People keep saying this game is hard
I might be the last person in the world to check this game out but I need someone to vent to. I started playing like a week ago and already got every achievement in 26 hours. My first playthough on normal took 9 hours and only because I scraped every single menu text, dialogue, "side mision" and any other small detail I could fanboy about.

Everywhere I've heard people reffer to this game as hard and it clearly is on the harder side of things, but I've read posts about people putting in hours just to beat one single stage, and it honestly bothers me because Aside from one boss from the Triad whom I died to 26 times (which took like 15min at most), I feel like I'm being left out on something bc the game gives you way too many options to abuse it. After beating it once on normal and again on NG+, I tried speedrun mode and got 1:14:00 on my first attempt.

Honestly the only 2 things you need to be completely broken is maxxing out the dash and the overdrive skills asap. It doesn't even take skill because I play with a controller and even now I still can't aim my gun for ♥♥♥♥ with a joystick, so I rely 99% on meele and save up the guns for the bosses; The shield can be unreliable but the barrier can be overkill, hacking enemies and health regen remove the difficulty from the fight, stun and frag granades are useful sometimes but still not necesary, I feel like slo-mo is really only useful when getting the hang of the game on your first run and for lining up shots, dash is mandatory and when maxxed out it becomes op, never used the meele charge, weapon upgrade is a must and so is the health upgrade.

Honestly even before maxxing out those 2 you can already melt enemies without having to aim because overdrive gives you unlimited dashes, so you can go nuts and become actually invincible while also having greatly increased damage (and other stats that I never really bothered to read), so what's anyone's excuse for sucking so much. Just play the game fast like it wants you to.

People who say that are either overwhelmed by the action (happens to me at times) or are big mad they died a few times and threw a big tantrum, waa waa, videogame isn't Marvel slop, I don't always win, boo hoo. Looking at you, Miodrag.

I wasn't trying to make fun of anyone, I'm just legitimately confused at the intended dificulty in the game design. Like for example on one hand the game expects you to achieve the air-tight milestone of speedrunning it in under an hour for an outfit, but then there's also the npc that expects you to die once per stage 50 times over before even making it to the second level, I don't think I died more than 35 times in my first run throught the whole game. So again, is the game by design ment to be taken as a pro level challenge or did they exaggerate with things like the 666 death achievement?

As someone who 100% the game, yes the game is ♥♥♥ hard if you don't delve into the speedrun achievement category.

The game really isnt hard, i dont get why so many people said that. I maybe died a total of 10 times in my first normal paythrough, altough i didnt keep track so who knows. Even handicaped myself a bit by not fully utilsing abilities. Just keep dashing. With the abudant checkpoints those deaths also werent punishing. Maybe it used to be harder on release?

It's like these people don't understand you have to die and understand the levels pattern, Super Mario World anyone?

Mouse and Keyboard is not the best option, definitely.

For example, on Keyboard, tap Right buttom of mouse is dash, and press right buttom stops time and let you choose 3 points you can dash to. But the problem is, press Right buttom a LITTLE bit longer you will stop the time...So during whole prologue I just abandoned dash and always dash 3 times, yeah.

gamepad for sure, but it makes shooting unreliable and will need getting used to
