MUJI HOTEL
#japantrip
Rooms are cute, large and high quality. We loved the added touch of Muji pyjamas in the rooms. There were a few issues - the coffee machine in our room was missing a water tank so we couldn’t have any coffee, the air diffuser was broken (you get to pick the scent you want for it when you check in) and we didn’t have a Bluetooth speaker - despite all being described in the itinerary. Also, would be fantastic if rooms could have an iron and an ironing board.oberall this hotel good to stay
Meoto Iwa: A Sacred Symbol of Love and Harmony in Ise
#japantrip #ise
Visiting Meoto Iwa, the “Married Couple Rocks,” at Ise, Japan, was a truly serene and meaningful experience. Located along the coast near Futami Okitama Shrine, these two sacred rocks, connected by a shimenawa (a sacred rope), symbolize the union of husband and wife, as well as harmony and connection in relationships. The larger rock represents the husband, while the smaller one symbolizes the wife, and together they stand as a powerful testament to love and partnership. Watching the waves gently crash against the rocks, felt both calming and awe-inspiring. At the nearby shrine, we sought a love amulet to pray for blessings and lasting relationships. The combination of natural beauty and spiritual significance at Meoto Iwa made this visit truly memorable and heartwarming, leaving us feeling hopeful and connected to this sacred place.
