who could have thought this sacred and spiritual monasteries, a marvelous and incredible rock formation. it was an awe inspiring experienced i had during my trip to meteora. visiting each monasteries was crowded and had to slowly get along with the crowd from room to room. the fees for each monastery was only 3 euros and ladies need to wear a dress or skirt in order to enter however there were rentals of the skirt if needed. there were six monasteries altogether for viewing however each monastery has visiting hours therefore please check before the visits. it is definitely a must visit when in greece. #greece #monastery #meteora #rockformation

The Devrent Valley is also called the imagination valley where you use the imagination to think of whatever the fairy chimneys could be. You can have your imagination to what Mother Nature has created. Devrent valley is about 10min from Goreme. This is a must visit as the site shows natural rock formations created many moons ago. You will be able to find the most popular queen's head formation where it looks like a queen's head, and at times there will be a long queue for photo taking. Also, this park has many other rock formation, and due to the wind and seawater this soft limestone erodes and forms these shapes. If you are lucky you be also able to spot some amazing birds here too! For those who drive, there is a huge parking lot around the area where you can park for a small fee. Also, the entrance to Yehliu Park is chargeable and you can buy it onsite. It will costs you 200TWD per person, abit expensive but its still good to go as you will not be able to find these rock formations else where.

I started from Osaek to Daechung, then took this path down. Amazing view to the east and the west. Many rocky spots that go up and down. The weather gets unpredictable during the summer, and it changes overtime where you’re at in the route. Make sure to bring layers and rain coat. It was difficult at the end when it was raining. Do you know that there is a limestone cave located in Sydney called Jenolan Cave and is quite a popular attraction. Located at 4655 Jenolan Caves Rd, Jenolan NSW 2790, this is after the blue mountains national park about a 2 hours drive away due to the mountain regions where the roads get quite winding. Jenolan caves is open everyday from 9.30am except Mondays and Tuesday where this is one of the largest cave in Australia where it has been here for years. There are also tours to the cave if you wish to have guides explaining on the history and how the formations come about. A very beautiful lookout would be the wineglass Bay located at freycinet national Park. Wineglass bay is popular due to its red and pink granite formation of rocks and it is also voted by several travel authorities one of the best beaches in the entire world. The hike will not be an easy one as it is a constant upslope and you definitely will work up a sweat in order to get to the lookout, but it will definitely be a very very rewarding one. This is all about taking your time and eventually you will get to the top! The entire walk will take you a good 1.5 - 2hrs as it is approx 6km round trip. There is also an additional hike down to the beach and it isn't an easy one too as you know what goes down must come up. Taken from Dead horse point overlook which is the state park of Utah in untied states, Moab. There are several hiking trails here, the hike to dead horse point is a total of 16km if you take all the spurs but 8km if you take none. The overlook are gorgeous and breathtaking but do be very cautious as these overlooks are not fenced up. At times it might be slippery due to rain. There are several overlooks here that you can explore before you reach dead horse point outlook are: - Big Horn Overlook - Rim Overlook - Shafer Canyon Overlook - Meander Overlook There are also several arches in the state park, the popular one would be the Mesa Arch in the pictures attached and another would be the delicate arch which will be in another post. But if you are lazy, you can just drive all the way up to dead horse point overlook, park there and head to the little outlooks around the carparks. The drive though, can take from 30mins to a few hours depending on your interest and stop points. So make sure you plan your trip there.
