Escape the crowds
Plitvice Lakes National park is one of the most popular tourist sites in Croatia and there’s definitely good reason for that with the national splendour of the waterfalls crashing through the forest a must see sight for anyone visiting the country.
However, at the height of summer crowds at the lower end of the park can become very overwhelming and for those seeking a more tranquil experience that may seem hard to find.
There is an answer though, you should head towards the upper lakes where the same beautiful natural world is still there to inspire you, but you can enjoy it in a far more serene environment. #lakes #waterfalls #croatia

Falling Inlove with Shifen Waterfalls
Shifen has many things to offer, not only the old railway which is by the way is still functional, not just the colorful sky lanterns we'd write our wishes and prayers, there's alot! If you happen to go to Shifen, please do pass by the waterfalls. Glittery water pours down during sun down time, imagine that refraction of dusky yellow light on the water - makes it look even more elegant! The hanging bridge over the Keelung river towards the Shifen waterfall is also magnificent. Everything here is oldie but goldie. #voyagevibes #cityscapes #waterfalls
Charming gem in Luang Prabang
Kuang Si Waterfalls are located in Luang Prabang, Laos. The waterfalls are absolutely stunning, with multiple levels of water flowing into many pools. I was amazed by the largest waterfall, it was incredibly beautiful.
There are different ways to reach the waterfalls. In my case, I rented a motorbike, which allowed me to stop anywhere I wanted to take photos. You can also go by van or tuk-tuk.
The hike to the waterfalls is very easy and suitable for everyone. At the beginning of the trail, there is a bear sanctuary where you can see many bears relaxing in their habitat.
I recommend this activity to anyone visiting Luang Prabang!

Rainforest Wonders 💚
Baihualing Tropical Rainforest is one of the best natural places to visit in Hainan Island.
One of the main attractions of Baihualing is its stunning waterfalls. The spot is perfect to immerse yourself in nature surrounded by dense greenery and biodiversity.
There is also a shuttle speed skating trail which I absolutely love! After exploring nature, finishing with a burst of adrenaline and fun is the best thing to end the day.
Apart from these two attractions there are many other spots to explore. I highly recommend purchasing a ticket for the sightseeing bus because the area is really large.

🇰🇷 Seonimgyo Bridge 📍Jeju Island
Seonimgyo Bridge, also known as the "Seven Nymphs Bridge," is a beautiful and iconic bridge on Jeju Island, South Korea. The bridge is named after the legend of the seven nymphs associated with Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls. It crosses over Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls and is part of the larger Cheonjeyeon Falls complex. This elegant, red-painted steel arch bridge spans about 128 m and is elevated 78 m above the gorge, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. 🇰🇷 Stunning Three-tiered Waterfalls on Jeju Island
Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls is a stunning three-tiered waterfall located on Jeju Island in South Korea. Visiting all three waterfalls requires a short hike of about 2 km roundtrip. It took us about 50 minutes to complete the whole visit.
🌟 The 1st waterfall is located 200 meters from the entrance. Water typically only flows after heavy rainfall, cascading from a height of about 22 meters into a clear, deep pond.
🌟 The 2nd waterfall is about a 500-meter walk from the 1st waterfall. Here, the water falls another 30 meters into a small pool. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful of the three waterfalls.
🌟 The 3rd waterfall is another 1 km hike from the 2nd waterfall. It involves climbing a fair number of stairs, but the view is not as impressive as that of the 2nd waterfall. For those not physically fit, I think it is fine to skip the 3rd waterfall. This waterfall is about 21 meters high, and from here, the water flows into the ocean.
🌟 Tips for visiting:
There are no restrooms available inside the waterfall area, so it's better to use the restroom at the entrance before starting your visit.

Heartbroken, the man spent the rest of his life near the falls, longing for her return. His tears are said to contribute to the waterfall's flow today.

