Who doesn’t like getting a gold star? We’re all about recognizing a job well done, and the extraordinary efforts that get you there. SHPE gives out two types of awards – STAR and Chapter.
STAR Awards
STAR Awards celebrate the outstanding professionals, companies, and government agencies for their dedication, commitment, and selfless efforts to advancing Hispanics in STEM careers. Past winners have included Fortune 500 executives, NASA astronauts, and civil-rights leaders – an impressive list of companies that anyone would like to keep!
Chapter Awards
Chapter Awards, broken up into three categories, honors chapters for their amazing work making the SHPE mission and vision a reality in their communities. SHPE’s success is dependent on the grassroots efforts of our regional leaders, and we won’t soon forget it.
