Choosing the right spot makes every photo look great🖤
This is my second visit to Nanmei Chunshi inside the art museum.
I ordered the egg waffles again.
Previously tried the strawberry flavor and fell in love instantly!
This time, I opted for the summer mango.
The crispy edges of the egg waffles paired with vanilla custard,
and topped with Juan Wei's sea salt milk ice cream.
Absolutely delicious~ I felt a sense of happiness after finishing it🥰

Tainan | A Great Summer Destination: Art Museum Building 2
Too hot to go anywhere?
I highly recommend visiting the art museum to enjoy the air conditioning and explore the exhibitions.
When you're tired, head to the café on the 5th floor for some desserts.
You can easily spend an entire afternoon there. 😌
I think the Tainan Art Museum is fantastic!
From July 1st, you can use the same ticket twice before the end of the year.
And I just found out that one ticket grants access to both buildings.
Alright, I'll visit Building 1 next time. 🤞🏻

Alien Art Centre in KaoShiung
#winhkflight
Address: No. 111, Gushan 1st Rd, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan 80444.
Highlights: The Alien Art Centre is a good option when you're in Kaohsiung. It has 3 stories worth of mini-galleries for you to check out. The staff were very welcoming and approachable. The display is of a mix of different disciplines too, and all backed by documentaries/videos. The explanations have English version which was handy for me.
To be honest, I came across the museum by accident, and cannot understand why it is not shared on more websites - this was excellent!
Hong Kong also has lots of art centers which showcase a vibrant array of contemporary and traditional artworks. This makes me wanted to travel to Hong Kong.

Luermen Mazu Temple
#winhkflight
Address: No. 136, Mazugong 1st St, Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan 709.
Highlights: The Luermen Mazu Temple is one of my favourite series of temples in Taiwan and probably the biggest there is. It is dedicated to Mazu but also to Buddha and some major taoists deities.
People here perform exorcisms, you can walk along the cute little canals, this is also a great place to look at the sunset with all the red colours of the temples coming through. It also has a different style compared to the temples in Tainan city.
I would also want to immerse myself in the serene ambiance of ancient temples in Hong Kong which offers a peaceful respite from the city's lively streets.

The Cultural Heritage area in Tainan
#winhkflight
Address: No. 43, Xinsheng St, Guantian District, Tainan City, Taiwan 720
Highlights: The Long Tian Cha Cha Cultural Heritage Area is one of the must-visit in Tainan city. It is right next to Longtian Railway Station and is full of nostalgic railway style. You can stay there for about an entire afternoon with your family.
There are a variety of indoor activities, and they are very affordable for children. There is also the only bouncing hill and semi-outdoor sand pit in Taiwan where you can discharge your energy as much as you want. Some popular facilities require queuing in advance and have a limited number of people.
With this experience, I'm excited to immerse myself in Hong Kong's vibrant cultural festivals and celebrations throughout the year.

The Stunning Archeology Museum
#winhkflight
Address: No. 10, Nanke 3rd Rd, Xinshi District, Tainan City, Taiwan 744
Highlights: This Museum of Archaeology is one of the best museum I've visited in Taiwan. It is a small museum, but its concept of operation that impresses me. In four exhibition halls, it manages to cover all the main archaeological perspectives of the related site, including a display dedicated to their research methods.
At the end of the journey, a corridor with glass windows allows the public to observe how they work and to ask them questions if needed. It was a very engaging and eye-opening experience. Highly recommended.
Moreover, the museum is quite close to nanke train station, you can go there by bicycle around 15minute using tbike.
I would love to travel to Hong Kong again and visit the famous archaeology site.

National Museum of Taiwan History
#winhkflight
Address: No. 250, Section 1, Zhanghe Rd, Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan 709025
Highlights: The National Museum of Taiwan History is a marvelous museum. We entered it at opening time at 9am and left when it was closing, at 5 pm! The second floor is fascinating and between reading all the display panels, looking at the artefacts, and listening to the many tracks on the audio guide. Then, there are the two movies on the ground floor, with the one where you boats a train being really funny and cute.
The top floor had temporary exhibitions. The current ones were very interesting. Finally, you can take a long walk in the museum's grounds. The museum has an excellent cafe. Totally worth it . Do opt for the auditions, it adds to the experience.
This makes me wanted to explore the history in Hong Kong as well.

The eat-till-drop night market of Tainan
Garden Night Market is one of the most-visit night markets by tourists visiting Tainan. It has plenty of food stalls and game stalls mainly. Food choices really too much for me to choose. I was hoping if only I could stomach all the food down by one night but is impossible. I had fun playing balloon shootings and got myself a cute “travel frog” keychain which suits me. Food here are affordable, I will recommend to just get food here but drinks please get it from outside shops instead.

