TALUM’S SCHOOL OF KNOWLEDGE OPENS WITH A FOCUS ON DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION The fourth generation of Talum’s School of Knowledge has officially begun its training program. On December 19, participants attended the first series of lectures, which centered on the digital transformation of our factory. The sessions covered Talum's digital strategy (Dr. Stanislav Kores, Strategic Development), processes of robotization, automation, and digitalization in production (Mag. Anton Verdenik, Service and Engineering Division), and the application of artificial intelligence (Dr. Marian Siwiak, Informatics). “Digitalization is not just about automation. Data and information, which grow exponentially, are becoming more important than the products themselves. A shift in mindset is necessary, as well as a clear understanding of the significance and role of data within the company. This represents an opportunity for those who strive to learn continuously, improve, and excel in their work,” emphasized Dr. Stanislav Kores. Dr. Marian Siwiak explained that artificial intelligence relies on quality data. It complements human effort rather than replacing it and does not solve problems but helps people address them more effectively. Mag. Anton Verdenik highlighted that robotization and automation have become the backbone of the industry in the era of digitalization.
