The mechanics for the bus have changed slightly since the game first came out, you can now press Q and E to swap between dialogue choices while looking at the poster. You need to find out the bus times to Cherry Peak, then go back to the bus station (keep in mind that there are two stations, so if one doesn't work try the other)

Think you need better controls besides the mouse. my mouse just keeps telling me to focus and after focusing it wont' allow me to view. this stinks was so excited for this game but can't get passed the bus station.

I made a video explaining how to get to Cherry Peak, but if you're saying it won't even let you view the poster it seems your left mouse button might be broken.

The mouse controls are right click to focus and then left click to interact. In order to get on the bus you need to focus on the Cherry Peak poster, pick the dialogue choice about the bus times using Q and E, and then click the left mouse button.

In order to play this game you need a functioning mouse, otherwise it's impossible to play as you need both mouse buttons

I am also having troubles - my mouse is fine, as is my PC. I read the posters... just says thats where the gift card is from and nothing else. So, go to the buses (both of them) neither are able to be viewed and no bus ever come along.

You need to pick the correct option while viewing the poster to find out the bus times, you can see how in my video linked above! ^^
