Krabi: A Serene Escape
#beachtime
Krabi was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The limestone cliffs that surround the beaches give the area a dramatic yet serene atmosphere. I spent my days kayaking through mangrove forests, visiting the peaceful Railay Beach, and discovering small fishing villages where life moves at its own pace. Krabi is not just about its stunning natural beauty; it’s the culture of the local communities that makes it so special. The warmth of the people, the aroma of Thai food cooking on street corners, and the way time seems to slow down here—Krabi is all about living in the moment.

Silver Temple Chiang Mai: A Shimmering Slice of Peace
#getgoing2025
I wasn't expecting to be so blown away by the Silver Temple in Chiang Mai, but wow, it’s something special. The temple itself, covered in intricately detailed silver, looks otherworldly. There’s this stillness as you walk around—something about the reflective surfaces just makes the whole space feel tranquil and serene. I remember wandering through, admiring the craftsmanship, and just soaking up the peaceful vibe. The temple is a beautiful fusion of art and spirituality, and I couldn’t help but feel a deeper connection to Chiang Mai’s cultural roots as I explored it.

Ong Ang Walking Street: The Heartbeat of Bangkok
#getgoing2025
One of my favorite places to explore in Bangkok is Ong Ang Walking Street. It’s this cool little street lined with food stalls, quirky shops, and street arts. It’s where you go to get that authentic, no-frills Bangkok experience. You can try local street food (the satay is a must!), shop for souvenirs, or just people-watch as locals go about their day. There’s something so alive about it, and I can never resist popping by when I’m in the area. It’s one of those places that gives you a real sense of the city’s vibrant energy.

Bangkok Art and Culture Center: A Modern Oasis in the City
#getgoing2025
I don’t think Bangkok gets enough credit for its art scene, but the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) is definitely a hidden gem. I stumbled in there on a rainy day, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made in the city. The building itself is stunning, with lots of open space and light, and the exhibitions are a mix of contemporary art, performances, and cultural exhibits. The BACC gives you this glimpse into Thailand’s modern artistic culture, and you can really feel the creative energy in the air. Plus, there’s usually a cool café inside to relax after soaking in the art.

Wat Arun: Serenity in Bangkok
#getgoing2025
If you ever find yourself in Bangkok, do yourself a favor and wake up early to catch the sunrise at Wat Arun. I’ll be honest, I was a little groggy getting up before dawn, but the moment I stood by the river and saw that stunning temple light up with the first rays of sunlight, all the tiredness melted away. The intricate details on the temple’s spires glisten as the sun hits them, and there’s this calm atmosphere that just makes you appreciate the moment. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel a little more connected to the city’s history and culture, away from the usual tourist hustle.

Phuket Karen Beach Thailand
#beachtime
📍 Phuket | Karen Beach opens a wonderful day! Karen Beach (also known as Karon Beach) is located on the west coast of Phuket, Thailand, south of Patong Beach and north of Kata Beach. It is one of the three major beaches in Phuket.
The beach is not far from Patong Beach, about 20 kilometers away from Phuket town. The best travel time is from December to April of the following year, when the beach is flat and most suitable for swimming. May to October is the rainy season, so be careful when swimming and always pay attention to whether a red warning flag is inserted.
Transportation and tickets: It takes about 15 minutes by car from Patong Beach to reach Karen Beach. It takes about 45 minutes to get to Karen Beach by bus from Phuket Town. The bus departs every half hour and costs about 20 baht. The operating hours are from 7:00 to 18:00. Take a taxi directly from Phuket Airport to Karen Beach, which takes about an hour to drive and costs about 700 baht.
Recommended water activities:
Karen Beach offers a wide range of water entertainment options, including banana boats, speedboats, and umbrella dragging. Surfing: The waves at Karen Beach are high and very suitable for learning surfing. Beginners can practice on shallow waters under the guidance of a coach. Observation Deck: The Karen Observation Deck is one of the high points on Phuket Island, offering a panoramic view of the beautiful bays of Karen and Kata. Sunset: Watching the sunset at Karen Beach is an unforgettable experience, and you can choose to enjoy the sunset while tasting delicious food at restaurants.#trip #beachlife #familytrip #thailand

A Must-Visit Gem in Khao Yai National Park
Hidden within the lush expanse of Khao Yai National Park, Haew Narok Waterfall (น้ำตกเหวนรก) is a breathtaking destination that leaves visitors in awe of its natural beauty. As the tallest and most iconic waterfall in the park, it’s a must-visit for travelers who appreciate the raw power of nature.
The waterfall’s name, which translates to "Hell’s Abyss," might sound intimidating, but the site is nothing short of heavenly. Its three-tier cascade plunges a dramatic 150 meters, with the thunderous sound of the water echoing through the dense jungle. The surrounding greenery and mist-filled air create a serene atmosphere that makes the hike worth every step.
Getting to Haew Narok is an adventure in itself. The journey begins with a picturesque 1-kilometer trail that winds through the park’s vibrant forest. Along the way, you might encounter wildlife such as deer, monkeys, and even elephants, adding an element of thrill to the trek. The final section involves descending a steep staircase to reach a viewing platform, where the waterfall’s full majesty can be admired.

