The most comfortable way to visit Suncheon from Seoul for a 2-day, 1-night trip is definitely by KTX rather than driving! While having a car is essential if you plan to visit various tourist spots in Suncheon, we decided to take the train since we only planned to stay within the Suncheon Bay National Garden. This year, a new workation accommodation opened within the Suncheon Bay Garden, offering a perfect place to stay with 300,000 pyeong of garden space as your front yard. Moreover, the weekend peak season rate is very affordable at just 150,000 KRW per night. 1. Arrived at Busan Station I was able to get from Seoul to Busan in 2 hours and 30 minutes via KTX. When I went, it was before the Cheongryong Train came out. Now, I think I can get to Busan in even less time. 2. Lunch: Lee Jae-mo Pizza As soon as I got off at Busan Station, I ran straight to Lee Jae-mo Pizza.🏃 Since Lee Jae-mo Pizza remodeled, the store was very clean, and you could order from your seat using a tablet PC, which was very convenient. I ordered 🥔Potato Crispy Pizza🍕 and 🧄Dipping Sauce at Lee Jae-mo Pizza. Dipping sauce is a must-order. It helps make pizza that can be chewy a little less chewy^^ The cheese quality at Lee Jae-mo Pizza is particularly good, so I think it's more savory and maybe chewy! So dipping sauce is a must!! 3. Gamcheon Culture Village Before going to Gamcheon Culture Village, I unpacked my bags at my accommodation first. My accommodation is called Radiant Nampo. (Of course, I paid for it myself!! I got a discount through Accommodation Festa and made a reservation.) It's the perfect place to leave your luggage, as it's located halfway between Obusan Station and Gamcheon Culture Village! Anyway! After stopping by my accommodation (Jagalchi Station) to leave my luggage, I took a village bus for about 15 minutes to arrive at Gamcheon Culture Village. There's no admission fee to Gamcheon Culture Village, and if you choose a good cafe with a good view, it's a great tourist destination that's worth the money. There were a lot of Chinese tourists in particular. I went to a cafe called 🌼Avantgarde🌼, and had a 🍫chocolate latte🥛 there. 4. Songdo Cable Car & Amnam Park There's a place to take the Songdo Cable Car right near Gamcheon Culture Village. It takes about 20-25 minutes by bus. There are two types of Songdo Cable Cars. 💨There is a version with a transparent floor and a version without. The transparent version is more expensive. But! The transparent version was more thrilling and fun. I think it's worth paying a few thousand won more to ride the crystal (transparent version)❣️ Let me tell you a tip that's not a tip, It takes about 10 minutes from the Songdo Cable Car boarding area to Amnam Park. It's short if it's short, and long if it's long. After riding the cable car, if you connect to the cable car via Bluetooth, you can play the song you want on the cable car speaker. However, the sound quality wasn't up to my standards.^^... When you arrive at Amnam Park, there is a dinosaur statue and a walking trail. The walking trail is surprisingly long, so if you want to explore the walking trail, I think it would be better to hurry a little. 5. Accommodation: Radiant Nampo I booked this place for 50,000 won per night. It's within walking distance from Jagalchi Station. It's a 1~2 minute walk . However, there's an advantage and a disadvantage. That is, there's a street of food stalls right in front of the accommodation. I don't really like drinking, so I don't want to go out late at night and bump into drunk people, so I try not to go out of the accommodation during dinner time. 6. Dinner: Narichicken Nari Chicken is a local chicken restaurant in Busan. I really liked it because it's not a franchise! You can only taste it in Busan😍 You absolutely have to try the garlic chicken at Narichicken. It was so salty and deliciousㅎㅎㅎ That's the end of the day's schedule. Tomorrow's schedule!!! what a convenience to be able to purchase ktx tickets on trip.com! noticed that there was a cancellation and refund option as well, which added to the assurance that using trip.com was the best option. Seoul Station was busy as it was a kind of hub. many signage so not hard to navigate and find the right platform. Singyeongju was much less busy and more scenic.the the journey took a little over 2 hours. the ktx train was comfortable and clean. we took economy which was good enough for me! #ktx #seoul #singyeongju #train #korea

Getting There - seoul station to Busan station. Attractions - nice train , you can pick something to eat or drink during trip. I brought some milk tea with boba , and oolong milk tea from Gong cha downstair before boarding the train. Its so goood. Approximately 5000won each and you get a cute cup holder. Seats are so comfy and very wide leg room. Trip was take about 2 and half hour to get to the destination. #ktx #busan

Great experience of taking the KTX train from Seoul to Busan (tickets booked via Trip.com). The entire ride is so seamless and hassle free and it’s surely a very memorable experience. I live in Seoul but often visit Busan either for traveling with friends or business trip. For the last 6 months I have already visited Busan for almost 10 times if not more. That’s why I have tried all possible ways to get to Busan. These are a bus, a train and a plane. The most popular transport is a train of course. A KTX, exactly.
