Jiamei Mosque (MASJID JEMAK) is a traditional Islamic style building and is said to be the oldest mosque in Malaysia. TIPS: 1. Transportation: Take the LRT line to Masjid Jamek station, within walking distance; 2. The dress code for the interior visit of the mosque, you must take off your shoes when entering the mosque, men can wear short sleeves, but the lower clothing must be long pants; women are more strict, long-sleeved trousers to the hijab are necessary.

It's one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, built in 1909. It's a place of Muslims worship but it's open for tourists too.The location of the mosque is very nice, at the confluence of two rivers, gives a very pleasing view. Moreover, the architecture is very good, giving old islamic culture vibes. The mosque is very large with a lot of place to pray and a small garden too.The lush surroundings by the Klang and Gombak rivers add to its charm, making it a must-visit landmark for both tourists and locals alike.A visit here is a tranquil and enriching experience, reflecting Malaysia's rich cultural heritage.

Masjid Jamek is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and may be accessed via Jalan Tun Perak. The beautiful architecture of the mosque brings its unique Moorish and Mughal charm to the neighborhood and is a must visit in KL.

Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad is located in Jalan Tun Perak, City Centre, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Opened in 1909, seated beside the riverbank, this beautiful architerural and historical mosque was once served as the main mosque in the KL city.Open daily from 5.30am - 9.30pm, the non-Muslims are welcomed to visit during non-prayer hours.
