Osaka is a lively city with a ton of restaurants and shops to explore. I started my day with a leisurely morning at Kuromon Market, enjoying a fresh seafood breakfast. Then, I headed to Yodogawa River where I saw people doing all sorts of activities like walking their dogs, cycling, playing baseball, and even having BBQs. After that, I took a pleasant stroll through Osaka Castle and the surrounding park. In the afternoon, I checked out the retro vibes of Shinsekai district and couldn't resist the temptation of Dotonbori for some awesome food and shopping. If you want a quieter evening, I recommend going to Abeno Harukas for a peaceful night view from the rooftop. Fun spot to visit if you’re in Osaka! I will recommend to visit during the night time as the lights of the area makes this place ✨magical✨ Remember to try the kushiage, the restaurants are scattered everywhere, definitely not a food to be missed if you’re a foodie! 🍢 Passed by a shop with lots of locals playing Chess ♟️ it was a sight that I do not get to see in my home country. #100WaysOfTravel It is of course not everyone’s luck to witness Mt Fuji with their own eyes when in Tokyo. As is the case with me, I went to Lake Kawaguchi and cycled all around it only to be met with a cloudy Mt Fuji and rainy typhoon the next day! What bad luck I encountered there was replaced with this beautiful sight of Mt Fuji while I was on the train from Tokyo to Kyoto. #fuji-san #shinsekai

Awesome alternative if you heard of Zaou. Of course, that is the more advertised fishing boat restaurant if you googled "fishing boat restaurant". However, everyone tourist goes there ao its hard to get reservations. This one at Shinsekai can give you the same experience too. Sadly, its not the same for me. Last time I came, we were still allowed to fish from the table. This time cannot. You can choose 2 types of fishing: bait or hook. After you caught your fish, you can choose 2 cooking styles. They started chasing customers out around 9.30pm even though their opening hours on google maps showed 11pm. So do take note.
