Blooming Beauty: Spring Adventure in Anza-Borrego Desert
Visiting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in spring was an unforgettable experience. The desert was in full bloom, and the flowers were everywhere—vibrant colors scattered across the landscape. I could not even imagine that the desert can be so colorful and vivid with life.
A tip: bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The desert heat can be intense, even in spring, and there’s little shade on some trails.
One of my favorite moments was just sitting quietly and watching the desert come alive. The flowers, the birds, and the quiet made my day!

Discover the beauty of Folsom Lake Natoma in California
#travel #naturalwonders #Folsom #Lakenatoma #california #myitinerary #thingstodo #familytravel
Nestled in Sacramento County, this 500-acre recreational lake is a watersports hub and a great place for a day out. Locals usually go sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding here.
This is hidden gem. Not expecting such a peaceful and beautiful environment. Even the ducks and animals are so comfortable to be around you, close! Really peaceful and good for family and specially for kids. I would recommend coming here in June-August so you can enjoy the water and BBQ . It’s also nice to walk around and see the beautiful trees and plants sway in the awesome weather!
Visitors normally drop by the Folsom Heritage Old Town as well which is scenic spot and have a good meals at the restaurants there.
Discover the Splendid View of 17 miles drive at California
The drive gives you the very best views of the California coast. For a fee of $11 the drive takes you around the Monterey Peninsula. The fee allows you to go as often as you like on that day and we took full advantage of that. The scenery is truly spectacular.
Follow the red dashed path and see stunning shorelines, birds, gold courses and phenomenal mansions. You do not want to rush this drive, take the time to stop and take it all in. We caught the sunset at the Lone Cypress; AMAZING!!
Highly recommend and would do this drive again. High season be prepared for lots of traffic.

One of the beautiful beach I like ❤️
#dayatthebeach
I found my original beach in California.
I love this beach very much!
There is a very long coastline where you can swim. I walked for about fifteen minutes between the two entrances.
The water is quite dry and there are few water plants.
There are so many people basking in the sun by the sea.
If you don't have a blanket, you can sit next to the stone. The parking lot above is also very large.
Get off the bus and walk for a few minutes to the seaside. I must see the sea more often!

Easy way to see sequoias
There are many places where you can see Sequoias in California. Due to the weather and the fact that we had a 3yo kid with us, we went to Redwood national Park cause of its location and amenities. And it was a perfect choice for a day trip to see those majestic trees.
It is an easy drive. There is a convenient parking lot and most pathways are well maintained, so it was possible to cross and walk around even on a rainy day. There were quite a few parents with small kids - most broadwalks were wide enough for a stroller.
There is a cafe and a gift shoo at the park. But the waiting line to get some coffee was very long, so I would advise to bring snacks and beverages to save some time.

One of the most scenic drives in California
17 mile Drive probably is the most beautiful coastal Drive in California. I totally enjoyed the drive on a stormy rainy day. The scenery was fantastic, the ocean was wild and powerful. Most of the time we were in the car driving, hopping in and out to various lookouts and taking short walks.
There are facilities like toilets at parking lots along the drive. But there aren't any places to buy snacks, so better to bring snacks and water.
The power of nature is stunning and this drive is an absolute must while in Cali. Additional bonus to all the stunning landscapes was a colony of seals chilling and swimming in the rocks, those guys are super cute!

Easy day hike for Cali lovers
San Gabriel peak is an easy day hike for those who's in love with mountains and hills surrounding California.
There aren't that many people, specially when it's cold so make sure you know what are you doing.
The hike is relevantly easy and will feed to anyone in moderately good shape. You will need good shoes, and better take hiking poles.
Temperature drops drastically right after sunset, so make sure you have enough flares to keep yourself warm. A thermos with hot tea was the best thing to bring to the top.
#goingplaces #usa #100waysoftravel #california
Perfect easy day trip from LA
Hendrys Beach in Santa Barbara is an easy escape from LA. The beach is so long and it's so easy to escape the crowds and be on your own. The scenery changes from massive rocks and pools to sandy beach.
The best lookout - Douglas Family Preserve. The admission is free, and it's perfect if you come in with the dog. The reward for driving there a stunning views of the beach and greenery from above.
There are a few restaurants right at the beach, so it's an easy option to watch sunset and have a drink after a long stroll along the beach.

