Science Wonders: My Fun Day at Nagoya City Science Museum!
My visit to the Nagoya City Science Museum was a blast! The building itself was super cool, with a giant silver sphere housing one of the world’s largest planetariums. I was excited to explore!
Inside, there were so many fun, hands-on exhibits. I loved playing with interactive science experiments, like creating lightning with a Tesla coil and making giant bubbles. The highlight was the planetarium show—I felt like I was flying through space, surrounded by stars and planets. It was incredible!
There was even an ice room where I experienced minus temperatures—it was freezing, but so fun! The Nagoya City Science Museum made learning about science feel like a big, awesome adventure. I had so much fun!

One Of The Most Famous Rock Gardens in Japan 🪨
#goingplaces
The Zen rock garden at Ryoan-ji Temple in Kyoto is one of the most iconic examples of kare-sansui (dry landscape) gardens in Japan. The garden consists of 15 stones arranged in a sea of meticulously raked gravel, meant to symbolize mountains, water, and other natural elements. The layout is designed to evoke contemplation, and the arrangement of the stones is meant to inspire the viewer’s imagination—yet paradoxically, no matter where you sit, one stone remains hidden, symbolizing the imperfection or the unknown.

Authentic Vibes & Fresh Sushi Near Kanda Station 🍣
#localfinds
📍Kaiten Sushi Edokko Kanda, Kanda Station, Tokyo 🇯🇵
Location: Right next to Kanda Station, making it super convenient for commuters and travelers!
You order on a screen (set to English), and the sushi arrives either via a conveyer belt or staff. The place is packed with locals, adding to its charm!
Judging by the large number of chairs in front of the door, there can be quite a long wait here, but it's worth it. The staff might not speak much English, but the tablet above your seat is super easy to use.
Super fresh sushi & sashimi! I recommend the salmon sashimi, and don't miss the miso soup with seaweed.
The sushi is reasonably priced, so it's a great spot for affordable quality.
