have many high tables but mostly low tables and chairs, targeting regular customers who sit at sidewalk cafes. Therefore, the shop is more suitable for sitting and chatting than studying/working. The shop gives me a very peaceful feeling, sitting all morning and time flies by 8am focuses mainly on coffee products, the coffee beans are also roasted by the shop itself. Personally, I think the price is reasonable. I ordered a pretty good salt coffee. It's been a long time since I've had a cup of delicious salt coffee and I'm satisfied with the shop.

WAITING FOR A PERSON
#vietnamtrip
The first of a series of cafes with beautiful Tet decorations for you to take photos in Ao Dai, you cannot miss Cho Mot Nguoi. What I like about Cho Mot Nguoi is that the shop "diligently" changes the concept and decor for each festive occasion of the year. After the rather viral Christmas concept, this time Cho Mot Nguoi brings a space with bright red spring colors, welcoming a new year full of peace and happiness.
The past few days have been rainy and windy in Hanoi, but now the weather is better, you guys prepare to wear Ao Dai and come to the shop to take photos for this Tet holiday, I believe that if there is more sunshine, the space will be even more sparkling. I have written about Cho Mot Nguoi a lot, now I just want to update new spaces for those who come to visit, in the near future I will go find more cafes with beautiful Tet decorations to share with everyone.

PHIU SPACE
#vietnamtrip
Come back to Phiu to join the eraser painting workshop as promised in the previous review. From now on, you don't have to go all the way to Bat Trang to experience it because Phiu has everything from a pottery wheel to pottery painting activities.
At Phiu, there are two options: Pottery Painting (painting on pottery) and From Clay to Creation (sculpting pottery). There are two types of painting on existing pottery: painting on fully fired pottery is done with acrylic paint, and what I chose was to use underglaze paint. After finishing painting, you will have to wait about 1-2 weeks for the product to be fired at Phiu's kiln.
Overall, this is a suitable activity for healing or bonding with friends that you should try. Phiu's space is super spacious with both outdoor and indoor seating, the space is invested in so everything from tables and chairs to drink setup is very neat.

MYSTIQUE PARFUM & CAFE
#vietnamtrip
Recently, Hanoi has opened many new shops and
every shop is so cool
Mystique is a coffee shop with a concept combined with a perfume showroom.
The space of the shop has two floors, which is quite spacious, but mainly for displaying perfumes. As for the seating, I don't think there are many and diverse. Because it is a showroom selling perfumes, the space is super fragrant, the water has a very pleasant scent. The shop chooses a dark color tone, a modern setup style, suitable for chatting with friends or meeting with partners
Surprisingly, the drinks here are really okela, I thought the shop would only focus on and sell perfumes, so I didn't expect much about the drinks, but unexpectedly they exceeded my expectations. I tried both coffee and houjicha, they were both good, the cookies that came with it were also delicious.

The Oriental Jade Hotel
#vietnamtrip
This hotel is a gem in Hanoi, offering luxury with a personal touch. Overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake and St. Joseph’s Cathedral, its location is perfect for sightseeing. The rooftop infinity pool and bar are must-visit spots, providing stunning views of the city. The East-meets-West decor adds a unique flair to the stylish rooms and dining areas. The on-site O'Spa Lotus delivers exceptional treatments, ensuring guests feel rejuvenated. With attentive service and world-class amenities, The Oriental Jade Hotel promises an unforgettable #Vietnamtrip experience.
CHEZ VU
#vietnamtrip
A brand new cafe & social bar that no one has reviewed yet that I just discovered. Chez Vu is located right on West Lake so the restaurant has a chill view. The space is dreamy and friendly, although the area is not too large but there are still quite a few seats. I think the outdoor seating is still better because the indoor space has tables and chairs a bit close together, suitable for large groups of friends to bond.
The restaurant gives me the vibe of wanting to hold another cocktail to sip on that weekend evening
The drink menu is quite basic, when the sound goes up everyone can order smoothies, which I think is cool. However, I think the quantity of one glass is a bit small. I think the vibe of the restaurant is more suitable for drinking cocktails.

NHA MINH HOME COFFEE & DESSERT BAR
#vietnamtrip
Nha Minh is a coffee shop with a minimalist, cute concept, targeting customers who need a space to chat or take pictures. The shop has two floors with the main beige tone, however, during the soft-opening period, the shop is only serving on the first floor, and after April 30, the shop will open the second floor. The space is airy, with lots of mirrors and importantly, the light is pretty, making for beautiful pictures.
The point that I highly appreciate for the shop is the staff, taking care of customers carefully and gently, I think this is always an important factor for customers to have a good experience at the shop :> I really hope the staff can maintain this "form". The menu is diverse in both drinks and cakes, giving you plenty of choices. I have a hot hit Coconut Matcha, you should drink it directly instead of using a straw to feel the matcha cream layer more clearly. Tiramisu is not to my taste.