Caught the tail of 395 autumn days 🍁
#fallcolors
Caught the tail of 395 autumn days
Before leaving, I went to California to roughly search the fall color map and knew
395 leaves at high altitude have fallen, so I only plan to go to a few depressions and lakes.
I didn't expect that there were no leaves in the depression.
I didn't know until | chatted with the local uncle that the wind cooled down on Friday night.
The leaves have been blown off.
So don't go there anymore. There are no leaves to see in 395.
I recommend a few places I went to. They are very beautiful without leaves. When there are leaves, they should be "beautiful"
1. Bishop E.
Bishop Information Center.
690 N Main St, Bishop, CA 93514
The town is very beautiful, with complete accommodation and food, EV charging piles, and supply adjustment is a must
Two. Convict Lakel
Convict, Lake Overlook, Mammoth Lakes, CA.
93546
The lake surrounded by mountains is small but exquisite: the lake and mountains, and a golden poplar forest that has not faded.3. Mono Lake.
Mono Lake Trail, Lee Vining, CA 93541
This lake is so huge that there are several trails to walk through. We saw a golden forest from a high place, and on the map, it was a stream flowing into mono lake.
You can drive to Lee Vining creek water crossing, picture
Picnic Grounds Rd, Lee Vining, CA 93541
Four. June Lake.
374 Pine Cliff Rd Bishop, CA 93514 Pine Cliff Rd, Bishop, CA 93514
There are many cabins to stay here.
The lake is a loOp, and there are many white-skinned poplars along the lake. We went late, and all the leaves fell. When you can only make up for the peak, it must be beautiful here.
It's too late this year. we can only Tight again next year.

Visiting Solvang felt like stepping into a charming European village, right along the West Coast. This Danish-inspired town stole our hearts with its picturesque windmills, half-timbered buildings, and cobblestone streets. Walking through Solvang, we admired the quaint architecture, cozy bakeries offering fresh Danish pastries, and unique boutique shops. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, making it a perfect escape from the usual city bustle. We enjoyed exploring its museums, sampling wine at local vineyards, and simply soaking in the village’s warm and cheerful vibe. Solvang truly felt like a little piece of Europe in California.
Lost in the giant Sequoia forest 🌳

Here are some top tips to make your visit to this incredible park even more special:
🚗 Drive through Tunnel Log: Don’t miss the chance to snap a memorable picture of your car driving through the giant sequoia tree that fell over more than 100 years ago! (📍Crescent Meadow Rd, Sequoia National Park, CA 93262, United States)

Majestic Waterfalls of Yosemite: A Scenic Journey Through Nature's Wonders
#waterfall #100waysoftravel #nationalpark #yosemite #yosemitefalls #california
During our visit to Yosemite National Park, we were absolutely amazed by the towering waterfalls, which could be seen from many places without needing to hike.
Yosemite Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in North America, was a breathtaking sight as it cascaded down the granite cliffs in three sections.
Bridalveil Fall, another iconic waterfall, greeted us right at the entrance of Yosemite Valley with its graceful flow, and we were also treated to views of Ribbon Fall, the tallest single-drop waterfall in the park.
The beauty and grandeur of these waterfalls, visible from so many spots throughout the park, made our experience unforgettable, as we marveled at nature's power and splendor at every turn.
Up Close with Giants: A Memorable Visit to the Elephant Seal Rookery at Piedras Blancas
#animalcontact #100waysoftravel #seal #giant #california #californialife
Our visit to the Elephant Seal Viewing area at the Piedras Blancas Rookery was both fascinating and unforgettable. As the only elephant seal rookery in the world that is easily accessible, free, and open to the public year-round, it was an incredible opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures up close.
Located just seven miles north of San Simeon on Highway 1, we didn’t need any reservations to enjoy the experience. The history of the rookery is remarkable; dating back to the 1700s, these seals were nearly hunted to extinction for their oil-rich blubber, which was used for lamps and lubrication. By the early 1900s, northern elephant seals were thought to be extinct, but thankfully, they were granted protected status in the U.S., allowing their population to recover.
Watching the enormous elephant seals lying lazily on the beach was a sight to behold. Their massive bodies sprawled across the sand, occasionally flipping sand onto themselves to keep cool or let out a loud bellow, adding to the unique atmosphere. While the sight was captivating, we have to admit the smell was quite strong and at times, a bit unbearable. Nevertheless, the chance to observe these once-endangered creatures in their natural habitat made the experience truly worthwhile.

A Magical Day at Disneyland Resort 🌟
Disneyland Resort is located in Anaheim near Los Angeles in the USA. It was the first Disney theme park in the world, opening in 1955. Here are some tips to have the best visit!
🏰 First, take photos with the castle. Yes it is the smallest castle in any Disney park, but it might be the most iconic. Sleeping Beauty’s Castle can’t be missed as you walk down Main Street U.S.A. into the park.
🗻 Ride the Matterhorn Bobsleds! It’s definitely one of my favourite attractions in the park, and I love that it’s been here for so many years!
🛸 Tomorrowland is my favourite area in the park. Firstly, Space Mountain never disappoints and then we have Buzz Lightyear’s Astroblasters which is so much fun.
🛶 Adventureland is often overlooked but it has the iconic Jungle Cruise! Indiana Jones Adventure is also an incredible ride and this area also has great dining options.
👑 Fantasyland ~ this area has so many family friendly rides including Peter Pan’s flight and the carousel. Here you can also find the Royal Hall which has meet and greets for the princesses.
🐭 Finally, don’t forget to watch the parade! Download the official Disneyland Resort app to find out times and locations.

