🇭🇰 Mondrian Hong Kong - Best stay in Tsim Sha Tsui
#chinatrip
We definitely had a great time staying at Mondrian Hong Kong! The location is extremely convenient with just five minutes walk to the closest MTR. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs throughout the stay. I was actually surprised by the size of the room given how most of the hotels in Hong Kong have limited space. The room was clean and we got to enjoy the view though there was construction going on. I highly recommend to stay in Mondrian Hong Kong if you are visiting Hong Kong!

🇭🇰 Min Jun - A cart noodle with blend of new and old
#chinatrip
It was recommended to us to try out Min Jun, which is a restaurant that sells traditional Hong Kong styled cart noodles in a modern setting. It was so popular that we waited in the line for about 30 minutes to get our seat. The menu is straightforward where you choose a soup base, type of noodle, and various ingredients to top it. I choose a mala soup base and I like it! The radish is very tasty and absorbs the flavor of the soup base. There is also a rare ingredient which is the pork blood jelly that gives an interesting texture to the dish.

🇭🇰 C Dessert - a highly rated Chinese dessert shop in Hong Kong
#chinatrip
We have been hearing a lot of good reviews about C dessert and since we were around the area, we decided to to pay a visit and check out what’s the hype. Unlike most of the shop in Hong Kong, C dessert has a spacious seating arrangement and brightly lit. The menu is extensive ! We ordered their top rated item which is the pomelo sago shaved ice and longan shave ice. Both didn’t disappoint! I like how the different textures from the fruit, sago and ice came together in my mouth! Such a treat under the hot weather in Hong Kong!

The reception is at second floor which also has a restaurant, bar and intimate lounge space. It is definitely more spacious than most Hong Kong hotel rooms which explain its price. However, we thought it’s definitely worth every penny as the room was clean and comfortable with friendly service from the staff.

Exploring Hong Kong: little journey
Hong Kong left me in awe with its seamless blend of tradition and modernity. From the soaring skyscrapers of Central to the vibrant street markets of Mong Kok, every corner of the city buzzes with life. Riding the iconic double-decker trams, affectionately known as “ding dings,” was a highlight of my visit. These charming trams, with their vintage design and slow pace, felt like stepping back in time while passing through the city’s vibrant streets. The views from the upper deck were perfect for soaking in Hong Kong’s energy. It’s a place that never stops, yet still finds moments of charm and nostalgia. An unforgettable destination!

Cooked to perfection french steak in Hong Kong
Hong Kong is the place where you can find food all around the world. But O-Delice really surprised me. We tried two different types of steak, both medium-rare.⭐️
The steak was flavorful, tender, juicy, and actually cooked to perfection. The restaurant offers a meal package. We also tried their soup of the day and their mushroom balls, which both were amazing.🥩
You can also enjoy your coffee or a juice of your choice with it.☕️
The restaurant is decorated beautifully, it is located in the corner of a mall with many windows. The light and colors are bouncing perfectly.☀️
I will advise you to make a reservation if you are visiting on the weekends because sometimes there will be a line.ℹ️

Hong Kong's Must-Try Popular Bakery - Hashtag B.
Since Hashtag B opened in Tseung Kwan O, I always buy a bunch of goodies to take home and enjoy slowly after reheating them.
This time, I went overboard and bought an Irish Cream Tart, Napoleon Caramel Mille-feuille Tart, Mentaiko Hot Dog, Seeded German Twist, and Passion Fruit Pineapple Butter Soft Bun. My favorite is the Irish Cream Tart, which uses a sweet wine caramel sauce, making it both sweet and fragrant.
Hong Kong Disneyland a place of smiles
This is my first experience in Disneyland, one that is totally different from the usual theme parks I have been to. I came here for the rides and attractions but I got stunned by the people and the vibes there. About 30% of the people there were wearing some cute headgear or some princess costume. I couldn't belp but giggle to myself. it is just so amusing, and so I had a fun time even while waiting in the queues amid the happy atmosphere that everyone was emitting.#disneyland #disneylandhk #travel #hongkong

The Blue House is an eye-catching four-storey building in Wan Chai. The story of it dates back to the 1920s. It has a distinctive Lingnan-style architecture with a combination of both Chinese and Western features. It was a multi-purpose space back then where it was once the site of a hospital, a temple, a tenement and later a martial arts training centre.

The Iconic Hong Kong Tram: A Ride Through History
The Hong Kong tramway, affectionately known as the "Ding Ding," is one of the city’s most iconic and charming modes of transport. Operating since 1904, it’s not just a means of getting around but also a moving piece of history.
One of the most fascinating features of these trams is their double-decker design. These two-story trams were introduced to maximize passenger capacity on Hong Kong's narrow and busy streets. They remain the only fully double-decker tram system in the world, offering passengers unique views of the city from the top deck.
Riding the tram is incredibly affordable, with fares averaging just $0.30–$0.50 USD per trip, making it a budget-friendly way to explore. The trams are also known for their bright and colorful exteriors, often wrapped in eye-catching advertisements that add vibrancy to the streets of Hong Kong.
The tram system runs exclusively on the northern side of Hong Kong Island, connecting key districts like Central, Wan Chai, and Causeway Bay. It's not just practical but also environmentally friendly, as it’s entirely powered by electricity.
Hop aboard, grab a seat on the upper deck, and enjoy the slow-paced ride through Hong Kong's bustling streets—it’s a must-try experience that blends tradition with modernity.

cute little cafe
Lovely coffee that came with a nice chocolate biscuit alongside. Pasta came very quick and was pretty good but could do with more seasoning. The waffles also looked really yummy. The interior has a comfy atmosphere and the outside seats look so nice as well.
I would say the most unique thing about this coffee shop is you can feel the vibe of the Sai Ying Pun community here. This cafe is situated in an alley, which is a lovely feature of this neighbourhood.
