Hanoi Confucian Temple is a typical Chinese-style building, similar to many Confucian Temples in China. Most of the existing buildings in the Confucian Temple were built in the 17th century by the Li Dynasty, covering an area of more than 26,000 square meters and sitting north to south. The entire complex consists of five courtyards, with a Xiama monument outside the door and a quiet mirror pool in the front yard. A Chinese character with four characters written in the middle of the Great Patriarch's Table is hung high, and the slab is marked as "Kangxi Yushu". The main hall is equipped with Confucius table, and the two sides are served by the Chinese and Vietnamese Confucianism. The Temple is famous for having a "Jinshi Monument", a lively stone turtle holding its head, carrying this finely carved Jinshi Monument. Located on Wenmiao Street south of Bating Square, across the road from the Vietnam Art Museum. Every year during the Spring Festival, the Temple of Literature always holds a few days of solemn sacrifice activities, as well as cultural and entertainment activities such as calligraphy, chess, poetry, cockfighting, birdfighting and other activities. If you are in Hanoi at this time, don't forget to go and see it.