This is one of the most scenic roads we have ever traveled. It felt like we were on Mars or another planet, unlike Earth.

Perfect Spot For The Hollywood Sign
#usatravel #california
When we traveled to Los Angeles, California, a must-visit spot on our list was the Hollywood Sign, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
Located on the southern slope of Mount Lee in the Santa Monica Mountains, this iconic symbol of the entertainment industry represents the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and has a rich history that reflects the evolution of Los Angeles itself.
The Hollywood Sign is synonymous with the global entertainment industry. It signifies the hopes and dreams of countless individuals who come to Hollywood seeking fame and fortune. Each year, millions of tourists flock to Los Angeles to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood Sign. It is a must-see destination for visitors looking to experience a piece of cinematic history, and we were among those.
We got lost on the roads of the hill, trying to find a spot for a nice photograph that would prove we had visited the Hollywood Sign. After an hour, we found it! A nice hill with an incredible view of the Hollywood Sign as a background, within walking distance from Lake Hollywood Park.
We highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to this landmark. Snap a shot here, and you will not be disappointed.
Colossal Beauty of Yosemite National Park
#worldheritagesite #california
We had the opportunity to visit one of the most magnificent National Parks in the United States: Yosemite National Park, located in the state of California. Spanning 759,620 acres and managed by the National Park Service, Yosemite was designated a World Heritage Site in 1984. It is internationally renowned for its granite cliffs, majestic waterfalls, crystal-clear streams, towering sequoia groves, pristine lakes, rugged mountains, expansive meadows, ancient glaciers, and rich biological diversity.
We spent an entire day driving and exploring the park, yet it was evident that one day was simply not enough to cover all of its highlights. Yosemite National Park is truly immense, with every corner boasting colossal beauty.
We just wish we had more time, so we could simply sit beneath the trees and gaze at the granite cliffs that seemed to cast a spell on us.
It's no surprise that Yosemite has become one of the most sought-after destinations for travelers from around the world. Our time in Yosemite National Park was simply unforgettable, and we're already eager to return.
Beauty of the Blue @ Lake Tahoe
#california #lakes
Finally, we visited Lake Tahoe, the largest lake in North America. The sheer size of the lake truly amazed us; it was immense and incredibly beautiful.
Driving around Lake Tahoe took us hours to complete the trip. Every viewpoint around the lake was worth stopping at to enjoy the mesmerizing blue color of the lake. Though we wished to stop at each one, it would have consumed an entire day. Therefore, we decided to halt at Emerald Bay, a river bend resembling a circular bay with a small island at its center. This spot stood out among the other viewpoints for its remarkable beauty.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, as it offered one of the most breathtaking views we've ever experienced in the United States.
We highly recommend visiting Lake Tahoe if you're in California. However, be sure to set aside a full day, as the lake is truly vast and every minute spent there is worth it.
Out of Nowhere Adventure @ Death Valley
#roadtrip #california #lasvegas
We visited Death Valley during the summer, a time when the heat was intense but perfect for a road trip like this.
We flew to Las Vegas and rented a van for the journey, which was an incredibly exciting time. As we drove out of the bustling city of Las Vegas into the desert, it felt like we were embarking on an 'out of nowhere' adventure.
As we looked around, a vast desert stretched to the edge of the sky. There was nothing but land, mountains, a road, and the expansive sky. We could clearly understand why it was named Death Valley.
Despite its harsh conditions, we discovered beauty and charm in this endless desert. The vast orange-brown landscape made us realize just how small we are as humans.
We spent an entire day exploring the desert, which was a great experience. Surviving the heat and enjoying the moment of a lifetime amidst the greatness of Death Valley's nature.
Yosemite, the overwhelming beauty of nature
Yosemite has always been something so high on my bucket list but never thought I would have the chance to go, so on a road trip around California, Nevada and Utah I had to seize the chance. We used the annual national park pass which is around $80 to try and do as many parks as possible - it’s such a good investment as individual trips to the national parks cost around $45 so just two trips justifies the price.
As with all national parks we showed the card then made a stop at the welcome center to grab maps, stickers and fridge magnets then headed into the park. The drive into the main area was stunning, and we were overwhelm so many times we had to pull over to take in our surroundings. We were there during very heavy snow and it honestly felt like a winter wonderland, the snow cover was so beautiful and the lack of other people really made us feel like we were in a fairy tale.
The drive around the park is incredible, the highlights being the high altitude views of the valleys and the main features of the loop. The views you get of the valleys are honestly overwhelming, on a clear day you are able to get such wide views that enable you to see multiple peaks, waterfalls and valleys in one view. Then the loop itself allows you to drive in and around these key features, looking up at them from ground level to get a better perspective.
The sheer volume of water in this park is fascinating, we headed to bridalveil fall which is the biggest waterfall I have ever seen. We were stunned by the level of water falling over it without a break - the sound of the water hitting the rocks and the effect of the spray frozen around the falls glistening was really mesmerism.
It’s a much easier drive than Sequoia national park so definitely a good day trip for families with small Children, there is also a lot of open space for walking and hiking so it is a lot less challenging mobility wise than some of the other national parks.

