What happened to Dwight T. Barnes after the Black Mesa Incident?
We've never heard what happened to the character, and even though he was just a character meant for the Boot Camp section and was never really expanded on, what happened to him anyways? (He's the drill instructor in the Boot Camp section for anyone wondering.)

He died during the 7 Hour War. Its canon that anyone that didn't make it to Half Life 2 never made it out of Black Mesa or died during the one sided fight during the Combine.

Dr Magnusson survived and he only appeared 2 expansions after Half Life 2.
A few characters from hunt the freeman down (which is as canon as opposing force goes) survived as well.

Hunt down the Freeman is shi tty fanfiction. So its not canon. Magnusson only appeared in Episode 2 so far. His voice actor died two years so he'll need to be recasted like Eli was.

But he was never in Black Mesa, he`s the instructor in boot camp.
