The TEA Talks event at Breda University of Applied Sciences was once again a great success!   Last Tuesday, the second edition of the TEA Talks event took place, with this year's theme being 'Emerging industry talent'. It was a very well-organised day where Petro Art Production, in collaboration with Attractiepark de Waarbeek, was honoured to be Headline sponsor.    The day consisted of plenty of highlights, including the many interesting and educational stories shared by industry professionals in the form of an on-stage interview, panel discussion, interactive game session and presentation sessions. Many thanks to all the speakers who shared their knowledge and experience!   In addition, Petro was also honoured to sponsor several one-year long TEA student memberships, allowing students to experience the many benefits and opportunities TEA has to offer. Our team believes it is important to support students in their career path and give them the best possible experience of what this industry has to offer. The TEA Talks event @ BUas will take place tomorrow!   On Tuesday October 29th, the Themed Entertainment Association Talks event will take place for the second time at Breda University of Applied Sciences with ‘Emerging industry talent’ as its theme. Celebrating the Talented Artists of Petro Art Production! Petro Art Production will be showing our artists creations at the International Art Fair at the Kongresshaus Zürich / Zurich Convention Center at Booth 21 from October 11th - 13th. What a week at IAAPA Expo Europe! Petro Art Production looks back on an incredible week in Amsterdam at the IAAPA Expo Europe. With the high attendance for this event and the many great conversations our team had at the exhibition, there are many highlights to look back at. One of these was winning the Brass Ring Award for the 2nd Best Exhibit in the category 36 to 54 sqm. We feel honoured to receive this award for the second time in a row, and this time with our Babylon themed booth. On Wednesday evening, the Themed Entertainment Association at IAAPA Europe Mixer took place, where Petro was the headline sponsor. The Tobacco Factory Theatres hosted a great networking event with many familiar and new faces. Han Kuijpers was invited to give a short speech on behalf of Petro to tell a bit more about what we do and of course thank several parties. In addition, we sponsored tickets for TEA NextGen members, to make it possible for them too to attend this valuable event. Thank you all for attending! Finally, Petro was also able to be present at the Job Fair that took place on the Thursday. A great initiative from IAAPA that we would like to contribute to. Therefore, our colleagues were there to discuss possible internship and job opportunities with students and graduates. El Grito awarded as ‘Best Ride in Europe’! This amazing 60-meter-high drop tower, manufactured by Funtime, at Djurs Sommerland has been awarded this great prize on the international stage at the Park World Excellence Awards 2024 in Amsterdam. Petro Art Production was given the opportunity to theme the queue line, as well as the surrounding area of El Grito, with the design created by Leisure Expert Group. The attraction is themed in the Mexican holiday ‘Día de Muertos’ style. This is well represented in the eye-catching colours and flowers in the queue and the decayed look of a cemetery in the area around the attraction. We would like to congratulate Henrik B. Nielsen, Michael B. Nielsen and the entire Djurs Sommerland team on this wonderful award.