4 temples in Tainan for praying for love
Me and my friend went to Tainan, Taiwan, a couple of months ago. It was kinda random trip that happened without any plans, so we opened some YouTube videos and found that there's 4 famous temples that you can go pray for lover, marriage, or having a healthy baby. So we went to rent an electric scooter (cuz we both don't have an international driver license) near Tainan TRA station. It costs around 600NTD for a day. We ride to 4 temples, Chongqing Temple, God of War Temple, Tainan Grand Mazu Temple, and Temple of Avalokitesvara. All of them would have a red rope which they believed that it's a rope that tight us and our soulmate together and it will make us find each other and the pink powder called "love powder" that you have to put it on your face or body so the God will give you the luck of love. I mean, I understand the people who believed and not believed in this kind of thing. Running after God of love in so many temples, some people might think it silly. But it is just another kind of belief for the people who believe, right? I'm respect that. And we only live once, so why not? Haha

Peaceful moments in Tainan — Yuguang Island and Chimei Museum
Yuguang Island is a small island adjacent to Anping Fishing Port, covering an area of about 400 hectares, the outer harbor of the island is known as "Moon Bay", which is a good place for many people to enjoy the sunset and wedding photos for couples. The first "Yuguang Island Art Festival" held in 2017 combined the landscape works with the scenery of the island, making Yuguang Island popular, adding a cultural atmosphere to the island in addition to the natural scenery.
The Chimei Museum is a private museum established in 1992 by Shi Wen-long of Chi Mei Corporation in Rende District, Tainan, Taiwan. The museum's collection is divided into five categories: Fine arts; Musical instruments; Natural history and fossils; Arms and armor; Antiquities and artifacts!
Don’t miss out these two places in Tainan ! Check them out !

💕 Anping Tree House
#valentinescape
Anping Tree House is located in Tainan and is a former warehouse where nature decides to take over the building. Twined by the banyan trees gave this place a unique and mystical atmosphere. We were able to explore the tree house, walking along elevated walkways that wind through the branches of the trees. It was really interesting as we got close and personal with the towering trunks and lush foliage. There were also some exhibitions, which included the history of the building and the ecology of the banyan trees. We had a fun time learning about history as well as taking some we self-declared as Instagram-worthy shots among the branches and vines.

Why Tainan is Underrated: A Journey Through History and Modern Living
Tainan, often overshadowed by Taiwan's bustling cities like Taipei, is a hidden gem that offers a unique blend of rich history and contemporary charm. My recent trip to Tainan revealed just how underrated this city is, especially after visiting two iconic spots: Anping Fort and the Sunset Platform.
Anping Fort: A Walk Through Time
Stepping into Anping Fort was like walking into a living history book. This centuries-old fortress stands as a testament to Tainan's historical significance as Taiwan's oldest city. As I wandered through the ancient walls, I could feel the stories of the past whispering through the air, recounting the days when this fort served as a crucial defense point against foreign invaders. The well-preserved cannons, brick walls, and watchtowers reminded me of the fort's strategic importance during the Dutch colonial period. Despite its historical weight, the surrounding area is vibrant with life, showcasing a harmonious blend of the old and new.
Sunset Platform: Where Time Stands Still
After soaking in the history at Anping Fort, I made my way to the Sunset Platform. This spot offers one of the most breathtaking views in Tainan. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the water, I felt an overwhelming sense of tranquility. The platform itself is a perfect example of how Tainan seamlessly blends modern infrastructure with natural beauty. The sight of locals and tourists alike gathering to witness this daily spectacle added to the feeling of community and peaceful coexistence between Tainan’s historical roots and its contemporary lifestyle.
The Underrated Beauty of Tainan
Tainan is often bypassed by travelers in favor of more well-known destinations, but this city deserves to be explored and appreciated. Its unique combination of history, culture, and modern living creates an atmosphere that is both comforting and intriguing. From the ancient walls of Anping Fort to the serene beauty of the Sunset Platform, Tainan offers experiences that are as enriching as they are memorable.
For anyone looking to dive deeper into Taiwan's history while enjoying the comforts of modern living, Tainan should undoubtedly be on your travel itinerary. It’s a city that quietly captivates, offering a subtle yet profound experience that stays with you long after you’ve left.

