ElbikWe did the lake twice as mount Fuji clouded over the first time. The pirate ship is a novelty and option to do first class which offers forward views of mount Fuji. The ship is very crowded but people are generally polite to let you take pictures. On the map of hakone the first view of mount Fuji is taken with the red shrine in foreground and the second as it navigates around the bend toward the destination where cable car etc start.
