    The exhibition InnoTrans is open! We will introduce you our last product offering the benefit of increased operational speed... Sggnss 80XLs for max. speed of 160km/hour     “Light eighy”, a permanent star among the exhibition showpieces at the international InnoTrans fair is always presented in a new technical "dress". This year, the wagon will be presented in the colours of the company METRANS Group, which belongs among the stable partners of Tatragónka.  The first prototype introduced in 2012, which was designed in cooperation with METRANS Group, quickly gained its place at the market thanks to its low weight of 21,5 tonnes and unique ability to load 5 types of containers and swap bodies in 30 different container combinations. The unconventional design of this wagon allowed to reduce the noise level to measured 78 dB(A), but mainly it increased transport efficiency with a 20% reduction in energy consumption (compared to a standard articulated 80' wagon). Reduced number of bogies has also resulted in reduction of maintenance of braking systems and overall maintenance of the wagon by up to 30%. The other two introduced optimizations, XLs and XLs, further pushed efficiency of goods and materials transport, making the wagon the most popular choice for rail operators across Europe. For more than a decade, this wagon has proven its ability to adapt to the challenges of rail transport.    For Sggnss XLs, however, the time has once again come to move forward, this time faster.  Introduction of 'Light eighty' freight wagons with a top speed of 160 km/h into daily operation could mark a significant shift in efficiency and competitiveness of rail transport vis-à-vis air and road transport in Europe. This step would enable faster and more flexible transport services, making container rail transport more attractive to customers who have so far preferred other alternatives.  Increasing speed can contribute to improving intermodal transport, where rail would become a key element in fast, efficient and environmentally friendly transport of goods over long distances.   Together, we have made the first step towards faster rail freight transport, and we are confident that this initiative will inspire others to join in.     The exhibition InnoTrans is approaching quickly, and so will we—literally. We will introduce the last two products, both offering the benefit of increased operational speed. First, we will present the showcase bogie, which can be found at the company's booth. The second, fast and final exhibit will be revealed at the very end..... TVP NG2 HS for 140 km/h / Y25 Lsso (f) - D  TATRAVAGÓNKA presents the exhibition bogie TVP NG2 HS for 140 km/h / Y25 Lsso (f) - D, which dominates its stand at the prestigious international exhibition InnoTrans 2024. This bogie has been designed with an emphasis on interchangeability, higher operating speeds and safety, while it significantly outperforms standard solutions. TVP NG2 HS bogie is particularly distinguished by its suspension, in which no atypical materials are used in the primary suspension.  An important part of the bogie is the longitudinal inter-axle coupling, which improves running characteristics of the vehicle. To support increased speed of 140 km/h, the bogie is equipped with a damper of yawing movements, which leads to a smoother run and ensures its stability. One of the main benefits of the bogie is its ability to reduce dynamic effects to a track, leading to significant reduction in wheel wear of up to 30%. Guiding forces are lower compared to the Y25 chassis, which increases safety against derailment and thus contributes to safer rail transport. TVP NG2 HS bogie is equipped with innovative components from leading industry partners. The KBZ 10 disc brake unit from DAKO-CZ, a.s. offers significantly quieter operation compared to traditional tread brakes, while reducing wheel wear and requiring minimal maintenance. It also contributes to overall noise reduction during operation. Weight-optimised wheelsets with a wheel diameter of 920 mm from BONATRANS GROUP a.s. are made of improved steel quality and feature innovative noise dampers that reduce wheel rolling noise by up to 7 dB(A) and squealing noise by up to 20 dB(A). This new bogie demonstrates TATRAVAGÓNKA's commitment to sustainable solutions with an emphasis on efficiency, safety, cost reduction and maintenance.     Sgmnnss 41´ with discharging container GRAINBOX. TATRAVAGÓNKA presents at InnoTrans also a new concept of using the intermodal wagon Sgmmnnss 41´ for seasonal transport of grain in the GRAINBOX hopper swap body. The Grainbox has volume of 70m3, weight of 6,9 tonnes and is manipulated by a crane. Opening roof (11 455 mm x 600 mm) is operated from the ground allowing convenient handling and loading of bulk goods. Two hoppers with emptying angle of 34 degrees are located below the wagon underframe level. A product is discharged between rails, and discharging is adjustable by means of a lever mechanism. Simple and efficient use of the container makes it 100% compatible with the existing infrastructure for operating wagons carrying agricultural products. The Grainbox has been developed to cover seasonal fluctuations in transport, therefore we have also thought of its storage, which is possible thanks to a simple jig. Three containers can be stacked using intermediate pieces. The wagon Sgmnnss 41' has an optimised underframe for the Grainbox, which has increased its variability for transportation of grain. Compared to a standard 95m3 grain wagon, this combination of wagon and container has a lower grain transport efficiency by 21%, but significantly increases variability of wagon use. Outside the grain season, the wagon is fully usable for transportation of sheet coils, slabs and containers. This exhibit also includes telematics and sensors developed by TATRAVAGÓNKA. Do not miss opportunity to try this audio-visual alarm which indicates the engagement of the handbrake. The wagon is equipped with a special measuring wheelset from the VÚKV a.s. testing Institute accredited according to EN ISO/IEC 17025.     We continue introducing our exhibits at InnoTrans. The next wagon, which responds to the increased demand for transporting electric vehicles with higher weight, is the Laados E-truck ready wagon   The wagon of type Laados is 6-axle, 3-segment, single-deck running-gear wagon for transportation of truck tractors and light utility vehicles.  