Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba

Electronic tickets, no need to pick up tickets, very convenient. The Grand Mosque has been changed to a cathedral, with two styles intertwined and magnificent. The church closes at 3 pm and tries to go in the morning. Going to the clock tower mainly to see the panoramic view of the ancient city, and the church visit should be at least 2 hours apart.

The ruins of the Royal Palace of Cordoba are very beautiful and beautiful. One of the characteristic attractions, a good choice, exquisite and elegant architecture, unique style and charm, strong fun, a good place for taking pictures, a good choice.
Roman Bridge of Córdoba

The ancient Roman bridge, the ancient landmark of Cordoba, spans the Guadalquiville River and connects the old and new city. The 16-hole stone arch bridge, which is 238 meters long and 16 meters wide, was built in the ancient Roman era (about the 1st century AD), and the Moorish era was expanded (after the 8th century AD) and formed the existing scale. On the banks of the river, the old and strong stone bridges and the elegant and atmospheric skyline of the old town on the north bank are reflected; Look carefully - the pier arch retains a thousand years of imprint, highlighting the wisdom of the ancestors (the pier's waterfront side is a tip shape, the back water side is a round end shape, which reduces the impact of the river on the pier, but also slows the water flow to the river bed). Walking across the bridge, the square stone bridge, the solid concrete bridge railing, has 80% new color; in the middle of the bridge, the white statue of the patron saint of Cordoba, the angel of San Rafael, is also a scene.

In Cordoba, a southern city in Spain, there are many streets and alleys with blooming flowers, and the most famous one is the Alley of Flowers. The alleys around the Great Mosque are densely packed and winding. From the main road outside the north wall of the Great Mosque, walk into an alley for nearly 50 meters to find the entrance of the Alley of Flowers. The alley is about 1.5 meters wide and less than 100 meters long, with residential courtyards on both sides lined up; at the end of the alley is a rectangular square (the alley is a dead end), surrounded by exquisite and gorgeous souvenir shops. Compared with many nearby alleys, the scenery is similar but different. Same - white walls stand across the alley, rows of blue pots hang against the wall, and clusters of flowers bloom gorgeously. Different - walk into the depths of the alley, look back and see the beauty of the tower of the Great Mosque between the swaying flowers, revealing the heroic figure of the tower of the Great Mosque, a classic match, a well-deserved Cordoba tourism business card.
Palacio de Viana

Palacio de Viana (Viana Palace), also known as the Garden Museum, is a beautiful place to visit and take photos. The original building was built 500 years ago as a noble manor. After generations of expansion, it has 12 gardens of various sizes. It was bought by a public enterprise in 1980 and opened to the public. It is about a 10-minute walk from Tendillas Square in the city center and about a 17-minute walk from the Grand Mosque. The ticket for visiting the courtyard is 5 euros, and it is open for free for a few hours a week.
Historic Centre of Cordoba

From the Roman era of BCE, it was the center of the Andalusian region. In the eighth century, Muslims invaded, established a dynasty, and flourished, with a population of more than one million people, and more than 300 mosques. Important Islamic literature, including Greek philosophy, was also gathered here, translated into Latin and later spread throughout Europe. Catholics, Jews, and Moors all gathered here. The world's first doctor to open cataracts is here. Sangrca Spanish speciality drink, red wine with sprite and lemon sugar water to quench thirst.
Sinagoga

The synagogue, built in the 14th century, is the only synagogue in Andalusia and one of the best preserved synagogues in Spain. It is just a small room with exquisite carvings and original Hebrew inscriptions on the walls.

Traces of ancient Rome that can be found in Spain, the Roman Bridge in Cordoba! It connects the old and new cities of Cordoba and is said to have a history of 2,000 years. And if you cross here after seeing Metaquis, you will probably see it with even more meaning ^^

I really can't stand the robot comments here... The square is very large, located in the north of the old city, not far from the train station. There are some modern businesses and restaurants around it, and there is a tourist information center on the south side.

We didn't know it existed but once directed there [it's usually open in the cooler weather] it's a fascinating place for anyone who loves history and archaeology. The museum itself is fascinating, with lively exhibits explaining how the place was built and decorated and used. Then a bus takes you on a short tour of the site, which has a wide valley with beautiful views everywhere. If you've been to Knossos in Crete you'll enjoy this type of tour. If not, just wander around and admire this ancient place, which was buried under tons of earth not long ago.
