A Magical Day at Tokyo Disneyland in Japan 🇯🇵⭐️
My trip to Japan was not complete without visiting Tokyo Disneyland!
BEFORE YOU VISIT:
🔸 Buy a ticket online or using the official Tokyo Disneyland app. On here you can also book fast passes and reserve dining experiences.
🔸 Arrive early ～ I experienced first hand just how crowded the park can get. There can be very long queues to enter the park and for the attractions inside.
🔸 Wear comfortable shoes! It’s going to be a long day of standing and walking around!
🚂 Disney in Harmony in Color! Parade ～ watching this parade was so magical and I was especially impressed with the organisation and respect of all guests! Everyone sits along the street to watch so not to block the view for anyone! The atmosphere is amazing, everyone waving and cheering for the characters as they pass by!
🐭 Meet all your favourite characters! I made time to go and meet Donald Duck and Daisy but I wish I went to find other characters!
🌟 Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade ～ This might be one of my favourite parades I’ve watched at a disney park. The lights and the floats were so beautifully designed. It was so much fun!
🎢 Attractions: Don’t miss out on the rides in the park. Some of my favourites are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain!

One Of The Best Theme Parks In The World
Tokyo Disney Sea visit!
Finally had the chance to visit after Covid! It was just as wonderful and magical as I remembered, plus with new additions like Beauty and The Beast, Fantasy Springs and more, you will definitely have so much more to see if you're visiting for the first time after Covid just like me! Everything is literally so perfect, amazing and innovative rides, wonderful shows and so much more.
My favourite was the new Frozen ride, featuring some amazing and stunning technology that will leave you shocked in the best way possible! The Rapunzel ride was also nothing short of breathtaking, and played out exactly like the film!
You have to visit the Tokyo Disney Resort during your visit, and both parks are still at top notch quality!

Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights is Tokyo Disneyland's long running, but frequently updated, nighttime parade. The parade features over 20 floats that are covered in millions of LED lights, a small army of performers, Disney and Pixar characters, and a new version of the classic "Baroque Hoedown" song. Dreamlights includes floats from many modern Disney/Pixar films, such as Frozen, Tangled, and Toy Story. As well as classics Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and many more. The parade ends with floats inspired by the "it's a small world" attraction, which tower over the parade route and are synced to the ride's song with a dazzling display of lights. Epic in terms of length, size, and beauty, Dreamlights is Disney's best nighttime parade ever, and is a must see.

Small World Tokyo Disneyland 🥳
One of my favorite rides at Tokyo Disneyland is "It's a Small World." This is an amazing place not only for kids but also for adults! It is the perfect ride when the weather is not so great outside because the queue is indoors and looks fabulous! The line moves fast and there are some adorable photo opportunities while you wait. Once you hop on your boat, you are taken on a voyage around the world.
Venture into Europe, Asia, Africa, Central America, and the islands of the South Pacific on the happiest cruise in Japan!

Cinderella's Castle in Tokyo Disneyland
Since I was a little girl, my favourite Disney Princess was Cinderella. Her story made me believe in fairytales, love, and dreams. I remembered a wish I made to visit Cinderella's Castle one day 🏰✨️
Then life happened, and I grew up. I put that wish at the back of my mind and eventhough by then, life tried to convince me that it won't be possible, I still had the desire to make the dream that little girl in me made come true.
And it finally happened at 38. We even met Cinderella, and I told her how much I loved her as a child, and she reached out to give me a hug! I legit teared up behind my shades. My 7 year old self would be so incredibly happy 💕
One of the biggest lessons I took from Cinderella -
No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true.
Fun Fact:
There are only 2 Cinderella's castles.
1. Walt Disneyworld in Florida.
2. Disneyland in Tokyo.

Magical Theme park to Visit!
The happiest place on Earth? It is definitely one of the places to visit! We took a break in between as it starts ro pour but once we came back, the queue got ALOT shorter and we realized that if you want to avoid the crowd, come when its about to close!
Prepare to wear proper footwear and bring a poncho along as there’s alot of walking and waiting and the poncho is for those wet rides (if its not raining). We were seated at the front for splash mountain and got drenched but we were prepared!

Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast is so awesome!
So good! Belle fans can't miss it!
I must say that Disney has put so much attention into the details, from the castle, characters, lighting, sound, and all the techniques are awesome!
In this ride, we will sit in a teacup that will take us to see the story from start to finish. The songs are so beautiful. The dancing scenes are so good. It's worth waiting in line for 100 minutes!
👉 Tips:
- It is recommended to book tickets in advance before traveling.
- You should check the number of people in the park to plan a day with fewer people so you don't have to wait in long lines.
- Download the Disney Resort app so you can see the queue time for each ride. And tell the time of the show too.
- For those who don't want to wait in long lines, you can buy Disney Premier Access from the app to use as a Fast Pass to enter the ride (Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast costs 2,000 yen).

