Wukang Building is a historic building in the former French Concession area. When I was researching before the trip, I saw a photo of this building and I definitely wanted to go there☺️ I've never seen a building like this in my country (Japan)! Hiroshima, a town of slopes, sea, and cats 🐱 Unfortunately, since I visited in the middle of summer, I didn't see any cats during the day, but I heard there are many during cooler seasons 💕 My favorite town with a view of the sea. I spent about 4 hours taking the Senkoji Mountain Ropeway to the top, visiting Senkoji Temple, and walking down while taking photos 😊 (with a cafe break in between ☕️) On a sunny summer day, the view of the sea in the distance while descending the slopes and stairs was really wonderful ☺️ The view from the ropeway is in the 4th photo. The 5th photo is towards the Onomichi City Museum of Art 📸 The Seto Inland Sea could be seen far into the distance, and it was a spectacular view 🥹 If you want to see the cats, it might be better to visit during the cooler seasons 😊

I visited Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine on New Year's Eve! The preparations for the New Year were already in place, and the decorations were for the New Year🎍 The grounds of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine are lush and spacious✨ It's always a pleasure to visit, no matter how many times☺️ (This was my second visit) The red bridge stands out beautifully against the green scenery! Even though there were many people, I was able to spend my time leisurely😊 Speaking of Dazaifu, you can't miss Umegae-mochi!! It's incredibly delicious and one of my favorites😍 I loved it so much that I had it twice😋 I enjoyed it while strolling through the shops on the approach to the shrine, and also had a set of Umegae-mochi and tea at a cafe🥰 When it comes to Fukuoka, you can't forget mentaiko♪ I also had mentaiko chazuke for lunch at a shop on the approach to the shrine😌 The area around the shrine is bustling with many shops✨ Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is a classic spot for a Fukuoka trip where you can enjoy visiting the shrine, meals, and sweets all in one day🙌🏻
