DAY1 We took the high-speed train from Guangzhou to Zhuhai for 56 minutes, then changed lines from Zhuhai to Changlong for 27 minutes. The station was right next to the Penguin Hotel where we were staying. We arrived at the hotel around 2 pm, checked in and got a room right away. So we put our stuff in the room and went to Ocean Kingdom to take our kids to see the animals. We packed up some toys at 5 pm, prepared to watch the Changlong show, which started at 5:30 pm, but people started leaving at 4 pm. It wasn't far from Ocean. After watching, we went to get dinner to wait for the fireworks at 8 pm. Day2 We went down to have breakfast at 7:40 am, finished eating at 9 am, and went to the spaceship. There will be a shuttle from the Penguin Hotel, which is very convenient. Today, we spent the whole day at Space, collected all the rides, and watched the Orca show at 12:00 pm. There are 3 large floors here. In the evening, after we had finished playing, we took the bus back to the Penguin Hotel to eat the buffet. Day3 We finished packing up our bags and left them at the baggage storage area. We returned the room card and went to have breakfast, then went to Ocean. Collected the points that were not yet collected. Until 3 pm, walked out of Changlong to take the high-speed rail to Guangzhou (Actually, Changlong has a bus to Guangzhou, but it takes about 2 hours, excluding traffic). But if taking the high-speed rail, it takes about 1.30 hours. So we chose the high-speed rail because our child has a lot of energy. If we sit for a long time, he will be cranky. 😂 Note: We booked a stay at the Penguin Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, including breakfast for 2 days, buffet dinner for 1 day, tickets to enter Ocean + Space ship for 3 people, unlimited entry within 3 days of stay, and tickets to see the show for 3 people 1 time. 🌞At Changlong, there are baby strollers for rent, but we didn't rent them because our child likes to walk. #myhiddengems Sprawling green space popular for picnicking & exercising, with cafes, a chairlift and a beach, Jingshan Park is a small hill in downtown Zhuhai. This urban park is the best place for an unobstructed view of the city and the sea. The funniest activity here is the Ropeway up by Cable car, and slide down the mountain with the special sliding car. The sliding is exciting, but if you are not ready for it, you can choose Ropeway for two ways. We purchased the ticket beforehand on Trip. Unfortunately, it was raining when we were there, and the sliding way was closed. We were able to return the booked tickets and booked again. The scenery uphill is good and you can see all the iconic landmarks like Shell-like Zhuhai Opera in a view here. #chinatrip #zhuhai

#myhiddengems The lighthouse of Zhuhai Love Post Office is located on the most beautiful coastline couples road in Zhuhai. Combined with the name of the Love Post Office, many tourists go to take photos every day, as well as a large number of new people go to take wedding photos, one of the tourist signs of Zhuhai punch cards. It was raining heavily when we went there, so we got time to explore around the stalls there. We had an interesting ice cream in the shape of the lighthouse. Jingshan Hill in Zhuhai offers beautiful views of the city and the surrounding landscape. Its elevated position provides a scenic perspective of Zhuhai and nearby Macau, making it a popular spot for photography and sightseeing. Additionally, the hill has a pleasant park with well-maintained paths, making it a great place for a leisurely walk or a relaxing afternoon. This village dated over 150 years is situated in the western part of Zhuhai, and hidden amongst residential neighborhood. It is a short ride of 20-30 min from the Zhuhai station. Get off at the Bei Dai station which is in front of the new and large Hua Fa Shoppimg Mall. The village is on the opposite side of the mall and takes 10 minutes to walk. The village has many old houses and temples, and many of them have been converted into restaurants, bars, galleries for art and even learning Chinese art, calligraphy, and music. "Black Bear Driving Guide 🐻🪭Zhuhai" The night before, I chose to stay at the Huafa Convention and Exhibition Executive Apartment because the price was very cheap at $300 a night, with a room, a living room and free fruit. The only problem is that it is not convenient, more suitable for friends with cars to stay🤓 I did not go to the popular teahouse, in order to avoid waiting in line for a long time 🫣 nearby walk 10 minutes to Cross Gate Huafa Shangdu store, came to Yangjiang people to eat brunch, greedy for it before 11:15 to pay the bill has 88% off 😁 teahouse decoration is very new, and spacious and clean, feel very good! There are many choices of small dishes, seafood and dim sum. Not every food we ordered was stunning, but for the environment, price and no need to queue, you can try it! The king of dumplings with fresh bean curd shrimp Excellent worth a try! The crust is crystal clear, made very tender, and becomes wet and easy to break without being steamed. It's stuffed with big fresh shrimps, and it will burst with juice when you bite it! Yangjiang Pig Intestine Lu Yangjiang specialty dim sum, which seems to be filled with thin-skinned cha-fan and bean sprout buns with five spice powder. Wrap the outer layer with thicker cha-fan. I saw reviews online that there are meat buns inside, but we didn't notice it 🤔 It looks like vegetarian cha-fan. It's quite cute. You might as well give it a try! "Black Bear Driving Guide 🐻🪭Zhuhai" I probably haven't been back to the mainland for 5-6 years. Recently, Mr. Black Bear applied to drive on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, so we went back to explore the road🥸 After work on Friday, drive about an hour to Zhuhai. There was a time when I felt like a big countryman out of town. We studied for a while, how to enter the meter when parking on the roadside 😱😱 It turns out that there is nothing to do, when leaving use WeChat to pay for parking 🫣 For my first meal, I chose to eat authentic Zhuhai cuisine near the Xiangzhou area. I sincerely recommend the Sun and Sea (Beishan Branch). The spacious outdoor dining area blended with ancient trees particularly attracted me! Then go up to the second floor with private rooms, designed with some Japanese style. Tea-scented duck, a must-try recommended online, did not disappoint us! The duck meat is tender, sweet and a little sweet, although the tea flavor is not obvious, but there are fried tea leaves to accompany the plate, and a fire placed under the plate to warm the juice, slowly eating will not be cold and solidified. Bonus points🫶🏻 Grilled tofu, made up of vegetarian tofu and white tofu, then fried to thicken. Tender and beautiful, it feels like a carefully designed dish☺️ Fresh peppercorn ancient steamed herring, slightly inferior to a dish, the fish meat mud taste is very heavy plus a little fishy smell when frozen, pepper can not cover 🤡 After dinner rest for a while, the next trip is to go to the spa☺️ The environment in the store is quite good, but the massage master really too much talk, do not like so not much introduction! There are many Islands close to Zhuhai so we had to pick one for a day trip. After some research and the locals recommendation we picked Wai Lingding. 