At night time, a Disney show is incredible with its lightening and dancers. A day tour may not be enough for a big Disney fan. You should check out a couple days plan for more favorable pricing.

Tokyo Disneyland opened in 1983 and was the first Disneyland built outside of the United States. It is styled after the original two Disney parks and, not surprisingly, cleared its initial debt in a mere four years. The whole Japanese Disney shebang is actually owned and operated by The Oriental Land Company, a Japanese recreation company established in 1960. Oriental Land pays royalties to Disney for character licenses and such and hires and trains many of the workers in the park. It's more complicated than that.
I will make your Tokyo Disneyland trip more rewarding: 1) Make restaurant reservations before arriving if you want a nice sit-down meal, 2) Use the Fastpass option as soon as possible to ease your wait times, 3) Bring some of your own snacks to ease the burden on your wallet and to fend off frustrations about dietary restrictions, 4) Young kids will love Toontown and Fantasyland the most, 5) Stake your land claims early for prime seating along the parade route, and 6) Don't forget to make early reservations for any performances you may want to see. A bit of planning will go a long way for everyone. In the words of Mickey himself, "Hot diggity dog!"

Moments at Tokyo Disneyland, Japan
Tokyo Disney Resort was the main reason that I traveled from the Indonesia to Japan. The resort is home to two world-class theme parks: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. As I researched my trip, I was pleased to read numerous reviews that talked about how unique Tokyo DisneySea is for U.S. Disney park fans. But I was concerned to read reports that Tokyo Disneyland's rides and experiences were exactly the same as those at Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida, parks that I've already visited and that don’t require a transcontinental flight for me to experience again.
I worried that my visit to Tokyo Disneyland would be a disappointment, but my fears proved to be completely unfounded. I ended up enjoying my visit to Tokyo Disneyland.
As the first Disney park to open outside of the US, Tokyo Disneyland is spread over 115 acres located within the Tokyo Disney Resort. Celebrating all the wonder and magic of the world of Disney with classics such as Adventureland, Fantasyland, Westernland, Tomorrowland and more, along with all your favourite life-size characters, rides and entertainment, it's a fun filled and memorable experience for all ages.

Visiting both Tokyo Disneyland 🏰 & Tokyo DisneySea 🌋 in a single day is ambitious but possible with some planning. Here’s a strategy to maximize your time:
✅ Choose the right day-
Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Check the park hours in advance. Most importantly, avoid japan school holiday!!!
⛅️ Arrive early-
Aim to be at the gates before they open. This gives you a head start and allows you to experience popular attractions with shorter queues. Would like to encourage to visit Disneysea first. Arrive latest at 8:30am (gate opens at 9am), thn you may download the Disney resort app, get ready to bid for free DPA express pass which can save your time in Disneysea!
‼️Prioritize attractions-
Plan which rides and shows are your must-do's. Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea have different themes, so prioritize based on your interests.

Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea are adjacent but still require some travel time between them. Plan your route to minimize travel time. I would say, do read the map one day ahead like how to revise one day before exam 😆
👧🏻 Take advantage of single rider lines-
If available, single rider lines can significantly reduce wait times for some attractions.
🎒Pack efficiently-
Carry essentials like water, snacks, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes to keep your energy up throughout the day. You can definitely bring your own snacks if you’re worried of the high cost of snacks available in the parks.
📲 Utilize mobile apps-
Use the official Tokyo Disney Resort app for real-time updates on wait times, show schedules, and to manage FastPasses.

After 5pm, you may start entering Disneysea, travelling two parks in a day do help to cut off the cost too! You get to pay 50% lesser for the 2nd park. So here’s mainly what we enjoyed in Disneyland after
> Taking pictures with the significant Disney castle
> Play 1-2 rides
> Enjoying nighttime parade & sky full of colours (firework)
🎆 End with nighttime shows-
Both parks have spectacular nighttime shows (Electrical Parade Dreamlights, Fantasmic! & sky full of colours), so plan to end your day with one of these memorable experiences.

A Magical Day at Tokyo Disneyland 🏰✨🧚♀️
I visited Tokyo Disneyland in Jan 2024 with my little brother and it was an unforgettable experience for his as he has been a big fan of Mickey Mouse! 🐭
For convenience, we stayed at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay for a few nights. They have a free shuttle bus service that drops you off at the nearest station called Bayside Station 🚉 which is only a few stops to Tokyo Disneyland.
Some tips✨:
• Download the Tokyo Disney Resort App before going and link your park tickets when you’re there!
• Utilise the free priority pass for certain rides like Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion etc (note, it does run out so schedule your rides as early as possible!)
