- it is located only an hour away from Kuala Lumpur. you can drive or take a bus to get here. Buses are available from KL sentral.
- you can either go straight to the peak or park at the mid-hill, Awana Skycentral Car Park and take a cable car to Sky Avenue which is only 10minutes ride.

FAVOURITE RIDE:
1. Independence Day (photo 2): This is a must-ride! it is so unique, it’s like 3d/4d but you don’t need to wear a 3d glasses. The computer graphic is amazing.
2. Acorn Adventure (photo 3): it’s a roller coaster with beautiful highlands view! super fast, but there is no steep track however there’s a lot of corner, which might make your neck hurts 😅
IMPORTANT TIPS: download the Genting Skyworld app and register your theme park ticket in the app after you enter so you can do virtual queue for popular rides. You can choose time slot in Virtual Queue so it helps you cut some time queuing. you can reserve up to 5 rides at one time.
🏖️Ambiance/Facilities: A lot of food choice, price is decent for theme park. Surau is also available. Toilets are clean. they have paid locker service too but most were fully equipped. Souvenirs price varies, when we went there was a promotion, so theres a lot of cheap souvenirs.

Strolling Around Chin Swee Caves Temple Genting🇲🇾

For this trip is went to Genting Highlands with my mom and spent about 2days there, the most favorite, historical and instagrammable post in this area is Chin Swee Caves Temple.
The Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Genting Highlands. It was built by Lim Goh Tong, the founder of the Genting Highlands and completed in 1994. The temple is dedicated to Reverend Chin Swee (also known as Qingshui) a chinese Buddhist monk from the 9th century.
There are two ways to get to Chin Swee Temple, the easiest way to get to Chin Swee Temple is by taking the cable car from either Genting Highlands or Premium Outlet and getting off the Chin Swee Cave Temple Station.
On the other hand, for visitors taking private transportation, one can head straight to the entrance of the temple and park the vehicle at the side of the road.
Entrance Fee to Chin Swee Temple is FREE with opening hours from 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM (Daily).

Getting here:-
You may take grab / bus / self drive to JOHOR premium outlet. From Johor premium outlet you can take cable car to GentingHighland . Follow the sign to the cable car 🚠
There are many self service kiosk to purchase the cable car ticket, if you do not how to use no worries there are many counter too for you to purchase the tickets.
Although the Que is long but the turn over is fast, many cable car in one go. If you are genting member you are able to access to fast lane to skip the Q.
MAIN ATTRACTION :-
SKYWORLD - you may pre purchase the ticket at trip.com to avoid any delay in the Q to purchase ticket . One of the International Themepark that have multiple themed inside .
Overall experienced just okay only becuase if the ride maintainable , weather , Que you not able to play much . Suggest to go early during the opening time if you want to have full experience of the themepark.

Magical Temple above The Sky
Have you ever heard about a temple above the sky in Malaysia? If you don’t, please pay a visit to Chin Swee Temple in Genting, Malaysia. Genting is well known as a shopping destination and casino. But not so many people know that there’s a beautiful temple along the mountain. You can take a one day trip from Kuala Lumpur to Genting. Take a bus from KL Sentral and it will bring you to Genting in less than an hour. The bus will depart every 30 minutes. You have to take a cable car to reach the temple and don’t forget to wear a jacket as it’s more getting cold than in Kuala Lumpur. It’s free entrance, no wonder so many people come on weekends. There’s a giant Budha statue and pagoda that makes this temple more beautiful and even more magical when the mist is started appear. Although it's on the mountain, there's a famous coffee shop and restaurant as well.

Best moment ever with good weather. Skytropolis is the one of the indoor theme park that people can go whenever they go to Genting Highland.
The ticket is not too pricey. Its only Rm62 per person and you can play all ride and its unlimited. But mostly suitable for kids. Adult can play like four or five rides but its up to you. If you want to play the kids ride, just go on.

Viewing Natural Forest When Taking Skyway
Awana Skyway has been closed for quarterly maintenance from 3rd to 16th April 2023. Genting Skyway has to be operating from 7.00am till 11.00pm during the maintenance closure of Awana Skyway.
The Genting Skyway will be departure from the old building at Gothong Jaya.
Anyway, we were enjoyed the crisp mountain air of the Genting Highlands on a 15 minutes gondola cable car ride aboard the Genting SkyWay.
It costs RM10 for one way ticket, if you purchase back and forth , it will cost RM18.

Genting dream cruise, make ur dreams come true
Booked a consider cheap ticket for a stateroom(there is different range of room) if you got deep pocket and wana get VIP treatment go for palace suite.. from check in till check out VIP treatment!
Stateroom- with balcony. yes at least get the one with balcony get to enjoy your small little space, get to breath the natural seawater, hear the wave sound.
Will motion sickness? Yes I do a little at the beginning. But not all the time. Depending the speed of the cruise plus the weather I bet.
All the way mrt to Marian south pier. Walk about 10-15mins to the station. Check- in took about 2 hours (I’m impress by their mgmt of queuing system)
Went during off peak.. consider not so bad the crowd. During Ramadan period u don’t get to see much Muslim friend, a non school holiday, not much family with children. Mostly retiree and tourists from India (half of the ship)
Here I get to sleep so tight, maybe due to away from internet (choose not to subscribe the wifi). Yea able to survive without wifi!
Food is Non stop makan..dint have much expectation. But enjoy the moment, looking at the sea.. night time counting the stars..
Tips: zero expectations, prepare to queue. No judgment, no discrimination.

How to reduce waiting time at Genting Skyworlds
Newly opened in 2022, Genting Skyworlds is an outdoor amusement park in Genting Highlands. It is a huge theme park divided into 9 themed areas with more than 25 rides and attractions. It is also the first theme park that I have ever visited to employ the virtual queue system (VQ) in order to reduce ride waiting time.
Opened for 7 hours daily from 11 am to 6 pm, it is nearly impossible to experience every single ride during your visit. Hence is important to plan ahead in order to make the most of your visit.
First of all, make sure to download the Genting Skyworlds app and after you enter the park, you need to save the ticket in the app by scanning the QR code on your ticket. It is also possible to save the tickets of your friends and family under 'my group'.
You will be able to see the map of the park and the waiting time and status of each attraction on the app. You can make 3 complimentary VQ reservations with each ticket so it is better to do advanced reservations for the popular rides as the waiting time could be more than 30 minutes! Place reservation the moment you enter the park as the slots for popular rides are taken up very quickly. For some attractions VQ reservation is compulsory. Have fun and enjoy your visit!

Bought the pass for Ripley's, Zombie outbreak, 4D Trick, Jurassic,Infinity. Zombie outbreak is like haunted house but sadly without any human actors. went on a Tuesday but school holiday, surprisingly not crowded at all. Ripley's tallest man is missing!? Jurassic was fun for photo taking, infinity room was small and not so impressive. but overall good experience once in many years to go again. last i remembered i touched the fertility statue in Ripley's believe it or not and got my son 12yrs ago!#genting