California 🇺🇸 Summer Trip ☀️
Summer trip in California, United States 🇺🇸. The weather is hot, but the view was stunning in the morning, afternoon and even nights! I’m in love 💕
After a few days in San Jose, we traveled to Santa Cruz by bus. They are very close to each other. We spent a lovely day in Santa Cruz. Especially in the theme park, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk 🏖️
The price of the ticket to play in the amusement park was very worth it! You can ride all the rides as many times as you want. They were all very fun😊
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. From the heart-pounding adrenaline rush of the Giant Dipper to the family fun of Bulgy the Whale. Every single one of us was so happy. Our favorite rides are always the Loggers and Giant Dipper 🎢 As for loggers, you get to enjoy a panoramic ocean view from high above the park as you float around a watery track. Keep your eyes open for the final drop, and expect to get wet 💦

Nostalgic Beach Vibes At Redondo Beach
Redondo beach is one of the older beachside towns in Los Angeles along with Manhattan beach and Hermosa beach.
Redondo has a long clean sand beach with waters calm enough for swimming. It has ample parking and is a great spot for families.
It has a wharf built on wooden stilts in the water which has numerous games arcades, restaurants and cafes. it has old school vibes with diners, old cars and retro arcade games.

A colourful fisherman’s village in LA
Fisherman’s village is a cute shopping area and boating dock that is located in Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles. It is built in the New England style and dates back to 1967, it has recently been made famous as the location for the ‘banana stand’ in the netflix comedy Arrested Development.
It is a cute little area with lots of different colour buildings built around a lighthouse, it offers sweeping views of the marina and various food and drink options. There are a few sit down restaurants with views or you can get some take away snacks and use some of the public seating areas.
There is often live music in the area or it’s a great place to watch the various boats coming in and out of the marina. Depending on the season you can see the 4th of July fireworks, boating parades or the various rowing teams from LA universities practicing in the water.

The Infamous Santa Monica, Los Angeles
Santa Monica is an iconic beachside town in Los Angeles, California. It is famous for being the setting for countless films, tv shows and music videos - you will definitely recognize the ferris wheel at the end of the pier.
Santa Monica has plenty of shops and restaurants and a cute little old town, it has a more relaxed vibe compared to other shopping areas of Los Angeles and is a lot more pedestrianized. Moving towards the coast Santa Monica has one of the longest and cleanest beaches in the county and the water is calm enough for swimming and relaxing. If you look up the coast you can see as far as Malibu to the north and the Airport to the south.
There is also the famous pier which is the western start / terminus of the famous route 66, you will see the road signs along the end of the pier. There are lots of amusements, cafes and snack shops and of course the ferris wheel!
It’s a good spot to head to at different times of the day, it’s quieter in the morning for sure but the night with everything lit up makes it so special so worth checking out both times to feel the different vibes.

A fascinating glimpse at the origins of LA
El Pueblo de Los Angeles historical monument is the oldest part of the city of Los Angeles and was it’s heart during Mexican, Spanish and early American rule. Directly opposite Union Station in downtown the area is a state monument and designated historic place. The area is made up of large plazas surrounded by buildings dating back to 1800, there are small streets radiating off them selling all kinds of food, gifts and clothes. There are beautiful flowers, trees and cactai lining the streets and it makes you feel like you’re a whole world away from the bustle of a modern American city.
It’s a great place to take your time and explore the details of these buildings, they are well preserved and many have pieces of art or murals that give fascinating details of the areas history.
It is one of my favourite places for food in Los Angeles with the ability to mix snacks from street vendors with flavorful meals from the many cafes and restaurants on the streets.
If you come you have to try the churros and snowcones, the best I’ve had by far!
