As I approached the towering Gothic-style façade, its intricate brickwork and pointed arches created a striking contrast against the modern skyline surrounding it. Stepping inside, I was immediately drawn to the high vaulted ceilings and the soft glow of light filtering through the stained-glass windows. The detailed glass panels depicted biblical stories in vivid colors, casting a peaceful ambiance across the nave. The simplicity of the wooden pews and the quiet reverence of the space made it easy to pause and take in the spiritual presence of the cathedral. Walking through the aisles, I admired the elegant altar, its intricate details framed by the towering columns. The pipe organ, standing tall at the rear, added to the solemn beauty of the space. Despite being in the bustling district of Myeongdong, the cathedral offered a quiet escape, a place where history, faith, and architecture seamlessly intertwined. Outside, the cathedral’s courtyard provided a tranquil setting, with a small garden and statues creating a peaceful retreat from the city’s energy. As I sat for a moment, I reflected on the cathedral’s significance—not just as the birthplace of Catholicism in Korea but as a place that continues to offer solace and inspiration to all who visit.

Perched atop Namsan Mountain, the tower stood tall against the skyline, its sleek modern design blending harmoniously with the surrounding nature. The journey up was just as enjoyable as the destination. I took the Namsan Cable Car, gliding above the lush greenery as the city slowly unfolded beneath me. Upon reaching the base of the tower, I was greeted by the famous love locks, where thousands of colorful padlocks symbolized promises left by visitors from around the world. Inside the tower, I ascended to the observation deck, where floor-to-ceiling windows showcased a breathtaking 360-degree view of Seoul’s dynamic cityscape, Han River, and distant mountains. Watching the city transition from day to night was mesmerizing—the golden sunset casting a warm glow over the skyline before the city lights flickered to life in a dazzling display. Before leaving, I stopped by the Namsan Park trails, enjoying a quiet moment surrounded by nature. Seoul Tower was more than just a landmark; it was a perfect blend of history, romance, and scenic beauty, making it an unforgettable highlight of my time in the city.

Each corner of the palace holds its own story, from the serene Gyeonghoeru Pavilion to the elegant Hyangwonjeong Pond. Gyeongbokgung is not just a landmark; it’s a journey through Korea’s rich cultural tapestry.

This is where specialty roast beans are displayed. You can find your own coffee while communicating with the owner in a modest 10-square-foot space. Here you can enjoy hand-drip coffee, as well as espresso-based coffee and decaffeinated tea. Especially with hand-drip coffee, you can choose from a variety of beans that suit your taste and choose from two methods, fusion and filter, so you can create your own special coffee. And the most surprising thing is the price. Drip coffee starts at 3,500 won, and espresso-based coffee is 2,500 won to 4,000 won, which is quite cheap. When I asked about the price, I was told that it was the same price as 10 years ago. "I just do it because I like it," they said! The autumn foliage painted the surroundings in fiery hues, creating postcard-perfect scenery at every turn. The park’s serene vibe is complemented by glimpses of wildlife and the soothing sounds of nature. It’s a place that invigorates both the body and soul. If you're looking for a mix of adventure and tranquility, Seoraksan is the answer!

#koreatrip Sanbangsan is located at the centre area of Seogwipo, and its famous for its quaint and quiet location away from the crowds. This area mainly comprises of villages and small plot residence, and is very famous for its Canola Field. There are so many plots of lands planting Canola flowers, and you will want to stay there for long as you can take lots of nice pictures of the field and the mountain. The vast yellow fields will make you fall in love with the stunning scenery and the beauty of nature, and this is a must visit should you ever visit Jeju in end February or early March.

#koreatrip During our visit at Jeju we spent our first night at The SEAES Hotel and Resort. It is a 5 star resort with a theme of local features, where all rooms were decorated with Thatched straws. It was a resort converted from a fishing village, so they preserved lots of original structures and buildings. We got the Garden Suite and the room is really nice and spacious, and all amenities are available with a nice note and snacks provided to guests. The bed is very comfortable and cozy, and the surroundings are just as private as it seems, and this resort really serves its purpose located at the hideaway place from the crowd. We really enjoyed our retreat here and would definitely come back again.

I recently visited Busan, and I was thoroughly impressed! This vibrant city beautifully blends modernity with tradition. The stunning beaches, like Haeundae and Gwangalli, offer a perfect spot for relaxation and fun in the sun. The food scene in Busan is a highlight, especially the fresh seafood at Jagalchi Fish Market and the delicious street food in BIFF Square. Each meal was a delightful experience. Exploring the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village, with its whimsical art and charming streets, was another adventure I loved. The views from the Busan Tower were breathtaking! The city’s efficient public transportation made getting around easy and convenient. Overall, Busan is a dynamic destination filled with friendly locals, amazing sights, and delicious food. At Camellia Hill, there are many alleyways which has full bloomed Camelia flowers, which you can take many nice pictures around. There are tens of thousands of trees planted there so you can really snap many nice pictures around. In fact, it is a favourite spot for couples who wants to shoot pre-wedd.ing pictures, and the best things is the ticket is included in Jeju Pass!!! We took our time to stroll around and watched the beautiful sunset and marks a good end for our second day in Jeju.

This is a donut house that perfectly embodies the taste of the Winchell donuts I ate as a child and the cinnamon donuts from Donut King in Australia. It’s a very cute shop, and it’s great for any photoshoot. The donuts are also delicious. Be sure to add both raspberries and cream sauce and eat it together. The raspberry has a steamed taste that feels like real sincerity..! As expected, the signature was the most delicious!
