The 7th Cavalry Regiment is a military simulation clan primarily focused on Arma 3. The Regiment was founded October 15th, 2002 and remains committed to military simulation today. As well as being one of the oldest milsim units around, the 7th Cavalry is also one of the largest, for good reason. For the majority of people in the CAV, this unit isn't just somewhere to play, it truly is a brotherhood in which all are respected and supported by their brethren.


1st Battalion:

1st Battalion contains all personnel within our ARMA Area of Operations, and contains the following units:

• Alpha Company is the aviation element, consisting of both Fixed Wing and Rotary aircraft pilots and crew.
  
  
• Bravo Troop comprises a platoon of Cavalry Scouts utilizing Strykers and an attached medical/support platoon.
  
  
• Charlie Company is the tip of the spear, with two platoons of
  Airborne infantrymen including a heavy weapons section.

In addition to our ARMA3 battalion, there are other units within the regiment that support other games such as Hell Let Loose, Squad, and DCS World. Additionally, we have console units for Hell Let Loose on both Xbox and PlayStation.

• Weekly training events at the squad and platoon level.
  
• Monthly training events at the company level.
  
• A custom-tailored Modpack hosted on our servers, ready to be used.
  
• Various Military Occupational Specialties (MOS's) simulated accurately with their own training courses and units.
  
• Advanced courses based off of real US Army courses such as Airborne School, School of Infantry, Air Assault School, medical courses, leadership courses, and more.
  
• A large community with hundreds of people and opportunities for members who display the motivation and leadership skills to advance through the ranks to command positions as Non-Commissioned Officers or as Commissioned Officers.
  
• Operations, events, and courses which cater to a wide variety of timezones.
  
• Tons and tons of people to meet, play with, and forge bonds of friendship which may last forever.
