1. The palace of Empress Catherine, one of the most worthwhile attractions outside St. Petersburg. 2. The Amber Palace and decorations in the inner palace are magnificent, different from the Western and Central European styles, and more gorgeous. 3. The garden is very neat and open, with rich plants, relatively quiet, and suitable for taking pictures. 4. There are military bands playing many Russian and Chinese songs, which are full of emotional value, and you can give some tips appropriately.

The Winter Palace is indeed a very large museum. It was tiring to walk around. It is very spectacular inside, with many things to see and check in. It would probably take a day to see everything. It is cheaper to buy tickets on the spot. Not many people went there in December.

Kazan Cathedral is located on Nevsky Avenue in the city center. It was built in 1801 and completed in 1811. It was designed by architect Voronikhin. It has a majestic and elegant appearance. The shape is based on St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. The main building is a angular shape combining triangles and squares. The main entrance is supported by 12 stone columns. A semicircular colonnade extends from each of the two wings of the main body. Each wing is supported by 94 columns and the corridor surrounds a semicircular square. The church is magnificent, with a variety of relief murals, including Kutuzov's coffin (the body is located underground where the coffin is located), "The Miracle of Our Lady of Kazan in Moscow", etc. There is an endless stream of prayers. It is said that the statue of Our Lady of Kazan enshrined in the church is said to be the most effective. The Russian army came here to pray before three expeditions and won all of them, namely the war with Mongolia and Tatars, the Russo-French War in 1812, and the Second World War. 20240826 AM: 1. Peter and Paul Fortress is a famous ancient castle in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. It is located on Zayach Island on the Neva River and covers an area of 250,000 square meters. It was founded by the famous Russian emperor Peter the Great on May 16, 1703. It was the outpost of the Northern War with Sweden and the origin of the city of St. Petersburg. This day became the anniversary of the founding of the city. After the war, the fortress was also used as a disaster alarm building, a prison for political prisoners, and the headquarters of the October Revolution Uprising Army. Gorky, Radishchev and other celebrities were imprisoned here. The torch of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games was passed here. The area inside the fortress is not too large. It is a good place for sightseeing photography, costume photo shoots, science education, and humanities learning. ①Address: St. Petersburg, Russia ②Transportation: Direct bus access, difficult to park by car ③Peak season: None ④Duration: 4 hours ⑤Ticket price: 185 yuan 2. The city wall is 12 meters high and 2.4-4 meters thick. It was originally made of wood. From 1717 to 1719, it was gradually changed to a stone wall. It is hexagonal, with a bastion at each of the six corners, three facing the Neva River and three facing the inland. There are 300 cannons on the city wall, of which the Nafushikin bastion facing the Neva River fires a blank bullet every hour to tell the citizens the time. This tradition has been passed down to this day. There are 3 city gates: ①Nicholas Gate: West Gate, with anti-theft signs on the door (thieves in European countries are rampant, so try to put your backpack in front of you). Behind the gate is Nicholas Square ②Nevsky Gate: South Gate, also known as the dock gate, built in 1787. Nevsky led his army to victory in the Battle of the Neva River, which played a decisive role in the Northern War. He was posthumously recognized as a national hero by Stalin, and the people also called him the Hero of the Neva River, so this gate is also called the Neva Gate. ③ Petrov Gate: The east gate, which is also the main gate, is in Baroque style. It was designed by architect Trijinin and is named after the 2-meter-high statue of the believer Peter standing on the wall. The statues on the left and right of the arch represent wisdom and bravery respectively. They were created by French sculptor Pinault, but the 7 sculptures and reliefs on the gate were lost in the 18th century. The gate is also inlaid with the double-headed eagle national emblem, which is the first national emblem of Russia. It weighs 1,096 kilograms and was made by French craftsman Basu. In Western mythology, the eagle is the mount of the god Zeus (equivalent to the Jade Emperor in my country). The double heads of the eagle represent Russia looking at Europe and Asia, implying that power is spread across the Eurasian continent. The legend of St. George slaying the dragon is engraved on the eagle's belly. The original national emblem had a crown. After the constitutional monarchy was abolished, the current Russian national emblem only retains the double-headed eagle. The crown was abolished after the October Revolution in 1917. The current crown was destroyed in the 1920s and then restored. 4. St. Peter and Paul Cathedral was built in 1703. It is a Baroque-style building. It was originally made of wood. It was rebuilt into stone from 1712 to 1733. It was closed in 1919 and opened as a museum in 1924. Religious activities resumed in 2000. The church contains the tombs of 13 Russian tsars from Peter the Great to Alexander III. The bell tower on the church is 122 meters high and has been the tallest building in the city for 200 years after its completion... The word count exceeds the limit, continue in the last picture
