💛Cafe Money💛 in Lijiang Old Town, a coffee shop near the canal in the old town. Great atmosphere, friendly owner with a smile, recommending coffee and tea for us to try. The decor gives a relaxed vibe. You can sit by the river or outside to enjoy the river view. Prices are quite high, starting at 38 yuan. But if you want to try Yunnan coffee and enjoy the old town atmosphere, this is a recommended spot. 📍Lijiang Old Town

✨Wenlin Village✨ is a modernized village compared to the old town of Lijiang, but it still retains the Yunnan charm. The hotels here are quite good, with minimalistic decor. It's a fair distance from the old town, but you can walk there. If you're visiting Lijiang and want to explore multiple villages, this is another recommended village. Try switching to a minimalistic style for a change.

The snow-capped mountain view that you can enjoy all by yourself on the balcony. Who would still want to go out? Haha 🏔️ It's right on the edge of the ancient city, very convenient to go anywhere. It mainly features a peaceful environment in the midst of hustle and bustle 💯. The whole hotel is full of style. You can tell that it has been designed with great care ✨. When you come back tired from wandering around, it's really pleasant to leisurely have an afternoon tea and just zone out for a while. The little cakes are extremely delicate, with a craftsmanship that surpasses that of dessert shops 👍🏻. Especially worth mentioning is that breakfast is served until 11 o'clock 🥢. It's super rich. If visiting after 6:30 PM, be sure to navigate to the East Gate instead of the North Gate, as the latter closes after this time. We were thrilled to discover it stays open until 10 PM when we passed by after dinner, and we quickly booked our tickets on Trip.com. Perched at the highest point of Lion Hill Park, the tower offers panoramic views of Lijiang’s dazzling lights. Inside, captivating murals of Naxi mythology kept us thoroughly engaged, making this visit unforgettable.

This hidden gem is more than just a hotel—it's a private Naxi museum. The lobby and ground-floor museum left us in awe with their remarkable collections. The owner, Ah Hao, was incredibly hospitable, inviting us for tea and personally guiding us through his family's private museum. His detailed explanations about the Tea Horse Road made the visit even more enriching. Our room was exceptionally spacious, and the top-floor Snow Mountain view provided the perfect spot to unwind. With the added convenience of an elevator, this hotel exceeded all expectations. If I ever visit Lijiang again, this will undoubtedly be my first choice!

Black Dragon Pool is located in the city of Lijiang, next to Heilongtan National Park. 🚗 Transportation: If you are staying in downtown Lijiang or Lijiang Old Town, you can walk here as it is not very far. Alternatively, you can call a Didi. 🏞 The surrounding atmosphere features a lake in the front and the national park in the back. If you want to enter the national park, there is an entrance fee. We went to take photos in the evening before sunset, so we didn't enter the park. The atmosphere was very nice, and in some spots, you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a famous tourist attraction in Lijiang. Visitors to the city should not miss this place. Unfortunately, we visited on a cloudy day and had to wait for about 2 hours. The journey from the city bus station is approximately 60 km, and you can take a bus for just 40 yuan (excluding the 100 yuan park entrance fee). Once you arrive at the park, you can purchase a shuttle bus ticket for only 20 yuan and a cable car ticket for another 20 yuan.

We joined a local day tour that included horseback riding along the historic path, followed by kayaking at Lashihai. As someone who loves kayaking, I was excited, but the wind that day was exceptionally strong. Controlling the paddle became a challenge, and the wind pushed our kayak further and further away. No matter how hard I paddled, I found myself spinning in circles, unable to make any progress. It wasn’t until a staff member came to help that I finally managed to paddle back to the shore. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Despite Lashihai being a wetland park rather than a sea, making it feel more like kayaking on a lake, the outing was still enjoyable. Though the water wasn’t particularly clean, kayaking with a group of friends made it a memorable and fun adventure.

Originating in Mao'er Mountain in Xing'an county northeast of Guilin, the Li River winds its way southeast for about 437 km, passing through Guilin, Yangshuo, Pingle, Zhaoping and finally meets Xi River in Wulin. It boasts the largest and most beautiful scenic area in China and attracts thousands of visitors each year. The 83-km-long waterway from Guilin to Yangshuo is like a masterpiece. The landscape is decorated with rolling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves, leisurely boats and is lined with bamboo. Most people who love Guilin scenery will also have a crush on the fishing scene: poling on a little bamboo raft, the fisherman light the kerosene lamp with a cormorant standing next to him and are ready to catch the fish.
