Visiting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in spring was an unforgettable experience. The desert was in full bloom, and the flowers were everywhere—vibrant colors scattered across the landscape. Locals usually go sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding here. This is hidden gem. Not expecting such a peaceful and beautiful environment. Even the ducks and animals are so comfortable to be around you, close! Really peaceful and good for family and specially for kids. I would recommend coming here in June-August so you can enjoy the water and BBQ . It’s also nice to walk around and see the beautiful trees and plants sway in the awesome weather! Visitors normally drop by the Folsom Heritage Old Town as well which is scenic spot and have a good meals at the restaurants there.

The drive gives you the very best views of the California coast. For a fee of $11 the drive takes you around the Monterey Peninsula. The fee allows you to go as often as you like on that day and we took full advantage of that. The scenery is truly spectacular. Follow the red dashed path and see stunning shorelines, birds, gold courses and phenomenal mansions. You do not want to rush this drive, take the time to stop and take it all in. #dayatthebeach I found my original beach in California. I love this beach very much! There is a very long coastline where you can swim. I walked for about fifteen minutes between the two entrances. The water is quite dry and there are few water plants. There are so many people basking in the sun by the sea. If you don't have a blanket, you can sit next to the stone. The parking lot above is also very large. Get off the bus and walk for a few minutes to the seaside. I must see the sea more often! There are many places where you can see Sequoias in California. Due to the weather and the fact that we had a 3yo kid with us, we went to Redwood national Park cause of its location and amenities. And it was a perfect choice for a day trip to see those majestic trees. It is an easy drive. There is a convenient parking lot and most pathways are well maintained, so it was possible to cross and walk around even on a rainy day. There were quite a few parents with small kids - most broadwalks were wide enough for a stroller. There is a cafe and a gift shoo at the park. 17 mile Drive probably is the most beautiful coastal Drive in California. I totally enjoyed the drive on a stormy rainy day. The scenery was fantastic, the ocean was wild and powerful. Most of the time we were in the car driving, hopping in and out to various lookouts and taking short walks. There are facilities like toilets at parking lots along the drive. But there aren't any places to buy snacks, so better to bring snacks and water. The power of nature is stunning and this drive is an absolute must while in Cali. San Gabriel peak is an easy day hike for those who's in love with mountains and hills surrounding California. There aren't that many people, specially when it's cold so make sure you know what are you doing. The hike is relevantly easy and will feed to anyone in moderately good shape. You will need good shoes, and better take hiking poles. Temperature drops drastically right after sunset, so make sure you have enough flares to keep yourself warm. Hendrys Beach in Santa Barbara is an easy escape from LA. The beach is so long and it's so easy to escape the crowds and be on your own. The scenery changes from massive rocks and pools to sandy beach. The best lookout - Douglas Family Preserve. The admission is free, and it's perfect if you come in with the dog. The reward for driving there a stunning views of the beach and greenery from above. Yosemite Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in North America, was a breathtaking sight as it cascaded down the granite cliffs in three sections. Bridalveil Fall, another iconic waterfall, greeted us right at the entrance of Yosemite Valley with its graceful flow, and we were also treated to views of Ribbon Fall, the tallest single-drop waterfall in the park. The beauty and grandeur of these waterfalls, visible from so many spots throughout the park, made our experience unforgettable, as we marveled at nature's power and splendor at every turn.

As the only elephant seal rookery in the world that is easily accessible, free, and open to the public year-round, it was an incredible opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures up close. Located just seven miles north of San Simeon on Highway 1, we didn’t need any reservations to enjoy the experience. The history of the rookery is remarkable; dating back to the 1700s, these seals were nearly hunted to extinction for their oil-rich blubber, which was used for lamps and lubrication. By the early 1900s, northern elephant seals were thought to be extinct, but thankfully, they were granted protected status in the U.S., allowing their population to recover. Watching the enormous elephant seals lying lazily on the beach was a sight to behold. Their massive bodies sprawled across the sand, occasionally flipping sand onto themselves to keep cool or let out a loud bellow, adding to the unique atmosphere. While the sight was captivating, we have to admit the smell was quite strong and at times, a bit unbearable. Nevertheless, the chance to observe these once-endangered creatures in their natural habitat made the experience truly worthwhile.

