This Folding Treadmill is 20% Off for Amazon’s Big Spring Sale

Exercise is hard. Exercise is even harder when you factor in all the time involved: getting to and from a gym, or to and from a park, dealing with the weather, wrangling dogs and kids, etc. Slim treadmills have become extremely popular amongst busy professionals, the WalkingPad among them — with the added bonus that it folds in two. This model, which is shockingly thin and goes up to four miles an hour, is nearly $80 off for Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, making it about half the cost of the typical full-sized treadmill at $318. Not all of us are training for marathons; we’re just trying to get out of couch potato mode.

The treadmill’s dimensions run 56 in. x 21.5 in. (32 in. by 21.5 in. when folded), and the brand says the thickness of the pad is equal to that of the typical door. And it’s about 62 pounds, making it manageable to carry for one person.

Some perks include “smart gravity” foot sensing speed control, which helps prevent falling risk, with the speed determined by your foot’s position. It also comes with a monitor and remote control, both wireless, meaning you can change modes, pause, and track speed, time, or calories easily, especially useful if you’re using this near a desk.

Amazon reviewers are big fans, especially praising the ease of folding, performance, noise, and quality of the build. (If there’s a downside, people say it’s the weight.) Remote workers praise its utility in a work-from-home setup in particular.