By means of its optimized weight and increased axle load enabling transportation of heavy truck tractors up to 9,5 tonnes, the wagon adapts to the development of electromobility. In case of transportation of electric truck tractors, it is up to the weight of 14.4t. Minimisation of loading height above top of rail facilitates loading of truck tractors, and the wagon inner profile enables smooth negotiability of truck tractors on the wagon. The wagon complies with the applicable TSI regulations, valid UIC leaflets, ERRI recommendations, agreement on mutual use of freight wagons in the international transport AVV (RIV), EN and ISO standards. The wagon meets the conditions for TEN marking and for GC/GI2 gauge. The wagon was approved on the basis of assessment of national requirements in the individual selected countries. This great project and beautiful wagon emerged from the collaboration with the company Hödlmayr International AG.     2 days to go! The fourth of the seven exhibits of company TATRAVAGONKA a.s. - Sdggmrss is the first TSI wagon with integrated baskets in Europe! One of the most significant new products of the company TATRAVAGÓNKA a.s. is represented by the first wagon of its kind among the TSI wagons – 6-axle intermodal wagon Sdggmrss with two integrated baskets designed for transportation and handling of non-craneable semi-trailers up to the maximal weight of 40t. The wagon also disposes of the largest loading gauge of “e” type as for the articulated pocket wagons according to IRS 50 596-5. The main advantages of the basket wagon are:  - Transportation of craneable and non-craneable semi-trailer without any special lifting jigs,  - No extra costs and logistic problems related to lifting jigs  - Integrated basket is a part of the wagon, and it used for transportation as well as for handling of semi-trailers,  - The maximal weight of a semi-trailer is 40t, the same applies for non-craneable semi-trailers. The wagon disposes of an optimised hitch, and in combination with verified safety concept of the king pin, it increases safety of semi-trailer transportation. The overhang design is mechanically and pneumatically ready for the future installation of DAC. Thanks to the option of track gauge change, this 6-axle articulated wagon is suitable also for transportation on the Iberian Peninsula. For the development of this wagon, TATRAVAGÓNKA a.s. cooperated with the largest intermodal forwarders in Europe. The aim of this cooperation was to achieve TSI approval, which relates to the whole wagon concept, including the basket itself. In the operation it means that in all loading cases, as well as in the empty condition, the basket remains in the wagon. With regard to transportation of craneable semi-trailers, the wagon is not a direct competition for pocket wagons, but with regard to transportation of non-craneable semi-trailers, the wagon has no competition at the market.  This wagon provides our customers with a clean concept of transportation of non-craneable semi-trailers, but it also does not stay behind in the field of transportation of craneable semi-trailers, containers and swap bodies.  The wagon is equipped with an automatic coupling from the company Voith Group and with telematics and sensors for automatic brake test from the company PJ Messtechnik Monitoring GmbH.     We will continue with the introduction of another innovative product presented at InnoTrans. Position 70 on a rail track number 4 is dedicated to Sgmnnss 41´ with discharging container GRAINBOX.     At the upcoming InnoTrans fair, we will present a new specialised rail freight wagon designed for maintenance works on railway infrastructure. LNS – Infra Designed for maximum flexibility and efficiency in maintenance and construction works, this wagon brings many innovations and benefits.  One of its main advantages is optimised loading height, which allows easier access and material handling. The wagon is also equipped with a variant solution for special superstructures, making it adaptable to different types of maintenance equipment and technologies. To increase versatility, it is also ready for installation of container pins that are integrated in the floor, allowing easy transport of containers and increasing variability of wagon's application.     In just a few days, the doors of the international InnoTrans 2024 exhibition will open once again. This year, TATRAVAGÓNKA is bringing a variety of exciting innovations that reflects market needs, reaffirming its leadership in the development and manufacturing of freight railway wagons in Europe. Over the coming days, we will gradually introduce all 7 of our exhibition pieces. Don't miss out on our latest innovations! First, we would like to introduce a wagon that reflects the trends in electromobility. Laers – ready for E-cars  The Laaers wagon will be presented at the InnoTrans exhibition in the colours of ERMEWA SA, which is a long-term customer and partner of TATRAVAGÓNKA a.s.  Laaers is a 2-segment, 4-axle, double-deck open wagon designed for transporting passenger cars, SUVs, small utility vehicles and vans. The wagon unit consists of two short coupled segments, which have a total length over buffers of 31 m and a wheelbase of 10 m.   Smooth cargo loading is allowed by a reduced boarding angle of the wagon. Optimised internal space allows for maximum car loading. The wagon is optimised for higher loads and allows transportation of heavy electric vehicles with the maximum weight of up to 4 tonnes and with 1.5 tonnes loading per wheel. The cars are secured by wheel stops with height of 110mm.  The internal loading space is covered with protective rubber, which prevents surface damage to transported vehicles during loading and transport.   Loading variability is enhanced by the flexible design of the upper deck, which also allows single deck loading and folding down the railings. Easy handling of the upper deck is enabled by a spindle mechanism.     Safety matters! Over the past year, we once again evaluated and honored the colleagues who won first place in the Competition for the safest workplace of our company. Our priority is to create a safe working environment and at the same time maintain awareness of the responsibility of our colleagues for their own safety and the safety of their workplace. This time we rewarded the winners with an experiential tour of the exhibition in Nestville Distillery in Hniezdne. In addition to taking an interesting tour of the production line, they also had the unique opportunity to fill a bottle of Whiskey.