Spanning 759,620 acres and managed by the National Park Service, Yosemite was designated a World Heritage Site in 1984. It is internationally renowned for its granite cliffs, majestic waterfalls, crystal-clear streams, towering sequoia groves, pristine lakes, rugged mountains, expansive meadows, ancient glaciers, and rich biological diversity. We spent an entire day driving and exploring the park, yet it was evident that one day was simply not enough to cover all of its highlights. Yosemite National Park is truly immense, with every corner boasting colossal beauty. We just wish we had more time, so we could simply sit beneath the trees and gaze at the granite cliffs that seemed to cast a spell on us. It's no surprise that Yosemite has become one of the most sought-after destinations for travelers from around the world. Our time in Yosemite National Park was simply unforgettable, and we're already eager to return.

#california #lakes Finally, we visited Lake Tahoe, the largest lake in North America. The sheer size of the lake truly amazed us; it was immense and incredibly beautiful. Driving around Lake Tahoe took us hours to complete the trip. Every viewpoint around the lake was worth stopping at to enjoy the mesmerizing blue color of the lake. Though we wished to stop at each one, it would have consumed an entire day. Therefore, we decided to halt at Emerald Bay, a river bend resembling a circular bay with a small island at its center. This spot stood out among the other viewpoints for its remarkable beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, as it offered one of the most breathtaking views we've ever experienced in the United States. We highly recommend visiting Lake Tahoe if you're in California. However, be sure to set aside a full day, as the lake is truly vast and every minute spent there is worth it.

We flew to Las Vegas and rented a van for the journey, which was an incredibly exciting time. As we drove out of the bustling city of Las Vegas into the desert, it felt like we were embarking on an 'out of nowhere' adventure. As we looked around, a vast desert stretched to the edge of the sky. There was nothing but land, mountains, a road, and the expansive sky. We could clearly understand why it was named Death Valley. Despite its harsh conditions, we discovered beauty and charm in this endless desert. The vast orange-brown landscape made us realize just how small we are as humans. We spent an entire day exploring the desert, which was a great experience. Surviving the heat and enjoying the moment of a lifetime amidst the greatness of Death Valley's nature.

Yosemite has always been something so high on my bucket list but never thought I would have the chance to go, so on a road trip around California, Nevada and Utah I had to seize the chance. We used the annual national park pass which is around $80 to try and do as many parks as possible - it’s such a good investment as individual trips to the national parks cost around $45 so just two trips justifies the price. As with all national parks we showed the card then made a stop at the welcome center to grab maps, stickers and fridge magnets then headed into the park. The drive into the main area was stunning, and we were overwhelm so many times we had to pull over to take in our surroundings. We were there during very heavy snow and it honestly felt like a winter wonderland, the snow cover was so beautiful and the lack of other people really made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. The drive around the park is incredible, the highlights being the high altitude views of the valleys and the main features of the loop. The views you get of the valleys are honestly overwhelming, on a clear day you are able to get such wide views that enable you to see multiple peaks, waterfalls and valleys in one view. Then the loop itself allows you to drive in and around these key features, looking up at them from ground level to get a better perspective. The sheer volume of water in this park is fascinating, we headed to bridalveil fall which is the biggest waterfall I have ever seen. We were stunned by the level of water falling over it without a break - the sound of the water hitting the rocks and the effect of the spray frozen around the falls glistening was really mesmerism. It’s a much easier drive than Sequoia national park so definitely a good day trip for families with small Children, there is also a lot of open space for walking and hiking so it is a lot less challenging mobility wise than some of the other national parks. #nature #roadtrip #california #historicallandmarks #yosemite #nationalpark #usa #America

Summer trip in California, United States 🇺🇸. The weather is hot, but the view was stunning in the morning, afternoon and even nights! I’m in love 💕 After a few days in San Jose, we traveled to Santa Cruz by bus. They are very close to each other. We spent a lovely day in Santa Cruz. Especially in the theme park, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk 🏖️ The price of the ticket to play in the amusement park was very worth it! You can ride all the rides as many times as you want. They were all very fun😊 Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. From the heart-pounding adrenaline rush of the Giant Dipper to the family fun of Bulgy the Whale. Every single one of us was so happy. Our favorite rides are always the Loggers and Giant Dipper 🎢 As for loggers, you get to enjoy a panoramic ocean view from high above the park as you float around a watery track. Keep your eyes open for the final drop, and expect to get wet 💦 Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk 📍400 Beach St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, United States If you walk down the street, there are lots of seafood restaurants and the price are all affordable.
