Service from the front desk supervisor, Daniel is professional, after our long haul flight, he took the initiative to offer early check in at around 1 pm and provide some snacks to our room. Facilities wide for sure is good from the huge indoor swimming pool, rooftop bar facing the Canton tower view and the minibar inside the room is FREE for their guests.Not to mention the location is strategically located in the Tianhe CBD district and linked to the IGC mall directly. Conrad is one of my favourite hotel brands and it all started at Conrad Centennial Singapore. My first Conrad stay was here and I was impressed by the level of service and comfort of the room! I loved the welcome cookies and dried fruits, as well as the turndown service that was not skimp upon even back when the pandemic was still raging. How adorable it is that you’re able to keep the adorable Conrad bear and rubber duck as souvenirs? They even differ by property, and this has started my quest to collect them all. I had a lovely afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge, which changes seasonally but is always aesthetic and pretty. Oscar’s in Conrad Centennial Singapore has one of the best lunch buffet in town with good personal service! Who does not like to see many spreads of good food on the table? You can indulge in tantalizing local and international cuisine in Oscar’s! Love their famous Caesar salad that you can mix yourself in the huge cheese “bowl”! Instead of hard boil eggs, Oscar’s chef actually use quail eggs! Of course , you will get to taste the fresh oysters and mussels that they open for you on the spot! Price per night - under $300 (with Trip.com promotion and SRV) Rating - 💫💫💫💫 Conrad Singapore has finally open to staycationers after serving the nation as a SHN facility. Can’t wait to go back to reminisce the pleasant experience as the last time we went was ages ago. When trip.com had a hotel package promotion, we didn’t hesitate and straight away book a night to spend the new year before the kids start their school term. It was a cold day on check-in day as it has been raining the past 48 hours. Front desk was very efficient and the queue cleared very quickly. We got our key within half an hour and managed to get connecting rooms. Rooms came with a long couch which is pretty spacious hence we don’t need an extra bed. It’s so nice to wake up the next morning facing the Marina Bay. With $200 dining credit from 2 rooms, we visited the famed Golden Peony and we didn’t regret. It’s all worth it. Lucky the rain stopped the next morning and we managed to get an early slot to use the pool. There isn’t much people probably due to the cold waters from few days of rain. Rain came back after we are done with our swim. Lucky! Lucky! Due to an incident from the heavy long drawn downpour, instead of just the 2 breakfasts which were included, all of us got to have breakfast with a late check out at 4pm. The kids were overjoyed at the thought of another few hours in the hotel. Conrad’s service standard is still as good as the last experience many years ago and this time with the kids loving it too. Staff was fast and their director Mr Teun even came down to say hello to us! Bookings for the lounge are completed during check-in. Breakfast was walk-in, no reservation needed. The food and drinks served at the lounge were of pretty good quality, it was actually quite filling and we didn't have space for dinner, haha! We felt peckish at 9pm and due to the great location, crossed the road to Suntec for a Don Don Donki run! Rooms were ready at 12pm, staff greeted us as we walked by. if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a quite afternoon tea with a budget under $500, I would recommend #conrad lobby lounge. From now to end of Feb, they’re partnering with local teahouse MingCha to present tea-inspired delicacies. Aside from the goji berries scones, I enjoyed the abalone tart, Alaskan king crab salad with salmon roe sandwich, barbeque pork puff pastry and osmanthus cheesecake. Enjoyed my stay in this impressive hotel! Booked a deluxe room, but the room was large and there is bath tub as well. Warmly welcomed by the staff when i arrived. The interior design from lobby to the room is just luxurious and elegant decorated in Thai style. Toiletries are from Byredo, a Swedish luxury fragrance house. Definitely love the Mojave Ghost scent. Breakfast is served at Oscar’s from 7 a.m to 10.30 a.m Monday to Friday, and 7.30 a.m to 11 a.m on weekends and public holidays. Since the executive lounge only opens at 3 p.m, this is the breakfast venue for all guests. Breakfast is now an assisted buffet, where you staff will be on standby to serve you! You no longer have to book a slot during check-in and can walk in whenever you want with a 1 hour dining cap. Staff told me it gets busy 9am onwards. We were lead to our seats after our room numbers were verified. Staff took our drink orders and we were free to roam around the buffet line. Staff were friendly and the waffle station was a home run for me! Waffles are made to order, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and topped with good quality vanilla ice cream. Highlights for me were the freshly squeezed juices, chawanmushi and the pancakes! The century egg congee was average at best and not a “must try”. Fishball noodles station was pretty good and made to order. Avoid the Siew Mai, they had a weird texture and a gristly taste, and I’d much rather save some space in my stomach for something better. Breakfast at Conrad has been nerfed significantly since my last visit in January, gone were the eggs benedict or avocado toast, however, they maintained an well-rounded selection of different choices. Conrad Singapore’s breakfast experience was easily be among my top few so far, but the limited spread during my latest visit was disappointing. Service was quick and friendly, staff were proactive and attentive! The selection was just right for a one to two night stay but I would not see myself returning if I had a stay longer than two nights. A solid 3.5/5. tl:dr: A well-rounded balance of classics such as bacon, sausages, eggs as well as a decent noodles and congee selection, skip the dim sum. Ice Cream at 7am? Anniversary Staycation ： Conrad Hong Kong Bedroom is clean and comfortable with mountain view. Nothing fancy but definitely cosy. I like the executive lounge though. Spent few hours there, reading, drinking tea and champagne 🥂 The package included brunch buffet is on the next day. And when I say brunch buffet , of course it’s the famous “Champagne Brunch on the Eighth” ! Well, it’s definitely not overrated. The food is delicious with varieties, settings are pleasant. It’s called the Champagne Brunch because it’s bottomless, free refills throughout your sessions. There are menus for special orders such as eggs & omelettes, seafood on ice, the mains, desserts etc. And they listed the brunch of surprise ! Brunch of surprises are pop up culinary carts. If you miss it, you missed it. So far, I tried them all, and love it! There are different sections; the mix and shake bar with alcohol and non-alcohols drinks to order; carving counters with roasted red meats; pastas cook right before you; taste of Asian food such as the peking ducks; the antipasto sections with salads and cold appetisers; the sushi bar; and the seafoods and raws are fresh and sweet.
