Traveling in a foreign country can sometimes lead to getting lost, especially when you don't speak the language. However, this shouldn't discourage you from doing it. You've got to look at your travels through an adventure lens. We took a taxi to this bamboo forest in Moganshan. Once we had spent the day hiking through the thick bamboo and observing the gorgeous scenery, we were ready to head back to our hotel. However, we couldn't find a taxi! Eventually, we made our way deeper into town where we were able to find a bus. We had no idea where this bus was going, but we got on it anyways. It's a continuation of our adventure! We got to see so much more on this bus than we would have if we had just found a taxi to take us back to the hotel. What could have been a disaster ended up a fun-filled afternoon with new friends, all because we chose to see our travel through an adventure lens. It located in Damyang province. We leave from Jeonju to there by spend 1 and half hour. It is the best place for you to visit in summer because summer in Korea is very hard but when you enter there it will give you a fresh air from the bamboo tree. Order to go inside we have to buy an entrance ticket. Inside you can see a waterfall a very tall place of the bamboo tree that you can shoot a nice photo. There are many sections such as meditation path, exhibition center and cultural village, including waterfall. I liked the way of meditation the most, it was very pleasant to walk through the bamboo trees. There are also traditional Korean houses where you can stay overnight. You can also enjoy the night with your family, play traditional Korean games or relax. Although 4 hours away from Seoul, this place is worth coming. If you’re a nature lover, you will love the atmosphere here! There’re many places to hiking, swimming in naturals pools and Rafting at the mountains. A great scape to the gorgeous green mountain, beautiful scenery, calm atmosphere and surrounded of bamboo sea. We’ve had a wonderful experience with the view once it’s located at the top of mountain and also we loved the infinity edge pool which was amazing! Some more information: - it’s quite hight to get the hotel, so pay attention on the way. - The pool is filled with spring water and the temperature is a bit low. - There’s no grocery near the hotel. Getting There - We used a private tour company from Shanghai to Moganshan Attractions - The bamboo forest and the snow mountain. Hotels - It was a day trip but there is quite a few home stays in the area for accommodation. Food & Restaurants - Local Chinese restaurants in the neighbourhood. A very great experience of being in the bamboo forest 🌳 . A great experience to admire the nature and the snow mountains. The tour was planned by a private travel agency. They treated us to a local Chinese meal 👌 and after that we proceeded to our hike. Purplr mountain in Ningbo is just 2hrs drive away from Shanghai. There are multiple hiking trails and springs and Waterfall on the trails. A beautiful and well maintained bamboo park, true to it's name. Its to my surprise that it also offers kids interaction & activity park like a mini funfair, such as rabbit park, which sometimes also attract adults too like me 😝 A great place for a little family day out over the weekend, the flowers and garden are very well kept and trimmed. There are 3 types of eateries offered which are the food court, a high class luxury restaurant with a view and a hanging bird's nest concept restaurant where you'll dine with a view of the luscious greens of 'Dusun Bamboo'.
