Very usefull meeting for QA agencies providing inspirations for further improvement of staff development. Thanks to ENQA we have Andrea Zacharova, head of Dept. of accreditations at Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education - SAAHE at the meeting.

SAAHE is taking part on this important event: we need to perceive the Europe-vide standards, experiences and best practices in higher education. Our collegues Jana Kurňavová and Juraj Bujdák attend the meeting.

This week at SAAHE ✅ participation in the ENQA Seminar on the European dimension of Quality Assurance in Brussels, which is primarily geared towards those who want to learn about the fundamentals of quality assurance at the European level ✅ participation in the ENQA Workshop on Staff Development for Quality Assurance Agencies in Brussels, the workshop will explore the competencies needed by staff in quality assurance agencies as well as agencies' initiatives to provide professional development and an attractive working environment for their staff ✅ participation in the external review of ENQA, which the association undergoes every 5 years, as part of its own quality assurance cycle ✅ 78th meeting of the Executive Board of the Agency Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education - SAAHE is a full member of ENQA: European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and registered on EQAR - European Quality Assurance Register World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) INQAAHE - International Network for QAAs in HE #ENAI #EHEA

👉 This week, we had a visit from the Azerbaijani accreditation agency Education Quality Assurance Agency (TKTA). The purpose of this exchange was to strengthen the Azerbaijani staff’s expertise and skills through direct engagement with our agency.  The programme of this three-day visit included a presentation from both agencies, SAAHE's legal framework, a short history, sharing of our experience on becoming a full ENQA member, preparation of the self-assessment report, involvement of stakeholders, etc. We sincerely thank TKTA for this experience and look forward to having more similar opportunities! 🎄 Postcard from the Christmas market in Cologne! We celebrated the final seminar of the 2024 ENQA: European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Leadership Development Program. Led by our colleagues Harry De Boer & Daniela Craciun, the seminar brought together #QualityAssurance practitioners from agencies across Europe in an intense peer-learning experience. They worked on super interesting up-and- coming topcis in the field of #QA together with mentors: - Quality assurance across the higher ed missions: Dagmar Blight, Torsten Blomkvist, Eva Fetscher & Ann Murphy mentored by Marilena Maniaci - Use of digital tools (including #AI) in higher education & external QA: Simone Via, Kristina Sutkute, Varduhi Gyulazyan, Philipp Emanuel Friedrich & Janko Balšić mentored by Axel Aerden - Cross-border QA: Lien Beyls, Emilia Primeri, Jennifer Osborne & Ștefania Armășelu mentored by Doris Herrmann - Staff development for QA agencies: Vasco Lança, Ólöf Gerður Sigfúsdóttir, Anikó Kovács & Sabine Epitalon mentored by Kristin Vinje As an added bonus, they were joined by the amazing alumni of the #ENQA LDP: Anaïs Gourdin, Ana Alvarez Calleja, Mohamed Lemine Haless, Natasa Kramar, Orlaith O'Loughlin, Vlad Popescu, Adriana Popoiu, Dagmar Provijn, Tinka Thede, Andrea Zacharova, Charlotte Elam & Andreas Boberg. What a joy to see them back in person and online! Many thanks to AQAS e.V. for hosting all of them so warmly, especially to Doris Herrmann who gave a master class in leadership and history, to Annette Büning & Jennifer Lenzen for the wonderful organisation of the event, and to Jana Newiger & Vi Le for showing us around the Christmas market. Thanks also to Cologne University of Applied Sciences for sharing their premises for the seminar and to Axel Faßbender & Christian Daniels-Lakeland for the intro to their institution's #quality processes. Cologne again! This time I had the pleasure to join the 3rd workshop of the ENQA: European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Leadership Development Program as an alumnus. It was great to see many familiar faces and meet some new ones. The presentations of this year’s participants were very engaging, including the one about QA of all institutional missions, from the group joined by my colleague Dagmar Blight from Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education - SAAHE . Last week, SAAHE representative participated in the 2024 Quality Forum in Krakow, titled “Ensuring the Quality of Education in the Face of Environmental Challenges: Internationalization”. During the Forum, hosted by the Polish Accreditation Committee, a panel discussion was held, which, in addition to our colleague and the Poles, was attended by representatives of the Czech National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education, Latvian AIKA, Romanian ARACIS, Ukrainian The National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance - NAQA and ENQA President Douglas Blackstock.