PLUTO Cafe Chiang Mai ✨
#newyearnewtrip #thailand #chiangmai #cafe
The food here was definitely one of the best in Chiang Mai for me 🤩
They had so many photo spots. The music played was soft R&B, i was so in love. The indoor area was chilly, I just wanted to nap there.
I love the architecture and the design of the whole cafe itself.
Also, the staff were so nice. My phone was out of battery and they helped me charge it 🥰.

Ying Yong Garden - Chiang Mai
#newyearnewtrip #thailand #chiangmai
This garden is definitely one of the most popular places in Chiang Mai.
I went there when it was raining so, it wasn’t ideal. Even so, the garden definitely was beautiful.
There is an entrance fee and you have to ride their truck again to get to the garden.
Also, my boyfriend asked me if the place had white as a dress code because many people were wearing white hahaha 🤣
PS. It’s cold in the winter 🥶

The Big Buddha in Phuket is an absolute must-visit! 🌟 This iconic landmark offers breathtaking views of Phuket's coastline 🌅 and a serene, spiritual vibe. 🙏 The towering white marble statue is awe-inspiring and perfect for photos 📸.
The walk up to the site is peaceful, surrounded by nature 🌿, but it can get hot 🥵, so bring water and sunscreen! 🧴 The atmosphere is calm, with the sound of bells and chants enhancing the experience. 🔔
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to admire the beauty of Phuket and reflect. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In search of perfect sunset beach...
Ao Nang Beach in Krabi, Thailand became one of my favorite spots because it is a perfect sunset beach.
Some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen were right there—colors in the sky were incredible, and the calm water made it even more magical. Everyday the colors of the sky were different and always stunning!
It’s a popular spot, so it can get a little crowded, but the atmosphere is still super laid-back. The beach itself is nice, with plenty of places to grab food and drinks nearby.
I really enjoyed just relaxing by the water, and stare into sunset sky!

Seychelles? No! Similan Islands 🇨🇷
Seychelles? No! This beautiful landscape is located in the Andaman Sea, Thailand.
Similan Islands are situated approximately 70 kilometres off the coast of Phang Nga Province in southern Thailand. You will need a boat ride of about 1 hour and a hd to get there. There are a lot of tour operators that organize tour from Phuket.
The islands are renowned for their clear blue waters, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine life. If you like snorkeling, it will worth the visit! You can see different type of fishes and also swim with turtles!

The Baristro Asian Style • คาเฟ่เชียงใหม่
I had a chance to go to Chiang Mai for a One Day Trip, so I had little time to travel. Today, I would like to recommend a cafe near the airport called “The Baristro Asian Style”, a Japanese-style Chiang Mai cafe.
The Baristro Asian Style is a newly opened cafe with a Japanese atmosphere and many photo spots. If you are a photography lover, you must not miss this place.
Of course, the cafe is in a Japanese style. The signature drink menu must be matcha green tea. Today, I ordered the Kiku No Shiro menu with lemon tart, total price 225 baht, which you can use a discount of 80 baht from the entrance fee.
If you come to Chiang Mai, you must not miss this place. It is very worthwhile, both the drinks, the desserts and the atmosphere.

Chiang Mai Night Market: A Feast for the Senses
#getgoing2025
The Chiang Mai Night Market was an experience I won’t soon forget. As soon as the sun began to set, the streets transformed into a vibrant marketplace, filled with the smell of sizzling street food and the sound of traditional Thai music. I tried everything from spicy sausage to sticky rice with mango, and each bite was better than the last. The market also offered beautiful handicrafts and textiles, many of which were made by local artisans. It wasn’t just shopping—it was a cultural experience, a celebration of Chiang Mai’s rich heritage and the kindness of its people.

