Urban Blends makes unique products which are doing exceedingly well in offline sales. The company wanted to build a strong digital presence by creating a robust online shop which would showcase their wide range of products which the customers can order from across the globe. The brief was simple – each product should have an impressive image with description and a seamless buying process which would be done within a few clicks.
Our well experienced team at Shiv Technolabs who have developed many such e-commerce projects took over from there and successfully developed the website according to the client’s brief. The end results were amazing as the entire online store ended up being complex free and attractive.
The brand had just entered the digital space and had no idea on how to place their cards well. Our team had many brainstorming sessions with the client, suggesting them what needs to be added that would make the right impact and which features should be added to enhance the entire workings of the brand’s online store. Our development team charted out an outline which was then put into work, and completed within the given timeframe.
As the products were targetted towards customers placed in Australia and New Zealand, the entire framework was developed accordingly, and then the team proceeded with further steps. An SEO friendly content was developed and implemented where needed to reach the target customers residing in these two countries. The client was kept informed during every stage of development to make sure there were no discrepancies in their thought process and ours.
The development team wanted to showcase each of their products in a simple way, so a main menu was created under which other categories were placed including all products, accessories, wholesale packs, retail packs and gift packs. Keeping it simple was an important requisite, hence the least number of menus were placed under the main menu, keeping in mind the site being SEO complaint and user-friendly as well.
Simple and minimalistic was the idea of the design for Urban Blends, and the same was followed, avoiding any fancy images or templates which would disturb the simplicity of the design.