BACK OF HOUSE
#vietnamtrip
I learned about Back Of House when there was a thread on Threads full of compliments "all the drinks at the shop are delicious" or even "message in advance to reserve a seat because you're afraid the shop will run out of tables". Today I visited the shop on a weekend morning and found it quite empty (only me), and I have to admit that the space is really nice, I believe that even if the shop is crowded, it will still maintain this quiet vibe.
The shop has 2 floors, the area is small but the seating is still set up quite comfortably, the 1st floor is for customers to sit and chat and enjoy coffee and the 2nd floor is for customers who want to sit and study/work. Each floor has a projection screen but the song "matches the mood" of the shop, I always give extra points to shops with playlists that match the space like Back of House ® This time I came to experience the purpose of trying the drinks to see if they are as delicious as everyone says, and indeed they are delicious, everyone. Today I went alone, and was able to try the Nutty Bana - a combination of banana, chocolate and oatside milk. Does anyone know about the Banoffee cake at Starbucks? Oh my gosh, this drink tastes exactly like that cake. The fragrant banana cream layer, combined with milk + rich chocolate, the layers of flavors are harmonious and the more you drink, the more attractive it becomes. I looked at the menu and saw some more potential dishes such as Matcha Coconut, Pandan Latte, I have to come back to try more. I suggest the restaurant come out with more new dishes for the summer, the restaurant has so much potential, I love it.

DEEPSII
#vietnamtrip
I think I'm about to become a die-hard fan of DeepSii. Whenever a new store opens, I'll be there to experience it. On days when I'm bored and don't know where to go, I'll come to DeepSii. This is the 6th location, the shop chose a location in the small, quiet Ho Giam street.
The new space has only one floor but is relatively spacious with a front yard and a cool indoor area.
The designs are still kept the same as other locations from the bar, tables and chairs to the words "Every good story starts with coffee" on the wall. I see that people often come to DeepSii to study/work/meet partners. This new location has an additional yard, so if you're looking for a place to gather with friends and have a good chat, you can come to this location.
Today I tried the Premium Matcha Latte to see if it was different from the regular Matcha Latte at DeepSii. Indeed, the quality of matcha is quite different. In addition to the brand's signature drinks, DeepSii also serves a variety of croffle and sweet and savory sandwiches for you to enjoy.

Ha Giang City
#vietnamtrip Hà Giang City, the northernmost provincial capital of Vietnam, is a charming gateway to the region’s rugged beauty and cultural diversity. It offers a tranquil escape, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills. While the city itself is small and quiet, it’s a starting point for the famous Hà Giang Loop, a breathtaking motorbike journey through towering limestone peaks, terraced rice fields, and winding mountain passes like the iconic Ma Pi Leng Pass. Nearby, visitors can explore the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark, and immerse themselves in the unique traditions of local ethnic groups. With its warm, welcoming locals and awe-inspiring scenery, Hà Giang City promises an unforgettable adventure for nature and culture enthusiasts alike.
NYNA COFFEE
#vietnamtrip
Confident as a first-time customer of Nyna, this is definitely the most spacious and luxurious establishment among all the previous establishments. Located in a location that couldn't be more central, Nyna Nguyen Khac Can impresses with its spacious area including both outdoor and indoor areas. Dividing the space like this helps customers come to the shop for many different purposes, if you need to find a space with high tables and chairs/many power outlets/good wifi to study/work, the indoor space will be for you.
And if you want to gather with friends to chat, the airy and cool outdoor area is very reasonable. I like the backyard area the most, in the hot summer, this place is also cool, the skylight area that receives natural light is also a big plus for me
Nyna's coffee products don't need to be said much anymore because they have become the shop's own brand.
This time the menu has been renewed with many drinks without coffee, or with fruit tea suitable for summer, I find it quite good.

VE NHA COFFEE
#vietnamtrip
The new coffee shop is hidden deep in a small alley, just hearing it makes you feel the peaceful and gentle vibe of the shop, right? :))) Ve Nha is a cozy space, a place to welcome friends to come and play, not simply a normal coffee shop. Even the house that the shop chose to set up is our type of house (I don't know the technical terms, the first and second floors are coffee shops, a corner of the second floor is separated into a perfume shop. The shop space is close and warm with soft sofas, large tables for studying or even a place to sit next to the bar. You can come to the shop to study, work or gather with friends, it's all fine.
Note down a new shop
Today, the cold brew that the shop doesn't have yet, so I quickly ordered Matcha Latte. I found it warm but a bit too much milk (for my taste), I still want to reduce the milk so that the flavor of Matcha won't be overwhelmed.

