About us

Our organization RFLD is data-driven, community-focused, and policy-oriented. The Women Leaders Network for Development – Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le développement (RFLD) is a women-led organization working to end discrimination, violence against women and girls, and promote gender equality and human rights across the Sahel, West, Central, and Southern Africa. Our Experience in managing development projects: We provide expertise on gender mainstreaming, research on women’s rights issues, advocacy, and capacity building for women’s organizations Women and Girls at the Center : We prioritize the rights of women, girls, and marginalized groups disproportionately impacted by poverty and discrimination Capacity Building, Advocacy, Research: We equip women and girls with knowledge, skills, and resources to claim their rights effectively. This includes training on legal rights, advocacy tools, and building communication channels with duty bearers. Partner-driven Approach: RFLD prioritizes collaborating with local women-led organizations and respects national development strategies. Needs-Based Interventions: We tailor our support to the specific priorities identified by developing countries. Collaboration for Impact: RFLD actively collaborates with other donors and NGOs to ensure our efforts are coordinated and complementary. Clear Objectives & Monitoring: We monitor progress through data collection and evaluation to ensure we are achieving lasting results. RFLD’s Unique Contributions 1.
