We are here so that more women will choose to study computer science.
You know, not that many women choose to major in computer science. Despite being 51% of the population, women make up only 32% of all computer science students today. We see fewer women programmers in every major cross of life - in the military, universities and, unsurprisingly, high tech companies. What can be done about this? Research shows that exposing women to the field at an early age and to what one can do with it encourages them to pursue computer science .
