I'm not sure I've left more than one or two reviews in all the years I've been a steam user. I came here to say that this game has genuinely surprised me with how good it is. The combat is fine. People dumping on it can go play Fallout and get out of my face. This isn't a AAA title, but it has AAA writing. Every choice you make, even small ones, can lead to completely unexpected outcomes. And more than anything, I'm genuinely INTERESTED in the story. It's gritty. It's grey. And every twist and turn makes you appreciate that the writers never intended ANYONE to truly be a hero. It's about survival, and doing the best you can with what you have in front of you. And trying to make a decision you feel you can still respect yourself for. I love it.

I have never seen a game actively try to stop you from having fun. Every time that I start to fall in love with this game, it just layers on the most boring, inconsequential side content. If you plan to play this game focus on the main quest and ignore everything else, you are not missing anything good. Could not finish the game, deleted about 2/3 of the way.
