As a family-oriented resort, the facilities were excellent. I especially appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the BBQ facility, although there is room for improvement. Disebabkan my room is loft, my mom kena naik tangga. (2nd floor) The cafe was also a great addition, and the fact that it operates until 9pm is very convenient. The food selection was wide, and I had a great time trying out different dishes. The breakfast basket looked very nice, but unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as it looked. The noodle was too salty, which was a bit disappointing, as it felt like a waste of good food. I think if they improved this, it was a perfect oh yaaa, please book picnic basket masa check-in ya. And no charges needed. No worries, they will sent the breakfast 8am-9am in your room. Easy, Peasy! For the activities, there are farming workshop, goat/rabbit/chicken/goose feeding, fishing and candle workshop. Other than that, they provided cinema room at night, BBQ area and stargazing. The highligh of this trip was the winter hike in Mt Hallasan one that you can take even if you are hiking solo. The view is amazing, you may hate the hike but you will forget everything once you’re up there. I took the yeongsil-eorimok trail. Jeju is a safe island for female solo travellers. Highly recommended! Lots of cute cafes, you will never run out of caffeine fix, a heaven for coffee addict 😁 Even their convenience store got a lot of goodies to try. I stayed in 2 locations for my 6 days trip, first near the beach and 2nd was in the city area and it was a great decision. More time to explore the city by foot or by bus. They have very efficient transportation throughout the island although its less frequent when you are far out of the city but it is still manageable. For transportation you can use kakaotalk or just use google map, bus options will be listed there with bus frequency and timing. Hiking Mt Hallasan-You can take the bus but make sure to take the first trip as it is pretty crowded and you will be surprised that there’s a lot of hikers from young to old even in winter. Visiting lighthouses and beaches:do check the weather prior to going out as it can get really windy by the seaside. Bringing poncho is much better than umbrella. Popular places have long queues like london bagel museum so plan ahead. You dont wanna be stuck in one place for long hours and missed seing other places. I went to see the pyramids, and I didn't have to go to Egypt to see them!! Ubud, the place for some Me time, for healing, validating, finding oneself, relaxing and rejuvenating. Payments can be done online through their website or directly at the counter. Participants are led inside a pyramid, that contained a group of musical instruments in the center and mattresses around them. Participants can find a space and to lie comfortably on the mattress with their eyes closed. For an hour and half, participants are treated to an esoteric, experiential journey of sounds emitted from musical instruments of various cultural origins. As a first timer to such a healing modality, I was intrigued by this mystifying experience. My experience was alright, i guess. Some vivid images kept jumping during the session, some parts were not very pleasant. Matteo the guy who organised the sound healing session that afternoon said those who snore would be woken up...and i was woken up THREE TIMES! In my defense, I must say i remember a nudge on my leg and feeling that i had woken up and still snoring. However after that, i was awake while my eyes were.still closed. So the second and third nudges on my leg was confounding. Anyway, I recommend everyone to have a go at it.