Amazing Iguazu Fall
Iguazu Falls, one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world, is a massive waterfall system located on the border between Argentina and Brazil. Comprising over 275 individual falls, Iguazu stretches for nearly 2.7 kilometers along the Iguazu River, creating a breathtaking and unforgettable sight. The most famous and dramatic of these is the Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo), a U-shaped, 80-meter-high chasm that marks the border between the two countries. The sheer power and volume of water plunging down this cliff creates a thunderous roar and a perpetual mist, often resulting in beautiful rainbows on sunny days.
The surrounding subtropical rainforest, part of the Iguazu National Park, adds to the falls' allure, providing a lush, green backdrop that is home to diverse wildlife, including toucans, monkeys, and jaguars. This rich biodiversity, combined with the grandeur of the falls, has earned the area recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visitors to Iguazu Falls can experience its majesty from various viewpoints on both the Argentine and Brazilian sides. The Argentine side offers extensive walkways that allow close-up encounters with the falls, while the Brazilian side provides panoramic vistas that showcase the full scope of this natural wonder. Boat tours are also available for those seeking an exhilarating ride into the heart of the falls.
Iguazu Falls is not just a destination for nature lovers but also a symbol of the raw, untamed beauty of the natural world, offering an awe-inspiring experience that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit.

Trip to Yi Chang 🇨🇳
It was a trip to China to visit The Three Gorges Dam. We took flight ✈️ to Yichang Sanxia Airport (YIH), which is the nearest airport to the Three Gorges Dam. It’s located about 40 km (25 miles) from the dam.
The Three Gorges Dam is the world's largest hydroelectric power station which is located on the Yangtze River in Hubei Province. Its construction began in 1994 and was completed in 2012. The dam was built primarily for flood control, electricity generation, and improving river navigation.
We visited there for Qinglong Waterfall which is located in the Three Gorges area. The Qinglong Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction with water cascading from a height of about 100 meters.
We also explored the Shennong Stream Waterfalls. It is accessible during a Yangtze River cruise, these waterfalls are a series of cascades that can be explored by small boat or on foot.
We went to Viewing Platforms where we got to take in panoramic views of the dam from various viewing platforms, especially the Tanzi Ridge viewing area.
If you were to visited there, I would also recommend you to cruise 🚢 the Yangtze River. Pass through the Qutang, Wu, and Xiling Gorges, which offer some of the most dramatic landscapes in China.
We also visited the Baidi City (White Emperor City). A historic site located at the entrance of the Qutang Gorge, known for its ancient temples and poetry inscriptions.
Waterfalls and all the surrounding areas were very beautiful. The best time to visit the waterfalls will be Spring (April-May) and Autumn (September-October). As it offers the best weather with fewer crowds.

An amazing experience to explore the stunning waterfalls at the Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi
#waterfalls#100WaysOfTravel
One of the most popular falls in the country, the Erawan Waterfalls are nestled in the Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi Province, West Thailand. There has 7 levels of waterfall, the distances between are from 10 metres up to 1,550 metres. It was quite easy hiking in the forest trails to reach the 7 waterfalls.
The park is generally quite busy every day and very busy during the week-end and public holidays. My local friend drove me there, it's about 70 km from the city centre and taken 1.15 hours drives. We came here in the early morning of weekday as there was not many visitors around. Be take noted that need to pay 20 Thb deposit for bringing water bottle and food, it could redeemed back if you have been brought back the empty water bottles, plastic bags & containers. That was helping out to keep a clean natural environment.
The waterfalls were absolutely stunning, I'm truly impressed by the scenic natural landscape along the trails. The water was clear & refreshing, perfect for swimming and taking cool photos. The most amazing experience is having the 'Fish Spa' at such natural environment.
▶Overall ratting: 4.9/5

Famous for a reason
#waterfalls
So, I had seen waterfalls but this was something else. The park is beautiful and offers plenty to do. If you’re planning on seeing the falls or doing a boat tour over the weekends, I’d highly recommend getting there as early as possible. The nearest parking lots will be all full if you're late and that would mean a considerable amount of walking and hassle of parking somewhere far. The falls are truly a spectacle. Park grounds are well kept and there are numerous staff wandering around with any questions you may have. They have overly priced dip n dots and $6 refreshment if you need a little something and didn’t pack anything. It's best to put on a comfortable pair of shoes. Oh and the sight in the evening is spectacular.

A peaceful spot
#waterfalls
The cheonjiyeon waterfall was a very relaxing trip. I had rented a scooter to explore several nature spots in Jeju. This is a very clean and well maintained waterfall. The vicinity is so clean. I remember walking from the parking spot. Might be like 5-10 minutes. It is a shaded and green path. A well landscaped surrounding. It puts you at ease with a sense of nature all around. There is a bus stop too and i remember some tourists coming from there. Yet, for a weekend it wasn't crowded at all. Now, the waterfall is not the biggest but for me this afternoon, this was so peaceful to stop at. I stayed there for half an hour before leaving. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Jeju.