Yaowarat Chinatown: A Feast for the Senses
#getgoing2025
Yaowarat Chinatown in Bangkok is a place where the streets come alive with colors, sounds, and smells. I spent an entire afternoon wandering through the vibrant markets, sampling street food at every turn. The dim sum, fresh seafood, and stir-fried noodles were beyond delicious, and I even tried some new dishes I’d never seen before. The energy here is contagious, and the rich Chinese heritage of the area is felt in every corner—from the red lanterns hanging above to the temples tucked away in side streets. Yaowarat isn’t just about food; it’s an immersion into a culture that has shaped Bangkok in profound ways.

Try out the local coffee bean at Away Coffee & Co.
Our favourite coffee place in Hatyai. There are options for bean types and roasting style. Great coffee, nice ambience, and many spots to take photo. Don’t forget to try their local coffee beans. There are pastries and cakes as well. You can sit outside or in the air-consitioned indoor seatings. You may buy some coffee beans to bring home and make your own. This branch at Nipatsongkrew Road has roadside parking for your convenience.

Authentic Thai food in a Rice Field🌾
Are you a fan of nature? Imagine eating in a rice field in the middle of Ayutthaya Ancient City! Rak Na Cafe Ayutthaya is a beautiful cafe and restaurant about 20 minutes by car from Ayutthaya Train Station.
Getting There - Rent a tuktuk or book a car using Grab from Ayutthaya. I recommend renting a tuktuk for a return trip as it may be difficult to find a car to return to the city. Remember to negotiate the price with your driver before the trip!
Attractions - There are plenty of photospots at Rak Na Cafe. From swings to bridges and a tiny train, there's a lot to do here after eating. Walking in the rice field is really relaxing!
Food & Restaurants - There's both a cafe and a restaurant on site. The cafe is self-service while the restaurant provides table service. The Thai food is authentic and reasonably priced. If you're only here for drinks, you can buy a package of two beverages and sit in one of the wooden Thai houses above water. On the day we went, 1 kg of grilled shrimp was 800 Baht. Don't miss out on their signature drink as well! It's a combination of Americano coffee and green tea.

Train ride to the Train city of Thailand!

Kanchanaburi is known as the city of trains because of its history of the famous Death Railway that's an hour and a half away from the city.
To reach Kanchanaburi, you need to take the train from Bangkok's Thonburi Station. There are only 2 timing in the morning and afternoon around 1.55pm. The ticket costs 100 baht and stops at various stations.
It takes around 2 and a half hours from Bangkok and its an old school train with open window and fan
Thailand feels like home
This is my seventh visit to Thailand, and without a doubt, Bangkok is the city I’ve visited most outside the Philippines. As a Filipino, I find many similarities between Thai and Filipino cultures, especially when it comes to food and traditions. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene landscapes of northern Thailand, I feel a deep connection to this country wherever I go. #thailand ##asia #travel
Temple Hopping in Chiang Mai: A Spiritual Journey
#magicalxmastrip
Temple hopping in Chiang Mai felt like a spiritual journey through time. Each temple, whether it was Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Wat Chedi Luang, had its own unique energy. The golden statues, intricate carvings, and peaceful courtyards all seemed to hold centuries of stories. I sat in quiet reflection at the top of Doi Suthep, overlooking the city, feeling a deep connection to the place. The serenity and the beauty of these temples offered a sense of peace I hadn’t expected. It’s a must-do for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the spiritual heart of Chiang Mai.

The Giant Swing in Bangkok stands tall and majestic, offering a fascinating glimpse into the city’s past. Elephant Sanctuary Chiang Mai: A Heartwarming Experience
#2024mapped
One of the most memorable experiences in Chiang Mai was visiting the Elephant Sanctuary. Here, I learned about the gentle giants who had been rescued from difficult circumstances. The sanctuary isn’t just a place to observe; it’s a chance to engage with the elephants in a respectful, ethical way. Feeding them bananas, bathing them in the river, and watching them roam freely in the forest felt like an honor. The love and care the staff showed for these magnificent creatures was palpable. It was a humbling experience, one that deepened my respect for these animals and the importance of ethical tourism.

Suriyon Old Town Samsen Bangkok
Cafe in #Samsen area that is very homey cafe feel
Suriyon Old Town 🏠✨🧡
It is a coffee shop where we can sit and chill comfortably.
I walked by this shop by chance because I wanted to go out and take some chill photos.
I stumbled upon this shop. It is a homey style shop that gives a warm feeling.
The highlight of this shop is probably the wide open door and window.
It is a bar where we can sit and sip coffee and take beautiful photos.
I would like to say that the price of drinks in this shop is very cute. Not expensive at all.
And the taste is very good. I ordered 2 menus.
Americano tastes very good and Thai Tea. I must say that the taste is just right!
Like, why did I just know about this great shop? Haha