DOT CUP COFFEE
#vietnamtrip
A small but powerful coffee shop. At first glance, the space seems simple, with only a few chairs for customers to sit on. However, if you like a fancy coffee shop on the sidewalk, hanging out with friends, this place will probably suit your taste because the area chosen by the shop is also very chill and quiet. The shop focuses a lot on the quality of drinks, the menu is mainly coffee (besides, there are also many different types of tea for customers who cannot drink coffee to order). Please visit the shop to experience it.

SIMPLE PLEASURES
#vietnamtrip
A coffee shop that also combines a yoga space is very new, isn't it? Simple Pleasures is a brand new coffee shop on Tran Quoc Toan Street, the shop is so new that when I came, the shop was still in the process of setting up the decor of the space, transporting tables and chairs, etc. Choosing a gentle and pleasing beige color tone, the space of Simple Pleasures gives me the feeling that its name suggests - very comfortable.
The 1st & 2nd floors are coffee spaces, the 3rd & 4th floors are yoga spaces (requires advance registration). I like the way the shop sets up windows in the rooms to add natural light. The day I visited, the first floor was beautiful but too noisy, noisy like a market. The second floor was full of people working, so it was quiet and chill, which suited the vibe of the shop better. The drink menu is diverse, with a selection of healthy products. I tried Houjicha, which was quite good. I noticed that many people also ordered Matcha Latte.

TRẠM COFFEE & TEA
#vietnamtrip
Found another coffee shop that suits your taste, if you also like to sit in a sidewalk cafe, facing a street with few people passing by, then you have the same taste as me. I learned about Tram when I passed by, if you don't pay close attention, you might miss it because compared to the clothing store sign above, Tram's sign is more hidden. The space is small but has the advantage of a wide, airy sidewalk area.
Inside the bar area, there are a few seats where you can watch the Barista make the drink and chat about coffee. Son Tay street is already quiet, but on a weekend morning it is even more poetic, with less traffic and less noise and dust than the big streets. Most of the customers come here because they like the peace that this street brings, sitting all day without getting bored
*The drink menu at Tram focuses a lot on coffee, but besides that, there are creative cups of coffee for those who are not used to drinking a lot of coffee. I tried Tram Bap - a new combination of the bitterness of coffee and the richness of corn. When I brought it to my nose, the first thing I thought of was the cinema with signature popcorn.
In addition, Cold Brew Berry and Hibiscus berries are also two dishes that I think are quite good and you should try. The shop's Matcha Latte uses Oatside milk, suitable for those who have a sweet tooth (or you can reduce the sugar as you like).

TENDERNESS COFFEE & COCKTAIL BAR
#vietnamtrip
Another new coffee shop located in the super central area, right next to Hoan Kiem Lake. The facade looks small but the inside of the shop is very spacious and airy. Currently, Tenderness operates on 2 floors and in the near future there will be 4 floors. During the day, they serve coffee and in the evening they serve cocktails, so the shop sets up a separate bar (a big investment). The shop has a minimalist design but is still "eye-catching", every corner shows the care of the owner.
The first floor is favored with an open-plan design combined with a skylight to welcome all the natural light, so that the space is not too cold, the shop also combines green trees as a highlight. Both floors of the shop use comfortable sofas, if anyone is looking for a cafe with many sofas, please refer to this shop
I tried Matcha Viennese (75k) - a type of matcha latte combined with cream, but I found it quite sweet for my taste (although I also have a sweet tooth). Because of its central location and investment in space, the price of drinks will fluctuate around 65k - 75k.

HỒN COFFEE.
#vietnamtrip
At first glance, I was a bit hesitant because it felt like a middle-aged coffee shop, but you shouldn't judge anything by its appearance because the inside of the shop is cute and has a very youthful vibe. Although the space only has one floor, it is spacious, has many seats, and a wide frontage, so sitting outside is also comfortable.
The shop chooses a cozy beige color tone, setting up many lights to create a bright space, going for a coffee date or taking pictures is fine. The shop is also very suitable for studying and working because every table has an outlet.
*I see that the shop "invests" quite a lot in the beverage section, the shop's lG also shares many signature drinks that I have never heard of. Some drinks that Minh and his friends find delicious are Tra Ba Cot - inspired by the dish che ba cot, this is a combination of cold brewed jasmine tea and brown sugar ginger syrup, this cup of tea will have a clear ginger flavor, even though it is cold tea, it still brings a pleasant warm taste. Com non kem chuoi of Hen is also a suggestion for this summer - the sweet taste of chuoi combined with the rich aroma of sticky rice, I really like this combination and I am sure it will be a hot drink of the shop this summer. For those who want to drink coffee, the shop also has basic coffee cups, or if you want to be a little more unique, there is Bac xiu la pandan - this time the strong flavor of Phin coffee will be combined with the fatty, rich, sweet flavor of pandan leaves.