Amazing Cruise at Sicao Green Tunnel
#winhkflight
Address: No. 360, Dazhong Rd, Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan 709
Highlights: The Sicao Green Tunnel is like a small Amazon jungle river cruise adventure. First of all, you have to purchase tickets and then line up in front of the entrance. I recommend you to go there as earlier as possible, because the queue can get long.
There is a tour guide on the boat to explain to us about unique mangroves and creatures living around there during the cruise. The boat was passing by mangrove tree branches closely so we had to watch out though it was not so dangerous, rather to say it was thrilling! It is a relaxing place to get rid of all stresses from my busy life by seeing this green place.
This also makes me cant wait to capture the beauty of Hong Kong's natural landscapes through photography.

Memorable Hike at Qigu Salt Mountain
#winhkflight
Address: 724, Taiwan, Tainan City, Qigu District, No. 66.
Highlights: The historical amazing Qigu Salt Mountain is an interesting scenic spot. There is a memorial statue built each year is a surplus for shooting amazing photos.
There are guides to show and explain how they used to extract salt from the sea. Do note that going during the week is not busy at all, however it could be busier on weekends. There are also small food stalls and DIY experiences with salt. You can pay to make your own small glass bottle of coloured salt.
I'm eager to immerse myself in the serene beauty of Hong Kong's mountain landscapes and escape the hustle.

Peaceful Madou Daitian Temple
#winhkflight
Address: 72146, Taiwan, Tainan City, Madou District, No.60.
Highlights: Madou Daitian Temple is a very recommended temple, with several buildings, gardens and a magnificent dragon. The main temple has many paintings, sculptures and a lively atmosphere. There is a sphere-like monument, with amazing paintings, which is quite unique. It is worth visiting to contemplate how far religious buildings can stretch.
Although it is a religious place, it is also a place for children, as there are several activities for them, such as feeding the fish or enjoying the long slide and the playground at the back of the temple.
I would also like to explore the intricate details of traditional architecture found in Hong Kong's temples.

Enjoying the Nature by the Harbour
#winhkflight
Address: Historic Harborside Park, Anyi Bridge, Anping District, Tainan City, 708
Highlights: Historic Harborside Park is an amazing and calm place, and wonderful during daytime or nighttime with family. I also often see a lot of photographers take photos by the river on the busy fishing boats in the morning. Visitors can board up on the second floor to enjoy watching the sunset view of Anping Port and even after sunset, the new atmosphere of Anping with evening lights is still Very attractive.
There is also a famous figure of a whale designed by a Taiwanese artist and was named the Big Fish's Blessing.
I would love to travel to Hong Kong and to visit the stunning park over there

Clean and Stunning Yuguang Island
#winhkflight
Address: Yuguang Rd, Anping District, Tainan City, Taiwan 708
Highlights: The Yuguang Island is a highly recommended place to visit if you are in Tainan. It has an ocean, beach, well well-managed trails in the forest area, can go for a small hike to An-ping harbor which is extremely nice. There are not many nice food places to choose from here but there are some food stalls if you are okay with those.
The place is suitable for having a stunning sunset/sunrise view and picnic also. Just relax and chill wherever you want.
I would love to travel to Hong Kong as to visit the beautiful beaches there.

Black Bridge Sausage Museum
#winhkflight
Address: No. 2, Xinzhong Rd, South District, Tainan City, Taiwan 702
Highlights: The Black Bridge Sausage Museum is one of my favorite food-themed museums in Taiwan! There's a bus - Blue route - that takes you here from the city center but the intervals are about an hour so just grab a taxi to the museum. The replica sausages are really cute and there's a cafe selling ready-to-eat and bring-home food on the ground floor. Each floor of the museum exhibits a different aspect of the brand and sausages. It was really fun to learn about food and see the connection between sausages and spices around the world.
I would love to travel to Hong Kong as I cant wait to try out the traditional foods over there.

Strolling in AnPing Old Street
#winhkflight
Address: Yanping St, Anping District, Tainan City, Taiwan 708.
Highlights: The Anping Old Street is a beautiful old port city area to explore by foot or bike. Of course, the best by bike as there are many places for you to visit! The streets are quite narrow and there is a beautiful fort-turn museum located over a hill. Foreign European consulates were located in this area, as there used to be a thriving trading port and continues to the present day.
Some shops belong to other countries selling traditional items as well and they are a must-visit as well. I would definitely recommend shopping here.
I would love to travel to Hong Kong as there are also lots of historical old streets there.

Hayashi store in Tainan is worth a visit!
I like this store as it contains not just unique merchandise that is only purchasable in here but also packs a punch on history as it is a designated heritage building built in 1932 located in the Ginza District of Tainan. it houses the only top floor Shintoist shrine in a store and was then one of the first few places to have an elevator back then. architectural details are beautiful ! #tainan #taiwan #shopping #shop #history
