WE FLEW JUST TO SEE THE BIG BUDDHA IN HK!!! 🚠🚠🚠 @ NGONG PING 360
its the first time of the whole family to board the NGONG PING 360 and boy, we were all nervous at one pace. 😂😂😂 getting to the Big Buddha at the end of the cable car ride was super worth it.
the ride was like 25minutes or so... (i dont know how high we were from the ground) we were anxious, nervous at first, no let me take it back... nervous up to the end of the line HAHAHHAHA! but we had a good time. it was fun and bucket list material. 👍
paid like 1000+++ HK dollars for the 5 of us. (two~way)
after alighting from the cable car, we walked into the Ngong Ping town (which has a lot of cafes and restaurants) and towards that 268 stone steps hike up to Big Buddha of Lantau HK.
truly a memorable experience for the whole fam! 💜

One friend suggested to me to check out the aesthetics of Temple street by the dawn. So i did.
Temple street is that popular night street that the crowd flocks in when you visit Hongkong.
The street comes alive as soon as the sun sets in.
The street features a night market, foodie's haven, old and interesting buildings surrounding it, and these old rustic mini busses that roam around the city are a real treat.
So when you visiting, don't forget to grab your cameras and click away.

Bruce Lee and Me!
Being a fanatic of the late Great Bruce Lee, seeing his statue is a shallow dream of mine. ❤️
Bruce Lee remains the greatest icon of martial arts cinema and a key figure of modern popular media.
Ultimately, he was raised in Hongkong but born in California, USA. He is an actor, director, and instructor whose films and philosophy popularized martial arts in both Western and Eastern cultures in late 1960's and early 70's. Indeed, a pride and joy of Hongkong in the history.
His popular statue (among local and international tourists) is located infront of the Starbucks Reserved in Avenue of Stars, facing the Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hongkong.

Temple Street Night Market, HK
Considered one of the most popular destination to visit when you are in Hongkong. Temple Street night market offers a wide variety of souvenir items, produce, different goods such as toys, clothes, shoes, etc.etc. ,name it, they probably selling it there on a very cheap price. Price huggling is welcome in the street too. As soon as the sun sets, bunch of kiosks or little shops are set up in the street.
A very lively neighborhood in Yau Ma Tei and Jordan in Kowloon, Hongkong.
Aside from the night market, karaoke machines are visible in the street too as well as fortune tellers. Also, Temple street offers a huge array of food kiosks and restaurants.

Visiting Monster building, HK
One of the newly arising attraction in Hongkong is the ginormous Monster Building!!! 🏫🏫🏫
It's actually a residential complex composed of five connecting structures namely: Montane Mansion, Oceanic Mansion, Fook Cheong building, Yick Fat Building and Yick Cheong Building. It was built on 1960's to offer government-subsidized housing for low-income earners.
Be mesmerized with this giant structure but do not forget people still lives here so be mindful with the noise when you visit.

Two nighter @ Travelodge!
So i went to Hongkong for a weekend. And found this great cozy hotel as i was browsing trip.com. This hotel offers a really spacious room, squeaky clean and most importantly, very affordable stay! Wifi is a fast connector.
Opened in 2013, not too fancy, not too shabby kind of hotel.
Located in Jordan, which is a quieter neighborhood (3-5mins walk from MTR) and opposite the famous Temple street.
I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was indeed a pleasant stay.

Yau Ma Tei Recreational Park or is commonly known as the Banyan Tree Head is a very much lively spot at night. It is located next to Temple street so you know its a busy place. Full of tourists walking around the area, sellers and vendors that sells a variety of everything. The old Tin Hau Temple still sits in the middle of the park and serves as the focal atrraction for passerby's and tourists.
Also, photo.enthusiast will like this area because its a very good backdrop for selfies and indeed very instagrammable.
Well-lighted park, and safe to walk around.

Best Ice Cream in Tsim Sha Tsui 😋
For decades, the famous mobile softee ice cream has become one of the most interesting iconic figure in Hongkong. Currently, there are only 14 mobile softee stores around the country. And this one sitting infront of Victoria harbour, Tsim Sha Tsui is the most popular.
Ask any local Hongkongers, they have their own childhood stories with the famous ice cream joint.
The mobile softee only sells 4 products; soft ice cream, nutty drumstick, large.cups, and jumbo orange.
Truly a delightful way to experience Hongkong.

Holiday to Remember: A Magical Adventure at Hong Kong Disneyland
As the holiday season arrived, my bestie, a first-time traveller, and I embarked on a magical Christmas adventure at Hong Kong Disneyland. The park was transformed into a holiday wonderland, adorned with twinkling lights, festive decorations, and melodramatic Christmas carols. We rode thrilling rides, met beloved Disney characters dressed in their holiday best, and watched enchanting Christmas parades. As we walked the aisle of the park, He couldn’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia. It was the AHA! moment that transported us back to our childhood, filled with wonder and joy. Seeing Mickey, a cartoon character part of our childhood.
Sharing this experience with my best friend made it even more special, creating memories that would last a lifetime. #magicalxmastrip #travel #monumental #disney #wheninhongkong #bestietravelgoals
