The Heritage Institute, in collaboration with the African Cities Research Consortium (ACRC) and the Somali Gender Equity Movement (SGEM), successfully concluded a three-day workshop on Empowering Youth for Civic Activism and Urban Citizenship in Mogadishu. Nearly 50 young activists participated in interactive sessions on leadership, advocacy, and lobbying, gaining essential skills in civic engagement, governance, and community organizing. With expert-led training on urban governance, policy influence, and voter mobilization, the workshop equipped young leaders to drive positive change and advocate for their rights.
