We liked this hotel very much. Excellent facilities, very good housekeeping, and the best location. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast!

The front desk service is very good, proactive, enthusiastic, and friendly. The room layout is reasonable, clean, and odorless. The bedding is very comfortable and the shower water is fast. I would like to highly recommend this hotel to those who are coming to Erenhot. It was my first time visiting Erenhot to do shopping and I chose this hotel as it was a recently opened brand new hotel. Indeed, the bedsheets, the towels were all new, the bathroom, the lights, the curtains, they are are all smart! The hotel interior is awesome! And I gotta say, I really loved the amenities. Omg the hair dryer was something I have never experienced before. I wanted to buy that brand of hairdryer for myself too. Oh and you gotta wake up early to have full breakfast, otherwise it gets finished and the kitchen don’t refill them. I forgot to take more pictures, but you can see them in their page. The hotel gives snacks every evening, oh so thoughtful 😍❤️

Bayan Tara Hotel is a Bayan Tal hotel. The location is right in the city center. Large malls and restaurants are very close around. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced.

The hotel is very easy to find. There is a parking lot before and after the hotel on the street. Parking is convenient. The front desk of the hotel is atmospheric. The younger brother and sister at the front desk are very patient. Thank you very much for helping to store the drugs. The room has everything that should be there. Cafeteria on the 1st floor has great food. Location is near to big shopping malls and entertainment area. 7 mins walk to Xinhua station. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. 🙂

This hotel can be very hit & miss. I have stayed here 3 times and had 3 different experiences. First things first, though, it is worth pointing out that location is excellent, especially for its price, and staff are always very friendly, and often have a decent level of English, as well as Mandarin & Mongolian (almost every guest I ever see here speaks Mongolian). My first stay here, I had no complaints. The room was clean, comfortable, & spacious. An excellent room at its price, if just slightly dated. My next stay was totally different. I was told upon checking in that my room didn't have a shower but I could move the next day. Not ideal after a day of travelling but I was tired so accepted it and went to bed. The next evening, I returned to the hotel & was told I still couldn't move, & had to wait another day (the day I was checking out). I managed to convince staff to let me move eventually as I really needed a shower, & there was a room available - so why couldn't I just be there in the first place? My third and final stay was also disappointing, though not as bad as the second. Upon checking in, there was a huge group who had checked in just before me - not ideal, but little you can do. But only one elevator was working, and would only hold around 3 or 4 people at a time. So it genuinely took almost half an hour to get to my room. Then, for some reason, the elevator call button on my floor didn't work. Fortunately I found a staff elevator that took me out the back exit and had to use this for the rest of my stay - but that somewhat reduced the convenience of the location. All in all, while I appreciate the price and location here, I have started using other hotels when I visit Hohhot now.

Coming from the Hohhot railway station, the location couldn't be better. The room was compact but very clean and well equipped, and in the 7th floor we also had a nice view. Very nice and large bathroom as well, only thing to be improved is the smell in the bathroom that another traveller also noted. The ladies at the reception were also very kind.

The hotel has a good location, convenient transportation, and is close to the subway entrance. The rooms are comfortable and sanitary. The service staff are very enthusiastic and willing to provide all kinds of help. They also upgraded the audio-visual king-size bed room for free, with a 100-inch large screen. The experience is very good. This is the hotel I must stay in every time I come to Hohhot. I highly recommend it! !

Had problem with breakfast. Had booked it in the hotel cafeteria days before but on the last day the cafeteria was not working. Staff tried to get us breakfast from the in-house hot pot restaurant but it was not working too. Since we had a flight early we had to leave for the airport without eating anything. Otherwise pretty good location and had more than enough amenities. It is only 10min walk from the main shopping square and 20min walk from Manduhai garden.

The shower water temperature kept changing from extremely hot to cold and then to extremely hot again. I could only take a quick shower during the change. I don't know if it was the water heater or something else...
