The room, or rather the suite was unexpectedly large and spacious for the price we'd paid. The suite had 2 washing basins in the open kitchen area, a living room and a bedroom separated by a large expanse of semi-transparent doors, and overlooked the hustle and bustle below in the Wanchai District. We were very much grateful that we got much more than we paid for until water supply and flushing water were suspended in the midnight without any prior notice. In the end, everything went normal about 5 hours after we called the front desk but we wished the response and action taken by the hotel staff would've been swifter and more enthusiastic. Trinidad Suites Puteri harbour is one of the four star hotel in johor. I stayed at this hotel with my family . Booked a two bedroom apartment during our stay here. Apartment was well equipped with cooking utensils & toiletries . Cleanliness was good. We managed to cook our own dinner there. Bed and sofa were very comfortable and relaxing . The swimming pool has a breathtaking view of the harbour and nature . So windy and zen. Good spot to take OOTD . The fitness centre has quite many exercise equipment to use which was good. Location near harbour, waterfront promenade and theme park . A convenience store on the ground floor . There are also quite number of bars, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity . What a beautiful room for my birthday celebration!! Love the view of Marina bay from the room!! Bed was comfortable and can fit 3 person! 🤪 The aircon was awesome👍🏽👍🏽 The minibar was fully stocked up. The living room is quite small especially the balcony doesn't fit 3 adults 👎🏽 Sadly the toilet doesn't comes with a bidet. The water heater was not working well. This is still my favorite airplane seat though there are newer seats rolled out in these recent year. Seat: 3C and 3D This seating configuration allows you to dine together with your travel companion. Prior to boarding, the experience in the Private room was so awesome. You can choose to order via Book the Cook to choose your dish in advance. The staff was so attentive and friendly that the moment we woke up, we were asked if we would like to have some warm honey lime juice. We stayed here when we visited Cuyahoga National Park. It’s a beautiful property, nicely maintained and have all amenities. This property has suites and are very spacious and beautiful rooms. Suites comes with a Room, A spacious bathroom, Sitting room. Microwave, coffeemaker and a very beautiful view from the window. It’s located on the River and has very beautiful waterfall jut behind the Hotel. Sitting area and public areas are good. Swimming pool is also nice. Day 1 at Kuala Lumpur was awesome greeted with upgrade room to VIP Suite, it was super huge like own luxurious room to stay at. Only 3 of this kind available and only 3 lifts can access to this level also. Located at highest 29th floor. Living room area is huge, so does the toilet and bedroom. I feel so rich somehow. Oasia Sentosa Address: 23 Beach View, Palawan Ridge Sentosa Island Singapore Ave. Price : S$ 1,250++ for 3D2N in a Junior Suite Second part of my birthday hotel-hopping staycay… I purchased this hotel package as a far east hospitality member and it is inclusive of the following: * breakfast * turndown service (although I didn’t receive my turndown service gift but did receive a balm) * wellness mini-bar items * one-way limousine service * 2-hour spa service Member rate is already comparable to what’s offered in this app but I decided to book via the membership’s site so I can utilize my S$100 voucher. I visited this hotel before but only stayed in a Deluxe Room. Since it’s my birthday, I splurged and stayed in their Junior Suite and for me, it was worth it! Although for the price, would’ve been better if afternoon tea or cocktails are provided - like other competitor hotels’ suite privileges. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay. Kudos to Gar Wei in front desk who facilitated my check-in, lead me to my room and personally brought me my requested bath salt. The room is spacious and clean. There were plenty of bottled water provided aside from the healthy mini-bar items. I also received a unique birthday cake - or rather, a dessert made with gelatin with fruits, shaped like a birthday cake 😊The hotel’s entertainment is great! Their TV supports chromecast and device pairing for streaming from your device. The shower area is separate from the bathtub. The bathtub is big, however, I found it hard to “navigate” and get out of the bathtub 😂 Note that bath salts need to be requested by calling the front desk. Turndown service involved replenishing toiletries and making up of the bed. I was given a balm during that time as well. Set breakfast is served at Bedrock. It was ok. I had the Hearty Breakfast which I didn’t manage to finish. The serving is big and I find the Italian sausage chickpea stew a tad too salty for me. Their spa didn’t disappoint. I got there earlier again to have time to use the sauna before my set massage appointment. Celeste did a good job kneading my stress away. After my 2-hr massage, she also gave me some wellness tips. It is situated near Ann Siang Hill which is an older part of town now populated by many chi chi cafes. We entered via a big dark entryway on the ground floor of The Clan. The reception is located on level 5 as with many newer hotels these days. Service was warm and hospitable from start till end, although interactions were few considering the large size of the hotel. We were also offered a cup of freshly brewed Pryce tea and tau sar piah. The signature design of the lobby is a wall filled with a myriad of artifacts from thousand dollar umbrellas to walking sticks. I was assigned a corner room on level 8 of the hotel. The room was immaculately designed although small at only 24sqm. Immediately to the right of the entrance was a spacious shower with a window looking out onto Telok Ayer Street below. The rainshower was heavenly. Further in was a complimentary minibar, more Pryce tea and bathrobes. My room came with a very comfortable king sized bed. What sealed the deal was the wraparound windows with a CBD view. It was a bliss lazing in bed drinking tea while admiring the city views. Facilities wise, The Clan has a beautiful rooftop pool and gym with views of the Outram and Clark Quay area respectively. Both were small but sufficient for a decent workout. The pool was a great place to watch the sunset. I had breakfast at Qin Restaurant the following morning before rushing off to ward rounds. The staff were prompt in service and food was high quality, although limited to only one serving each. Overall, I was highly satisfied with this stay. Tldr: Refurbished heritage hotel with spectacular bayfront views Room type: Fullerton Marina Bay View Room Overall rating: 4.5/5 Room: 5/5 Service 4.5/5 Facilities: 4/5 Food: 4/5 // Happy 56th birthday Singapore! 🇸🇬🇸🇬 In today’s National Day hotel review, we travel back in time to one of Singapore’s original colonial buildings. Built as a post office before housing several government ministries, the Fullerton Hotel is choke full of history. It’s dramatic facade of Doric columns is unmissable as one drives down Esplanade Drive. We checked in on a toasty Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, if you arrive by public transport there’s a short unsheltered walk from Raffles Place MRT to the main entrance. Once we stepped into the lobby, however, we were awed by the soaring ceilings and powerful air-conditioning. Check in was brisk and there was nary a queue. Our room was located on the 6th floor with a balcony that opened up to an unobstructed view of the entire Marina Bay. The room is also newly renovated with all the modern luxuries one can ask for: Harmon Kardon speakers, a 55inch smart TV with Netflix and even a smart toilet seat. I had a fantastic night’s sleep on the king sized bed which was just nice in firmness. Thankfully, the double glazed glass doors blocked all the road noise from below. Facilities wise, I was unable to check out the gym due to P2HA. Nonetheless, the pool was long enough to swim laps in with a Singapore River view to match. Good in the day, simply mesmerizing at night. There was not much else to do in the hotel facilities wise. Breakfast was likewise served in room. I appreciate that Fullerton took the extra effort to provide actual tablecloth and cutlery (ahem Sofitel and Parkroyal Pickering 🤨). It was a bliss eating eggs Benedict and sipping freshly brewed coffee while watching the sunrise over Marina Bay. All in all, I will be returning just for the room.