To get there we firstly had to take a ferry boat for 90 minuets. It was easy to buy tickets at the port from a machine using WeChat wallet but you could also get the tickets over the counter. 

Upon arrival it was easy to find the way around this place and we started with the beach. 

Later we walked along the rocky coastline on the other side and hiked to the top of the mountain. This was absolutely worth it when we saw the view from the top. It took us less than 1 hour. 

My friend bought a lot of dried fish and shrimps from a local lady to take back to friends and family in Beijing. 

Beautiful island with a seafood market and a street full of restaurants. If you like seafood this is a really nice place to spend an afternoon. 

The island do have quite a few hotels as well but we just made it a day trip and after walking around to all the major hotspots it was time to take the ferry boat back to Zhuhai. #zhuhai #beach #Travel #china #wailingding

Coming from Zhongshan, the Zhuhai arrival was literally a breath of fresh air. That was the first thing I noticed-how clean the air felt. Get a whiff of that sea breeze 🌊🍃 Onward to the Zhuhai Grand Theatre, an exquisite work of art which seems like God planted 2 giant clams to stick upwards facing the Heavens. An instagramable opportunity to capture pictures both near and far. I enjoyed seeing this architecture up close and from a distance. Another thing worth mentioning is how quaint the park is before you get close to the Theatre. Locals can be seen riding bicycles which are provided in their hundreds on site. You can sit on the chairs or grass and if you really want to be close to the sea, just get pass the rocks before you cross the street to get to the Theatre and the shops nearby. I thought this to be a good place to be to even have a picnic if you wanted. The place was just beyond my expectations. Amazing aquarium, really awesome. Insane roller-coaster and the lights and fireworks show at the end are great. The Ocean Aquarium is one of the largest in the world and I could have spent all day there just watching the majestic whale sharks. There is a cafe that has direct viewing windows into the aquarium, providing the most amazing photo opportunities having a coffee watching rays, sharks and fish. Location: Jingshan Park. Located beside the beach, opera house and the lady statue, sits a towering mountain that offers panoramic views of Zhuhai and Macau! I took the cable car up and the rollercoaster slide (fun and only a little scary) down. This costs a total of 80RMB per person. Reasonable. The view from the top is great and you can spend hours walking around and admiring the view. It's a big place. #zhuhai #cablecar

Ferried our way to Jiuzhou Island, off the coast of the Mainland on a trip to Zhuhai aboard the Blue Sea Jet. This 40min on-sea trip brought us to this very intimate yet gorgeous island where we spent the day exploring. Trailing up the mountains had us getting the best views of the sea. There are carts open buses that take you up to different parts of the island, as well as great hotels and restaurants. You can trail up a gruesome (only because it was scorching) path to have an incredible sighting of the inexplicable Hong Kong Zhuhai-Macau bridge. Having to actually see both Hong Kong & Macau and not being able to get there because LOCKDOWN was a mental pain worthy of an account here. That said, we opted to have fresh seafood at a local restaurant as we could choose our own freshly caught lobster, prawns and fish. The last ferry departs back to the mainland at 5:30 so get your life together. I saw flying fish on the ferry journey back- a beautiful memory. The architectural design is really unique, with the shape of 2 giant shells built on an island connected with a bridge. The night view is really mesmerizing with the colorful lights, strolling around the park enjoying the sea breeze; super comfortable. We took a stroll along the serene promenade on Lovers’ Road before heading to Shui Wan Bar Street for dinner. I guess we were a little early at 8pm, so not everything was open yet. We chose a quiet bar along the end of the street for some good old burgers and beer.
