We have been there for brunch today and I love it! I got a special out of the menu: tostada with mató cheese and dried tomatoes special new recipe from the chef. It’s amazing. Tastes like summer time. Super fresh and savory. The breakfast bowl was super nice, all with an amazing smoothie with nuts and banana. Almond smoothie lovely, as was the tomato salad. Eggs done perfectly. Good coffee. Ordering with a person is so much more hospitable and faster than using the digital menu. Great service too, strongly recommend #hollandtrip #holidays #thingstodo

It was like entering in to paradise. The very warm welcome of the staff and the beautiful lobby, were just amazing. The room was big enough for 3 Adults and the facilities like swimming pool and fitness centre very nice, quiet and clean.At the fitness centre the personal coach Fernando Sumal was so kind to help us and gave us good tips for our training. In the evening we had snacks the Bar restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff during check-in and check-out was just lovely to us.We were able to do a late check out, as our flight was in the evening. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, though some areas of the hotel are a little worn and could use an update. However that shouldn’t detract from an enjoyable stay. The place has beach access and a playground area which is nice. Few activities were there such as pool table, chess, table tennis and carom. Swimming pool area was good but small in size and 1.2m deep. The sea view from our room was stunning. Service was excellent, with a special mention to Sampath from Concierge who very kindly helped us pack/box some of our oversized fragile souvenirs. #myitinerary Florence, one of Italy's most beloved cities is a favourite stop of mine whenever I'm headed to Tuscany. It makes for an excellent weekend stay. I do a lot of walking and it perfectly suits the size of Florence. This is also the reason why i prefer staying in the city center. Along with a great access to everything, it's also walkable distances. While the city is very old, in the architecture and cultural heritage sense. It must be noted that it is also quite modern with some very high end luxury stores in the vicinity. Outside of tourist areas you'd find these things alleys that have their own charm. You've got numerous museums, shopping, walks, gelatto to eat everywhere and plenty of general architecture gazing. Couple that with some great dining options, and you're sorted for the nights. Now, Florence can get very touristy which is why i recommend avoiding peak season. And by avoiding peak season you're likely to avoid a lot of tourists too. The Galleria dell'Accademia is the other must see for most people. Here, you'll find one of the most famous sculptures in mankind's history, The David. For both this and the Uffizi, I'd pretty much insist you buy tickets online ahead of time. Ticketing can be complete zoos here, with such high demand. Do yourself a favor and buy them ahead of time to skip some of the lines. Further, there is another small museum dedicated to da Vinci and his works. Here's my itinerary that packs a punch for 2 days in Florence:- DAY - 1 Morning Accademia — with a reservation Museum of San Marco (art by Fra Angelico) Afternoon Explore Mercato Centrale and have lunch nearby Tour Church of Santa Maria Novella for its art Stroll/relax or tour Palazzo Vecchio Evening Stroll through the heart of the old town. From the easiest, and nearest venues in neighbouring Johor Baru to Melaka or even KL sometimes. We've also done places in Thailand and Indonesia. But a weekend getaway that scores on everything and is amongst the most comfortable option is the island city of Penang. It is so versatile in it's offerings. From beaches to nature hikes to islands nearby to culture, herritage and a charming food scene. Penang is so comfortable both in terms of stay and on the pocket. We never fall short of things to do and almost always stuff ourselves with too much food. It is amongst the friendliest of places you could find in south east Asia. As mentioned the food scene is top notch. Flights from Singapore are cheap in comparison and it doesn't take too long. The interior is very nice. The place is very clean and have nice smell (lavender). It's easy to find food there as there are many restaurants and stores downstairs. The owner also already prepared slippers and heaters also work well for both bathroom. All in all, it's very recommended. My parents are very satisfied. Getting There - I stayed in a family run inn close by which made it a lot easier to take a DiDi to Disney early that morning. From the inn I could have also taken Pudong 70 Bus that would have taken me directly there. Attractions - So many different rides to choose from and so many characters to see along the way. Hotels - You can stay at the 2 designated Disney Hotel if you have the money to or if you’re on a budget you can always choose an affordable one nearby by. I chose Shanghai Wei Ran Inn. Let me tell you about the Avatar: The Experience I had at Gardens by the Bay! It was like stepping into another world, straight outta the movie. As soon as I entered the exhibit, I was surrounded by lush greenery and surreal landscapes that transported me to Pandora. The attention to detail was unreal! The flora and fauna, all vibrant and alien-like, made me feel like I was part of the Na'vi tribe. The interactive elements were a total blast too. I got to control the bioluminescent plants with my touch and even heard the mystical sounds of Pandora echoing through the air. There were various statues of the characters placed around Cloud Forest, such as the Na’vi tribe, the monsters that appeared in the movie, as well as moving animatronics. Overall, the Avatar experience at Gardens by the Bay was an out-of-this-world adventure. If you're a fan of the movie or just looking to escape reality for a bit, this is the place to be.
