AGI Denim Teams With Green Story for Digital Product Passports

A new partnership will help AGI Denim quantify and communicate its environmental performance to clients.

The vertical denim manufacturer has tapped sustainability analytics platform Green Story to measure the environmental impact of its products in a credible and easy-to-understand manner.

Green Story conducts lifecycle assessments (LCAs) on apparel, accessories, and textiles, collecting data at every stage of a product’s development. The platform provides a comprehensive analysis to evaluate the environmental and social impact of each component and supplier. Green Story presents the findings in a visually engaging format that follows global standards and regulations.

With this collaboration, AGI Denim aims to provide Digital Product Passports accessed via QR codes to its clients with footprint assessments and supply chain visualizations. This will allow clients to share transparent sustainability data with their own customers, creating a chain of trust and data.

“AGI Denim is proud to lead the charge towards transparency and sustainability in fashion. Our collaboration with Green Story signifies a powerful stride towards impactful change,” said Hasan Javed, AGI Denim executive director.

The B Corp denim manufacturer has many projects and initiatives in place to minimize its environmental impact while maximizing social and economic benefits. Programs focus on water stewardship, renewable energy, circular design and women empowerment.
