It was truly touching to see so many women and children walking for hours on the scorching sun in order to receive food during daily Ammucare Charitable Trust food donation in front of Mohanji Village entrance - it is indeed an indescribable privilege to be of service 😊 This daily food donation (twice a day) contributes immensely to a beautiful, sacred energy at Mohanji Village at Maha Kumbh Mela. This is how today's experience was described by our ACT UK team: "The Maha Kumbh Mela is indeed one of the most revered spiritual gatherings, and participating in Annadaan Seva (food donation / feeding service) is a beautiful act of service, compassion, and selflessness. It was wonderful today to have Mohanji, Devi, and Mila present, joining hands with everyone to serve those in need, embodying the spirit of love, generosity, and community. Such activities highlight the profound connection between spirituality and service, enriching both the servers and the recipients. The floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina have passed, but the consequences are still very present. Our volunteers continue to help people in flooded areas by delivering the most necessary necessities. This time we visited the village of Luke near Fojnica again and donated almost 1,000 kg of food and hygiene items. The village is slowly taking on its former appearance, but the people are visibly tired of daily cleaning. However, this did not prevent them from welcoming us warmly and cordially. 🙏 We sincerely thank everyone who supported this action and with their donation enabled us to help people who suffered damage in the recent floods. Our little is a lot for somebody. #ACTFoundation #ACTBiH

In celebration of ACT Foundation USA serving the world for 21 years, its volunteers in Michigan were honored to serve 80 meals to the local community in Kalamazoo Michigan on Wednesday November 6th. ACT Foundation USA volunteers in Michigan partnered with KALAMAZOO TOGETHER FOR THE UNHOUSED “Soap & Hope free Community Laundry Day”. This event sponsored by Kalamazoo Together For the Unhoused pays for up to 4 loads of laundry for the needy. A great big thank you to all of the volunteers who came together to provide and serve this delicious vegan meal which included: homemade vegan bean & rice burritos, vegan vegetable rice, ritz crackers, ritz peanut butter crackers, wheat thins, teddy grahams, bananas, clementines, water, and gatorade. Volunteers also passed out 5 bags of gently used clothing, 100 tide pods, and 3 gallons of white vinegar. Gratitude to all of the kind people who lovingly received this food and other items. ACT Foundation USA-PERU team donated 264 kgs of food supplies to 24 families in the city of La Ciudad de Calabozo, Venezuela. Each family received 11 kgs of groceries. Can't think of a better way of entering the next year of my life, the next journey around the sun, than doing exactly this - a Women's Circle and charitable initiative (donation of clothes, hygiene items and food) for super vulnerable underaged Moms at a Women's Shelter. This was a true wish-coming-true moment. Deep gratitude to my dear ACT Serbia ladies from Belgrade who helped me put this initiative together on a super short notice. I am still enjoying the excitement and inner fullness only humanitarian work can give. May this year be marked by such fullness and effective empowerment of women Love, Devi <3

Activists of the ACT Foundation BiH visited the village of #Luke near Fojnica, which suffered in the recent floods that affected Bosnia and Herzegovina. This Bosnian village has 35 houses where mostly elderly people live. Unfortunately, the consequences of the flood are not only enormous material damage, but three residents of this village also died, and a few days ago an old man who faced the fact that the flood took away everything he had created during his life died. Locals, still visibly shaken, described to us the horrors they had gone through. However, the cheerful and positive spirit did not leave them, as did the gratitude for help and understanding. Now the army is in the village every day, clearing the way with machinery and trying to clear as much as possible in order to repair the damage caused by the water and the forest waste and stones that the water brought. Electricity and water supply is now established and stable. They donated the most necessary food and hygiene supplies to them with the agreement that we will visit them again soon. The locals of Luka share food and other necessities with the locals of the surrounding villages who are also victims of the floods. We sincerely thank the villagers for the warm and cordial welcome, as well as everyone who donated funds to help those affected by the #floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
