I have no idea what you're talking about, it's some kind of chaos.
But it looks like you need to look at how the drive has been mounted so far and how it is mounted now (and where).
What does it mean that it didn't want to mount, and how did you fix it.
What is this synchronization.
And whether you have been using this disk as a flatpak sandbox disk so far or are you using steam as a full-fledged part of the system installed by apt.
Error mounting/dev/sdb 1 at/media/vertennn/Dysk HDD: Unknown error when mounting /dev/sdb1
I fixed it just by going to disks and clicking on repair :P .
About the synchronization, you know right? When before the game launches, it like syncs to the steam cloud or something. Also, after writing the discussion threat, I turned off the steam cloud to see if that fixes the problem, it didn't.
If it is a Flatpack sandbox no.
As of what I see on how my drive is mounted now it looks the same...
The /media/user/disk folders are for portable drives.
Add the disk to /etc/fstab and reboot the computer.
You can do it manually
su -l
(letter L)
blkid
Or some program if you know one.
The system mounts the fstab disks on boot.
Steam loads library disks at program startup.
The disk should be formatted preferably as ext4.
If you installed steam normally, i.e. using apt, it should work.
You can also mount the disk to /mnt/folder with the mount command if you prefer (each time).
Surprisingly, it worked, but I'm glad it did.
If you have a problem again, above you have a solution.
